To the Simmons Family,

As the mother of a teenage daughter, my heart goes out to you. Life is so fragile and can change on a dime. I can only imagine your physical and emotional pain, but know there are people whose thoughts and prayers are with you.

The Newberry Family

To the Johnson Family,

What a tragic accident to happen to someone so young. I’m glad C.R. was able to work at something he truly loved. Most people never get to live their dreams and C.R. did just that. We never think about how fleeting our lifespan is, just 70 years, 80 if by some special circumstance. ~Psalms 90:10
What comforts me in times of stress is my belief in the words recorded at Acts 24:15, “and I have hope toward God, which hope these [men] themselves also entertain, that there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous.” Please, take care of each other during this sad time, and pray for Gods blessings as I will pray for you.
March 08, 2010
Johnson Family, You are in my prayer. God be with you. You have my sympathies, be strong, remember all the good and special things about CR.

For C.R.

WEEP NOT FOR ME

Do not weep for me when I no longer dwell among the wonders of the earth; for my larger self is free, and my soul rejoices on the other side of pain...on the other side of darkness.

Do not weep for me, for I am a ray of sunshine that touches your skin, a tropical breeze upon your face, the hush of joy within your heart and the innocence of babes in mothers arms.

I am the hope in a darkened night. And, in your hour of need, I will be there to comfort you. I will share your tears, your joys, your fears, your disappointments and your triumphs.

Do not weep for me, for I am cradled
in the arms of God. I walk with the angels, and hear the music beyond the stars.

Do not weep for me, for I am within you;
I am peace, love, I am a soft wind that caresses the flowers. I am the calm that follows a raging storm. I am an autumns leaf that floats among the garden of God, and I am pure white snow that softly falls upon your hand.

Do not weep for me, for I shall never die, as long as you remember me...
with a smile and a sigh.

I am so very sorry for your loss. I have lost a son and grandson...sooo very hard...always in our hearts and mind.
February 26, 2010
If fate cannot be changed, then at least your son died doing what he loved to do. I have a son in the extreme skiing industry and know well the concern we parents feel when they are out there pushing the limits. Part of loving our children is accepting their passions with support and encouragement. You did well. May your wonderful memories give you strength.

*********
To my dearest family,
some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.

I'm writing this from heaven.
Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."

It's good to have you back again;
you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, t
hey'll be here later on.

I need you here badly;
you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do,
to help our mortal man.

God gave me a list of things, t
hat he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list,
was to watch and care for you.

And when you lie in bed at night,
the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....
in the middle of the night.

When you think of my life on earth,
and all those loving years
because you are only human,
they are bound to bring you tears.

But do not be afraid to cry;
it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers,
unless there was some rain.

I wish that I could tell you
all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you,
you wouldn't understand.

But one thing is for certain,
though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now,
than I ever was before.

There are many rocky roads ahead of you
and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it
by taking one day at a time.

It was always my philosophy
and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world,
the world will give to you.

If you can help somebody
who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night....
"My day was not in vain."

And now I am contented....
that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way,
I made somebody smile.

So if you meet somebody
who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up,
as on your way you go.

When you're walking down the street,
and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps
only half a step behind.

And when it's time for you to go...
from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....
you're coming here to me.
