Truly God was with hem and did Gods work he was truly loved.
Brother David Wilkerson I wish I would of known you when you were here with us but I pray I will see you in Heaven when it is time. Your messages will inspire all until Jesus comes. They are so powerful, with authority and full of love. I know you are working with Brother John Paul Jackson and Jesus of course, getting ready to come for us. If God allows you to read these I just listened to the last message you preached here on the end times and we are right there! Thank you for your loving and bold messages not sparing anything, that we know what is expected of us and what is to come.
Bro. Dave's life has indirectly contributed to my amazing story of Redemption in 2004, in a lonely [literal] Prison Cell.
God's Son [JESUS] has used the ministry of Bro. Dave Wilkerson- to soften my heart every time itit's pondered upon. What unconditional agape' Love the Father has bestowed upon mankind - through His only begotten Son, by His [Holy] Spirit!
May others be bold as Dave - for Christ's sake.
Its never to late to say good-bye. Davids life lives on through his ministry and prophetic word. I believe we are closer to saying hello again than good-bye. We live because Jesus lives. Yesterday, today, and forever. Thank you David for your dedication to Christ. I will continue to read your words in reverance and honor.
I listen to your sermons just about every night I never heard you in person but you were truly a man of GodI know you're with God now but I wish I would have had the opportunity to meet you in person thank you
Rev. David Wilkerson, he was Truly one of God's General. -Bro. Quamie Bynoe (Trinidad, West Indies)
Thank you, Rev. Wilkerson. Rest in peace.
A life well lived & touched many with his message to live a righteous life. I read his
book in early 70's & visited his church to hear him preach in Time Square in early 90's.
This man's life has touched millions. If any one wants to see true ministry;look at this man's live, his family and work. What a honor to Jesus Christ and His Church.May GOD be with sister Gwen and the Wilkerson Family.
David Wilkerson is a true prophet of God. He tells the truth and yet never fails to offer us hope. I have been missing him since that fateful day. His trials and tribs are over; and he is with the object of his affections. For this I am happy. I pray for his family and that they find peace in the storm. we shall all meet in the sky one day!
Brother David was a HUGE part of my foundational doctrinal teaching. A master. Highly respected and esteemed by me. Instrumental in my ministry, and my stepson's recovery.I still miss him.
My heart is heavy to know David is no longer with us, but at the same time happy he is with God. God knows the loss we feel.
My condolences to the family. May you be comforted in memory of the life you shared together. . . . Ken Purvis (Papaikou, HI)
I so remember Bro. Wilkerson's ministry and impact on my husband's and my newly found walk with the Lord. We received his newsletter and excerpts from his sermons. They were encouraging and expressed the Love of God to us all. What a man of deep insight and wisdom. Will certainly be missed by the christian world.
I will always love the Ministry of David Wilkerson, and I pray that it will continue until Jesus comes.
It is sad to think about Brother Dave being gone, but we rejoice to know where he has gone. I get so home sick sometimes to go on to be with the Lord too, but I want to be content until the Lord calls for me. My husband is 80 years old and I am 79 and when you get that old you are just looking to go to be with Jesus, especially when you are in pain about all the time.
With Brother Dave passing away it just make heaven a little sweeter.
It is going to be wonderful when we all get there together.
Our Sympathy goes out to his family.
I remember attending a teen rally in Pittsburgh where David Wilkerson, along with Kathryn Kuhlman changed my life as a lost boy trying to understand my feelings and actions. I can remember David weeping as he shared the Gospel, and God's salvation plan for us. I was moved to accept the Lord that day in the late 50's. I know our Lord is saying; Well done good and faithful servant.
Your friend, Beverly Brickett, sends her condolences in the passing of David Wilkerson. She has supported the ministry for many years and praises God for the many changed lives.

My husband and I have prayed for you and will continue to. You were very blessed to have such a special husband, father and grandfather. Jesus used him tremendously and the memorial service was so encouraging showing how much God can use one man to help so many people!!
Deepest condolences to the Wilkerson Family on the passing of
Rev. David Wilkerson.
I have been receiving the World Challenge newsletters for 20+ years and feel as though Mr. Wilkerson was a personal teacher to me. His letters always spoke directly to my heart, as though God himself knew exactly what I needed to hear for that particular time. My own heart is heavy at the loss of this bondservant but what crowns he will be wearing in Heaven for being that good and faithful servent.
I was in shock to hear of Pastor Wilkerson's death. I've been a fan ever since I was a teen and read The Cross and the Switch Blade. I even had the pleasure of meeting Nicky Cruz many years ago. What a glorious testament to waht God can do to a heart yeilded to Him. I am sorry for your loss, but we know that this is only a temporary loss.
To the family of Reverend Dave Wilkerson:
Your loss has been heaven's gain. Pastor Dave was a man after God's own heart. He visited our church on many occasions through the years (Pentecostal Tabernacle/Elmira, NY) and had a great friendship with our late pastor, Reverend John Bedzyk. As a young boy, I gave my heart to Jesus when he and Nicky Cruz were at our church at the same time. He was your husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle; and was a Hero of the faith to me! Thoughts and prayers go out to your families! Our church has had you in our prayers since we heard the news. We continue to hold Gwen up in our prayers and our believing for a speedy recovery!
Blessings in Christ!

Thank you Rev. David Wilkerson. I was one of the countless who were blessed by your faithfulness and ministry. Matt. 25:21.
David was essential in my accepting Jesus Christ into my life. When I was 16 he was a guest speaker to our Youth Fellowship at Charlton United Methodist church, Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. After he gave me a copy of his book The Cross and the Switchblade, then spoke to me for a while, I decided to give my life to Jesus. I will never forget meeting him and our discussion. David led me to Christ and I believe he is in heaven with Jesus Christ.

I was heart broken to hear of David's passing but was quickly reminded that he is with his Lord and Master- the one who he spent his whole life to glorify and point others to. Although he was a huge influence on my family and will be greatly missed we realize that he was here for the season appointed to him. We pray for his wife and family during this painful time. Thank you, Jesus, for this awesome man of God who lived in a manner to please you. May we follow his lead and in the end hear as he did, "Well done good and faithful servant.".

I had the pleasure meeting Pastor Wilkerson in 1994 in Texas. I never forgot him and admire his spirit and love for God and people. RIP Bro. Wilkerson may God bless and comfort the family.
Several years ago, I wrote to David Wilkerson to share how much I had been blessed and changed because of his ministry. In the 70's I was greatly moved by The Cross and the Switchblade. Now in our late 60's, my husband and I, along with my 89 year old mother, have looked forward to reading his Pulpit Series each month. We have been challenged and grown because of his messages. We feel like we have lost a member of our own family, and we are praying for his family in this time of sorrow, even while we rejoice that his earthly labors are done and he is with the One who knows and loves him best. But, he will be greatly missed. On behalf of my mother, Edna Noel and my husband, Philip.

This world has lost a great, great man of God. I took heed to every word this man said. I believe in my heart that David Wilkerson was a sincere servant of God. I will miss knowing that he is not here. But, I do know where he is and I know Jesus has many rewards for him. I am praying for his family. May his sons follow in his steps.
Sheila, Tampa, Florida
My husband and I cried when we heard the news of his passing on. For Pastor Wilkerson was more like a spiritual father to us. He affected our lives so much. We have been reading his pulpit series sermons for 30 years. Always being touched by the Holy Spirit. The Lord had laid him and his family on my heart in prayer for the last few months.
Surely the Lord welcomed him saying, "Well done thou good and faithful servant, enter in to the joy of the Lord"!
He was a true man of God and so very humble. I received his sermons regularly and was very insprired by his thoughts and his command of the Bible. He was a great teacher who cared deeply for those who were very poor and so needy. May his passing remind us all that our time here on earth is so very short and to make the best of our days.
This man was such a blessing to everyone he met. His testimony was wonderful and he touched so many life's in his lifetime. Ww will say a prayer for hi famty during this time
My condolences and love to the family, friends and congegation of Rev D. Wilkerson. I often read and studied his biblical works and teaching papers online. They were a great blessings to me in my spiritual growth. I pray he is at peace and will receive his golden crown for his faithfulness.
David Wilkerson is one of the greatest men of the last 500 years. I am grateful that he found time for me because Times Square Church has so many adherents. I used to talk with him on a regular basis. He called me buddy. He encouraged me as a young preacher. He genuinely loved the Lord. He was real. He loved me very much and I love him too. I look forward to seeing him in glory!
I was co founder of Teen Challenge New Orleans so I along with millions of others are so apprishative of MR> Wilkerson's abedience to G-D in His calling.

While a student at CBC in Springfield, MO., in the late 70's, Dr. Wilkerson ministered in chapel. He said he always gave a salvation call, but this time the Holy Spirit told him to give a call for those under a "cloud"- they were unable to think or process, etc., due to this "cloud" over them. THE EXACT TRIAL I WAS GOING THRU, and doubtless many others! And, those are the very words I used to describe the trial to myself- "cloud". What a blessing. Thanks you for loving Jesus and obeying Him, all these years. I'll see you in Heaven, hopefully soon.
May the God of all comfort be with you 2 Cor 1:3,4
Rev. Wilkerson's Teen Challenge saved my life 39 years ago. I have been a minister for 34 years, 26 at the same church. I've been married for 37 years and have 3 grown children and 7 grandchildren all living for Christ. God only knows where I would be had it not been for Rev. Wilkerson's ministry.
I have read & been blessed by David Wilkerson's sermon messages for years; I truly believe he was a prophet of God. May his legacy & his ministery continue; God Bless the family & minisry staff at time of sorrow.
I am a graduate of the Seattle Metro Womans Teen challenge, it has been 10 years being clean and celebrating Jesus. Thank you, I wouldn't have made it without Teen Challenge where the biblical principals that I learned taught me how i was designed to live, I haven't been the same since. I will look forward to meeting Mr Wilkerson at the feet of Jesus.
Rev. David Wilkerson was a blessing to our world. Now he will be a blessing to heaven.
David Wilkerson wrote The cross and the switch blade. it was a wonderful book about Nicky Cruze, it was the first book I had really ever read. I never got to meet Rev. Wilkerson, but I know for a fact that he's with the Lord now. My thoughts and prayers are with his family. God bless yu all.
I didn't know why I felt like playing one of Br. Dave's old sermons on the evening of 4/27/11. As I opened my inbox the morning of 4/28/2011, hoping to read the devotional from Brother Wilkerson , I was shocked to hear the news of his sudden passing. I cried very hard but then I heard the Holy Spirit say: 'He ran his race well and he's now in the presence of Jesus. You should focus on your own race and make sure you finish as well as he did.' What a blessing he was to the body of Christ! My heart and prayers go out to his family!
I have a desk drawer full of Rev. Wilkerson's sermons. It is overflowing into another drawer. I look forward to his weekly sermons. For many years I've considered him to be "my pastor". He boldly goes deep into the Word and magnifies the Lord and the reader "sees Jesus" and has no doubt about His will. I will continue to read the sermons for help in this earthly battle. I want to be an overcomer and thank Jesus for sending us David to demonstrate how that can be done daily. Praying for Gwen's full recovery and that many will come into the Kingdom to show purpose in your sudden loss of husband and dad.
This man of God made a huge impact in my life - especially when I was first saved. What a glorious time he is having with the Lord now. May the Lord comfort the family at this time and hold them near to His heart.
Brother Dave will still be shared on the streets of Texas by this minister. brbruce aspgren JESUS SPOKEN HEAR
I am sorry to hear of your lost and heaven's gain. Pastor Wilkerson sermons in the mail always encouraging and gave me a clearer understanding of God's word and purpose in my life. I have saved many of them to go back and read from time to time. He will be missed. But I thank God for his purpose in my life.

I read "The Cross and the Switchblade" in my late teens and it was lifechanging for me. It opened my eyes to a world larger than the farm I was raised on and the needs there were in the world. Rev. Wilkerson is receiving his reward for a life well lived.
Only we and God know the great impact Brother Dave had on our lives. From milk to meat. From immaturity to maturity. From hopeless to hope, the word came in such a timely manner each month, in such a way, only to be called supernatural. THANK YOU FOR GIVING TO THE LORD - we were lives that were changed - as the song goes. We feel like we've lost a close family member, a friend, a pastor, a spiritual father, and the list goes on. For almost 25 years, he was WITH US, walking us through deep, deep and dark trials as only he could do and understand it seemed. Our lives and hearts have been shattered by his tragic passing, but we know HE IS WITH JESUS - and we can't wait to meet him personally on that day and give him that long awaited hug. Our prayers and thoughts are with the family, minstry and close friends now, as I'm sure their loss is beyond words. Especially Gwen....may God heal you to wholeness, comfort you, hold you, strengthen you as only HE can do in such an hour as this. May God touch your child and grandchild who are fighting cancer and may GOD RECEIVE GLORY and HONOR and PRAISE through the testimony of literally thousands whose lives were changed by BROTHER DAVE WILKERSON, GIANT OF THE FAITH. WE WILL MISS YOU TERRIBLY, but know your mantle fell immediately on Pastor Conlon and he will do you proud. REST WELL BROTHER DAVE - REST WELL ! WE LOVE YOU, Wayne and Nancy G.
I thank GOD for using Pastor Wilkerson to reach the lost & all who were hurting. I was lead to the LORD by Nicky Cruz in Alamogordo, New Mexico in 1979 due to Pastor Wilkerson leading Mr. Crus to GOD. I still am serving GOD along with my wife & 3 kids. Sorry for your loose but yet Pastor Wilkerson's glory with GOD!!!!
Condolences to the Wilkerson family. Loved reading his World Challenge messages which will be truly missed. Also, reading his book The Vision many, many times throughout the years as he was so right on about the signs of the future. Now he is with his Almighty God that he served throughout the years. (DS, Illinois)

A true man of God that made a difference in New York and around the world. Nicky Cruz, one of his most precious disciples, has gone to spread the gospel of salvation to the lost youth of several generations. David, I felt I knew you, because I know the God you served. We will meet some day.
My prayers are with the family at this time of great loss,Thank you Pastor Dave for your faithfulness and obedience in preaching the word of God.

Bro. Wilkersons life always seemed ablaze for winning the lost for the Lord. His life truly inspired me when I was brand new in the Lord and still does today.
What a blessing this true man of God was and what a legacy he leaves to us all. May we pick up the mantle and run on for Jesus!
Well done thy good and faithful servant.
Thank you, David, for being obedient to the Most High God! I am looking forward to meeting you in Heaven!
I also read his book, "The Cross and The Switchblade" and listened whenever I had an opportunity to see him on tv. He certainly was an inspiration to me and many others. I wish we had more brave sould like the Rev. David Wilkerson. My condolences to the family.
I have known Dave Wilkerson for many years and he was a great person to try to help teens and pre-teens to change their ways of living. Drugs are not the answer. May God continue to touch his wife and be with her and the kids during this horrible time.
Marie D Whittington
As a young Christian, in the 70's as well, the story of "The Cross and the Switchblade" fueled my desire to win the lost and Bro Wilkerson's life has been a shinning example of a man who loved God above all else. Oh that there were more men and women of God so upright, dedicated and changing the world as he has done and will continue to do! I never got to meet him here, but oh what a day that will be when we stand before Jesus in the city where the Lamb is the Light!
Dear Wilkerson Family,
We are so saddened by the loss of this man of God. A "father" to the church internationally. We pray for your comfort and peace during this difficult time and also rejoice at the thought of David at "home". God bless all of you...You are in our prayers daily. ( T& M, NY)

I am a 60 year old Christian that read "A Cross and A Switchblade" as a teen and have always looked for further writings by Rev. Wilkerson. I am sorry for your loss but
think about David dancing on streets of Gold with contact
with the only person who really mattered in His Christ filled worship. JESUS. Oh how I long for that day.
We're so saddened by your loss.
Comfort comes in knowing Rev. David is with the Lord and that we'll see him again.

I feel as though a part of me has left this earth. Though I have never known Pastor Wilkerson personally, I have hung onto everyone newletter and book he has written. I found him to be honest and true and brave in declaring the word of the Lord. Heaven's gain became out loss. I will forever be thankful for how he spoke into my life through the newsletter and most importantly, through the life he lived - he lived it well. May God's comfort and peace surround and hold his family, his church, his friends and may God raise up another to carry the torch of this precious man of God!!
A mighty teacher of the word of GOD very detailed and sound doctrine. He will be missed and we pray for the Wilkerson family that God comforts them thru this time.

Thank God for Teen Challenge. Thank God for David Wilkerson.
My dear husband Herman and I have been contributers to the Wilkerson Ministry for years and years. We were very blessed by that. Herman went on the meet our Lord and Savior on May 4, 2009. I am sure that he and David are sharing in all the rewards that they had stored up. Oh what a great day of rejoicing. Lannie and Robin Hamsley, Unadilla GA
A blessed voice of righteousness--a faithful servant who has entered the joy of the Lord. He will be missed.
As I remember when I was a teenager in the 60's David Wilkerson lived here in Boise, Idaho. I was in Junior high and he held Teen Challenge meetings during our lunch hour so we could attend. All we had to do was walk acrooss the street to the meeting. I thoroughly enjoyed them, as I have gone to church all my life. My heart goes out his loving family at this time of sorrow. God Speed Daivid! We will miss you!! Judy Aldrich...Boise, Idaho
My condolences for the family. God Bless Rev. David Wilkerson. I read his book when I was in junior High! I'll never forget him!
My heart goes out to David Wilkerson's family.
Sorry to hear of David's tragic accident. I saw his film on "The Cross and The Switchblade" and it touched my heart deeply. I've given my heart to the Lord after watching this movie and I've been serving the Lord ever since. May David rest peacefully in the arms of our Lord forever. I know he will be greatly missed for his work for the Lord.
Glory be to God for the hope we have in salvation through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. May you take comfort in knowing that this is just a temporary separation.
My heart is heavy upon hearing about his death but my spirit is filled with the joy that he has gone on to our Father. I will miss his letters each month and pray that all the work he started is carried on in faith. May God bless his family at this time and let them know how much he will be missed. Janice Gealey, Toms River, NJ
WC faithfully sends to my email Pastor Wilkerson's pulpit series. It has always been timely with message of encouragement, wisdom and instruction. His ultimate message has always been to look to God and trust in Jesus at all times. I thank God for his ministry and his faithfulness that is an inspiration to us. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.
Dear Beloved Family and close friends of Brother David, I would like to thank you for giving us an opportunity to also grieve the lost of this great man of our Heavenly Father. When I was saved Brother David was one of the most influencal person that thought me to be a eating the meat of the word (from the milk). To this day I am being thought through the words of the Messiah on a daily basis and so many of his teaching. I will continue to pray for Pastor Colon and of course his family in the ministry and his beautiful wife for the Kingdom's service. May our Messiah continue to demonstrate the beauty and majesty of His Love for all of you. Therese Danis, Canada
Bro. Wilkerson changed our lives when we were new Christians back in the 70's and his words still provide us with guidance and backbone...
to be absent frm here is to be with the lord and he is truely with the lord.a great worker for the lord and the people and will be truely missed.
The world has lost a great prophetic voice. But, God's plan is perfect and by faith I know that Bro. Dave's work will be carried on as God continues to empower and guide those who worked with him throughout his ministry. There are no sufficient words to voice what his devotions and letters have meant to me and my family. We grieve for this loss and for the family's even greater loss. Our prayers are with you througout this stage of your lives and as each of you step into the future carrying on the work into which Bro. Dave poured his heart and his life. God's blessings and peace be given in double portion to you all.
He was blessed with being so attentive to what God instructed him to do and passed it on to the rest of the world. I am going to miss his facebook daily devotions and his monthly sermon mailouts. My feeling was, "how will this world manage with out him, who could possibly take his place?" God is always so direct and to the point... He said, "Patti, it may be you..." I think we all need to "step up our Game" as Christians and be the example that Jesus, and David Wilkerson have been. I would imagine that when Jesus greeted him there, in Heaven that day, David said, "But Lord, I am not through, there is so much more to do". And Jesus replied, "Well done my good and faithful servant." God Bless you and your family!
One of God's soldiers gone from labor to reward. Brother Wilkerson was indeed one of the bravest men of God I have yet to follow through ministry and his deeds. May God bless his family and keep them in his care.
Pastor Wilkerson was one man that was used by God to reach the many who were underdogs, outcasts, and friendless. David was on fire for God in the tradition of Luther, the Wesleys, David Brainard,Mother Teresa, and others. Now he has heard the words of God-"Well done, good and faithful servant."
My prayers are with the Wilkerson family! I received much revelation knowledge from him and can truthfully say that I am who I am in Christ because of impartation that I received from his teachings! RIP Rev. Wilkerson!
A true spiritual giant and the epitome of humility, Pastor Wilkerson inspired me over and over again through his newsletter where he dissected the Word while sharing his heart. I HAVE KEPT EVERY SINGLE NEWSLETTER for the last 20 years or so, and treasure them, as they are true gems to me. Thank you, Rev. Wilkerson, for making the Word of God real to me! God bless his family and partners in ministry. Heaven rejoices!
God is too kind to do anything cruel, too wise to make a mistake, to deep to explain himself. We're native Texans and have loved him and his ministry for 50 yrs. We send our condolences with love to his family. May God comfort you as you walk through this valley.
I read your book as a teenager and was so moved. Thank you and God bless you and your family.
I thank God for brother Wilkerson and the ministry founded to help those who are lost, and the body of Christ with his wisdom and his commitment to God. God bless the family and the church. My life has been helped and inspired by this mighty man of God.
Pastor S.J. Haywood Warner Robins, Ga.
I am sorry to read that a great christian icon in my lifetime has passed. I know that he will reap the wonders of what he has sown. I pray for his family.
Thanks for teaching and living" the word of God is a two edged sword: " Your example has brought so many to listen and hear Gods' voice, and so many to the cross of our Jesus. Love, peace and joy to your family. Tom Charde, Hickory, North Carolina
Thank you for standing always with passion tour our Lord Jesus Christ cry,for always living the life of a servant .My prayer and loving thoughts for the family and friends and brothers and sisters in Christ during this time of grief. (Celenita Welvaert,FL )
Thank you for preaching the truth! I was blessed to attend Times Square Church for years and sit under some of the best teaching. I continued to get email newsletters of Brother Daves messages and am continually blessed, and they are usually the answer to a prayer I was praying.
The Lord was not caught off guard by Brother Dave's passing, I believe the Lord knew before the foundation of the world when Brother Dave would go home. Brother Dave's work was finished. He ran the race, he is now being welcomed home as a good and faithful servant. I never realized until yesterday when I was talking to someone, how often I quote Brother Dave and what a huge impact he made on my faith in the Lord. A strong, unwavering faith to believe the Lord can do and will do anything He says he will do. I refuse to limit God! I think Brother Daves passing is at this very time in history for a reason, one of them being to wake up a sleeping church! Jesus is coming soon! Are you ready? Praise the Lord for Brother Dave and all of the Wilkerson family. Our thought s and prayers are with you at this time. I feel I have lost a family member, well I have. All who hear and obey God's word and have Jesus as their savior are family. We will see him again! Until then I will continue to keep my eyes looking upward.
What an awesome servant of our King that he was!! We are deeply saddened about his death, BUT we know heaven is rejoicing. Well done my faithful servant is what he will be hearing. God bless his family!!!
I was inspired by brother David Wilkerson teachings. I read "The Vision" when the book first came out and never forgot what he had to say about the vision God gave him. I also read "The Cross and the Switchblade" and last year purchased some of his books. My condolences for your loss to his family and we know he is now with the Lord Jesus Christ walking the streets of gold. He has finished the race.
"Pas. David Wilkerson was a "spiritual father" to many of us. back in Jan., Feb and March 1986, he and his brother and Bob Phillips had a series of meetings in Dallas called "A Call to Repentance". What he felt was that they would only have one set of meetings that grew to three. What a glorious time of soul-searching and seeking the face of ABBA FATHER. It changed my life ! My condolences to the family. - Michael Keller (Arvada, COLO)
David was in deed a man of God, and had a lot of boldness too. I saw the movie The Cross and the Switchblade and God was in his life strong and he leaned on God too. Thank you God for calling David Wilkerson to preach to NIcki Cruz, and to the other men and women too. Amen
un grand homme de Dieu nous a quitté? Ses messages continueront à nous fortifier et nous faire grandir dans la foi. Il restera gravé dans nos pensées à jamais.

To Debi, Bonnie, Gary, and Greg and of course to Gwen:
My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Bro. David touched my heart over forty years ago. I consider myself blessed to have known him and you. My prayers are with you all. Bonnie I will "sing" with you in the night watches if you need me to. God bless.
Thank you Lord for Rev. David Wilkerson; Davids passion for gang members will continue until Jesus come! Deepest sympathy to the family;
Pastor Wilkerson was a great man of God. I enjoyed raeding his news letter. A good man gone to be with Jesus. He will be greatly missed. Earth's loss and heaven's gain. God bless his family.

We have lost one ot the most loving, caring, Christian pastors in this world. I was in New York City many years ago, and visited the church David Wilkerson was still pastoring at that time, but never was able to experience a service or hear Pastor David Wilkerson preach. I have through many years, however, received his sermons in the mail as do many of my friends. The timing of so many of those letters and sermons has been so impeccable. I also saw the movie of "The Cross and The Switchblde" many years ago, and still have the book. Pastor Wilkerson, though I never met you in person on this earth, I know you have given so generously over the years of your time, your talents, your unquenchable thirst for the Word of God that you shared with thousands, millions. Now it is your time. You are finally receiving the fruits of your labor, visiting many in heaven whose lives you have influenced for eternity. But most of all, you are now and forever in the arms of Jesus! Your friends and family are so very sad, but they are comforted knowing where you are, and that you are safe, and that they will join you someday soon. May you reap with rejoicing, with perfect love from your brother, Jesus, and your dad, your Heavenly Father, as you embrace! J. Zauner (IL)
We are so very sorry for your loss, Mrs. Wilkerson. Your husband will be missed very much. He was instrumental in many things of the Lord. We pray God will give you supernatural peace during this time of your grieving.
I have received Rev.Wilkerson's pulpit series letters since 1975 and have them all except one. They have helped my faith so much.I thank the Lord for the Holy Spirit for comforting his family.I know he was a prophet,Rev.Wilkerson said he was no prophet but a watchman; Ezekiel 33.Well done thy good and faithful servant.Let us also pray for the truck driver.
To the Family of Pastor Wikerson,
To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. I am praying , and knowing that the peace of Our and Saviour be with each and everyone.
Pastor Wilkerson, was a Wonderful preacher and has touched so many lives!
THANK YOU MR WILKERSON A FRIEND TOOK ME TO NEW YORK CITY 20 YEARS AGO AND I STILL REMEMBER THAT YOU PREACHED ON "THE BLESSINGS OF SEEKING GOD" FROM CHRONICLES.TIM D FAIRDALE, KY
We are ever so grateful for the time, life, teachings that David has put into our lives. I loved reading his daily devotionals because he was so transparent - he didn't hide his feelings or struggles and he let us know he was human. I loved that about him! He has left a great legacy of faith to all of us in the way he lived his life. My condulences to the family. SondraBerryYoung
My life was inspired by this man.I have a tattered old paper back of The Cross And The Switchblade that I read very often, yes I do loan it out to young people. I know that he is now with Jesus.Jean C Mn

I have been truly blessed to have received David Wilkerson's WC Pulpit Series Newsletters after moving to SC in 1985. They have been timely and inspirational to me all these years. I will miss this prophet of God and his Watchman on the Wall words to us in these newsletters. But, I know he is so happy to be with Jesus. David, we are coming soon to be with you and our Lord and Saviour, Jesus of Nazareth!
I remember as an early teen going with my sister & cousins to see one of his movies starring Pat Boone.
I pastored in Minturn, Colorado in 1979 when David Wilkerson visited our Sunday Morning worship service. He spoke briefly following the message about how a church built a wall instead of a bridge with someone who needed them. I have never forgetten that lesson. Loyd - Idaho
GOD TOOK HIS "SIDE KICK" AND LEFT A TRILLION FAMILY MEMBERS..... ALL OVER THE ENTIRE PLANET EARTH ... WE WILL ALL BE TOGETHER IN HEAVEN SAY HELLO TO JULIA J, KIM T,VICKI B AMEN...................................
David Wilkerson was truely a man of God. I pray and hope for comfort for his family during their moarning for their loved one.
Only God knows how many minister's lives were influenced by the uncompromising words spoken and written over the years by Brother Wilkerson. From the day of my salvation experience in 1974 until today, I have read his books and devotionals. David Wilkerson lived a truly self-less life of service to humanity. As God so loved all the people of this world, so did David Wilkerson.
Rev. David Wilkerson was the father of my daughter-in-law, Bonnie Wilkerson Hayslip, wife of my son, Roger Hayslip. I am so fortunate to have know him in a little more personal way, having been with him and his wife, Gwen, many times in Bonnie and Roger's home, as well as their own home. He was certainly a blessing to me and my family. This world will miss such a great man of God who blessed so many people around the world. He has received his reward and is now rejoicing around the throne of God today!! My condolences go out to the whole family. Love and Blessings to you, Evelyn B. Hayslip
Rev Wilkerson was truly a man of God, fully persuaded and committed to all that God called him to. I pray the knowledge that he is in the arms of his Savior Jesus Christ will comfort Gwen & his family, his church family, & all those around world whose lives he touched. God surround you with His peace and precious Presence.
We came to his church in 9/11....to help...what a work of God...we pastor the same kind of church in West Sacramento CA...God Bless...Praying for the family Pastor Coco and Lynn Perez
OH WHAT A SERVANT HE WAS,HE CAME TO FT WAYNE,INDIANA. AND BROUGHT NICKI CRUZ WITH HIM, AND IT WAS POWERFUL,I READ THE CROSS AND THE SWITCHBLADE, SO MANY TIMES I HAD TO BUY 3 BOOKS BECAUSE I WAS WEARING THEM OUT.GOD BLESS HIS FAMILY, HIS WORK IS DONE AND NOW HE IS WITH HIS HEAVENLY FATHER.REST IN PEACE TILL WE ALL MEET AGAIN.
Our prayers and condolences goes out to the Wilkerson family. I have followed his ministry since 1976. Rejoicing that his life has touched many lives. May his mantle and anointing continue. May God give you the comfort in this time of need.
He was a great servent of the Lord....well done Rev. David.
God bless the Wilkerson family and all who knew Rev. Wilkerson personally. May God comfort you and keep you strong in faith and confidence as Bro. W. taught, and may ALL who have been touched and changed by this ministry be faithful to carry the torch forward.
Billy Graham gave me the comfort of salvation- David Wilkerson gave me direction- Gods voice, when I didn't know what was going on or what to do about it. I could only hope that his message will ring louder now that he is gone. God bless the family that stood with him through his life and now inherits his legacy, the compassionate and direct gospel he lived. Thank you.
May the Lord help you and comfort you in this time of sorrow! You are in our prayers. Jimmy & Lenete
steve shelton-truly a man of God
I will never forget the kindness of David and Gwen Wilkerson to our dear friends Pastor Wayne and Mona Snyder. Pastor Wayne had brain cancer in his 40's-such a precious man. David Wilkerson reached out to them in so many ways. We feel so sad about his leaving so soon, and about Gwen's situation, but his sermons ring true and will continue. God has a plan. Love to you all. Fred and Mary Beth Peirce Spring Tex (formerly of Midland, Texas).
david wilkerson will be greatly missed. my husband and i classified him as a modern day prophet and always looked forward to his newletters which were alway right on time. our condolences to his family. wish there was mnore that we could do for them, but just know that you are all in our prayers. larry & audrey goodman
David was a humble man of God--never seeking the limelight. He has inspired me since the "Cross and the Switchblade" with his monthly sermons (received by mail). I believe rather than many dollars being spent on flowers, he would prefer gifts
to his ministry World Challenge.
I first met David Wilkerson when I was a Freshman at Van High school. He came to speak to us about Teen Challenge, He had a young man with him that day that told a story about his troubles in life, he was'nt much older than I was so the things he spoke of were pretty close to home . I was so touched by this, that,. I started to look at things differently especially people, and my reaction to them and them to me, from that point on, I always tried to feel how another person would in my own heart first before I said something mean or hateful, and when this was done to me I would again think about what made this happen and it always went back to something I heard that day" You cant ever tell what is on a persons heart or soul by looking at them, reach out with love and kindness even if you receive anger and rejection, keep reaching out soon it will become love." THANKS DAVID!!! GOD BLESS. Peace be with your family. Candy Smith
Heartfelt love and sympathy to David's family and congregation. He was a truly Godly man. KNOW HE IS WITH THE LORD. Marion and Bob Meeks, Bolivar, Missouri
Dear Sister Gwen and Family,
My heartfelt thoughts and prayers are with you as you grieve the parting of your husband, father and grandfather. I know you've made many personal sacrafices for his life's calling and ministry, and now as you are making the ultimate sacrafice of giving him to the Lord, I pray that you will be surrounded and comforted by God's loving presence and grace.
I also celebrate with you Bro. Dave's life of ministry and total surrender to the Lord. What an extraordinary example of faithfulness to God His life has been! "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to HIS purpose." (Romans 8:28)
Blessings to you.
Can'y wait to meet him in Heaven! He was a great man!
Our hearts are saddened at the sudden home going of "Brother Dave". We know that it is temporary because Jesus said, "he is not dead, just asleep". Our prayer is now for Gwen and the family. May HIS peace be yours in the coming days -- until we see Jesus!
Another Watchman in our heavenly Father's Presence. His Legacy will forever be remembered in our hearts.
God has called several servants home over the past few years.
We lost Col. R.B. Thieme Jr. in 2009
(Berachah Church, Houston Tx.),

God is gathering His Children.

My prayers are with the family of Rev. Wilkerson. His book, The Cross & the Switchblade, was among the best that I've ever read & was a great inspiration to me.
I am also grieving over the passing of Bro. Dave Wilkerson. He was a true evangelical leader that brought healing and hope to multiplied thousands of hurting people. I was privilged to be in one of his services in Chattanooga , TN while attending college. A true inspiration, a blessing, and true man of God, now goes to his long awaited reward! Praise God for this life!

David Wilkerson was in Midland,TX in the 70's touch may lifes.
God Bless. Christine O
David Wilkerson was an inspiration to me through the sermons I received in the mail. It was ALWAYS something that I needed to hear at the particular time. He was a true example of a humble servant of God, telling us what he had heard from God that we needed to know whether it was comfortable to hear or not, never complaining about the losses in his life, but always offering hope and encouragement to others. My deepest sympathy and prayers go out to his wife and family. They can truly be proud of being a part of him. I will miss his sermons that were often the highlight of my day and will treasure the ones that I have kept. Times Square Church is a testament to all that he did to serve the Lord. I was only there once on a visit to NYC but the presence of the Lord was so strong that I couldn't stop weeping. Just think of the people he reached through that beautiful church. Carolyn Coile, Columbus, GA
What a great loss to the Body...his messages will truly be missed...his ministry changed our lives...he always had an on-time word from The Lord...
A true prophet has gone to be with Jesus. His ministry was very prevalent when I was a teen in the 60's when I was involved with drugsm alcohol and sexual sin. Thank you Pastor Wilkerson for being so faithful to your calling. Thank you Wilkerson family for allowing Pastor Wilkerson to be true to his ministry that the Father called him to. His writings were so encouaging to my wife and myself over the last three decades, if not longer. Mat God be with you all during your time of greif.
I am very saddened by the news of Rev Wilkerson's passing.I received his daily teachings via e-mail everyday and was so encouraged by them. He was in my opinion, one of the most powerful evagelists ever.He did run the race well.God is now saying to him "Well done thou good and faithful servant ! " He has really blessed my live.My prayers are with his dear family, but we celebrate
as he is now with our Lord.
Over 35 years ago I went with a youth group to hear Rev. Wilkerson speak. There were no seats left in the large high school gym, so we had to sit and listen to his message from the Lord in a school theater auditorium. But after the altar call, he brought the new salvations into to that auditorium, up front, and I watched as teenagers threw out bags of weed and pills, syringes, and more. I witnessed first hand the transforming power of God and I was never the same. I would have missed it if I had sat in the gym. Thank you for fulfilling your call, Rev. Wilkerson, and God comfort greatly the loved ones who are celebrating and mourning his crossing over to Heaven.
My family and I thank God for Paster Dave's faithfulness and commitment to all God asked of him. I have read all of David Wilkerson's books and looked forward to his monthly printed messages for years. All Pastor Dave words were SPIRITUAL FOOD that influenced and convicted, always drawing you closer to God. Pastor David's journey on earth is complete, God has called him home, welcoming him with HIS outstretched arms......"WELL DONE MY FAITHFUL SERVANT." May God comfort his entire family at this difficult time as only HE can. This I am sure of: Every part of Pastor Dave's ministry will influence endless people around the world for years to come!
You have been a strong instrument in the hand of the Lord," Well done my faithful servant." Thank you for your sacrifices, and all you have done for the downtrodden and those living without hope.
Many times I would receive his tri-weekly sermon and not read it right away, but just lay it aside. Then maybe a few days or even weeks later I would be walking through the house, dealing with a challenge in my personal life, and look down and see the onopened letter-sermon from Pastor Wilkerson, open and read it and it would many times be just what I needed for that hour. Thank you God for David Wilkersons devoted life to You.
My life was changed after reading his book, The Cross and the Switchblade. He lived a life of commitment for Jesus and certainly was used by God to change many lives - a faithful servant and blessing to many.
I received, for years, and read Bro. Wilkerson's newsletters. There has been many times when it seemed he had a 'Word' just for me from God, times when I was just past being able to pray for myself. I am so sorry for his family's loss and everyone here who benifited from his ministry but i rejoice for him , his race is finished, his battle won, he is reaping his reward for years of service to God.I cried when i heard of his death, but it was for all of us I think, he is with his Lord. Bless all of you, his family, please keep up his work, the work of the one and only true God.
I have believed in him and his ministry since the 70's. I looked forward every month to receiving his Pulpet Series newsletter. They were always such a blessing to me. I knew without a doubt, he was a great man of God...I pray God's richest blessings of comfort and healing to his family.
There are not many men around who preach such an uncompromising biblical truth. His urgent call to a serious faith and a right standing with God in this day of apostasy is what I will remember and appreciate the most. The church will miss him more than she knows.

Rev. Wilkerson fought a good fight, kept the faith and finished his course well and has gone up to recieve his eternal rewards for his labors, furthering God's eternal Kingdom, ministering to the counsel of God for his generation. I am sure, he will hear the words from the Master, "Well done, you good and faithful servant, enter into My Father's rest". What a role model of Christian ministry! We will miss him.

What an amazing life he had serving the Lord. How blessed we all were by his life,
I was honored to work with Teen Challenge in Sweden and Lebanon in the mid 80s. Pastor Wilkerson's life has touched SO MANY people around the world. Although I never met him personally, he had a great influence on my life. He has embraced what we can only see from a distance....we will miss him.
I was an admirer of David Wilkerson. I am 76 years old and when I was raising my teenage children (4), I bought his book and they, along with myself read it. It was a wonderful, inspiring book. He has certainly been a faithful and dedicated servant of God. I know he is resting in peace. My prayers go out to the family.

How we will miss your fearless preaching. Your preaching reminds me of the saying...Don't put a question mark where God put a period. So few preachers lead the sheep down Gods narrow path. You will be sorely missed. I hope that we can have your teachings put in BOOK FORM. Would be a huge Blessing for the dark days coming.See you soon.
I am sorry to hear this news about David Wilkerson. Though we celebrate his being with the savior Himself now, we mourn the loss of a wonderful brother in Christ. I have listened online to his sermons and received his newsletters for years. They have ALWAYS been an encouragement to me. I have several I have reread many times. They are timeless messages full of godly encouragement, reminders to live a holy life dedicated to Christ. I have grown up being encouraged by him. May all who have been touched by him carry on his legacy of leading the lost to Christ and the redeemed to love, holiness and service. I am grateful as well for his family, a great source of support to him... and to us! May the Lord Jesus Christ bless and comfort all those who mourn. He will be greatly missed!
I am forever grateful to the Lord for blessing us with such a man of God as Bro. Wilkerson. I remember well his being with us at the International Christian Embassy Celebration of the Feast of Tabernacles several years ago. What a blessing he was to us! May the Lord bless his memory and continue to bless the seeds Bro. Wilkerson planted in the Kingdom's harvest fields. May He grant comfort and peace to the Wilkerson family and heal Mrs. Wilkerson's body and heart completely.
I am blessed to have read his book and see the movie about his life helping others. I did not realize he also founded Teen Challenge. I heard about his accident on Christian radio 103.3 FM in Cleveland, ohio. I am hoping that my son can go to this program in leu of prison for addictions. We are so sorry for your loss. I am looking forward to seeing him in heaven. Love and prayer's, Denise
I'm so glad that he was able to start such a powerful ministry! He will ever be remembered and I know God has said, "Well done, good and faithful servant! Be blessed and I'll be thinking of his family.
Heaven rejoices in the son who has come home, but here he will be sadly missed. God bless you always, Pastor Wilkerson! Your books have helped my family stay on the straight and narrow!
Brother Wilkerson and his first book were
such a blessing to me just after my conversion.
God used our Brother's message to change my thinking and life. Made me a testifying disciple of Jesus Christ. Serving Him in Europe, South America,North America and Africa.
I thank God for His servant David Wilkerson.
In Faith we bring his dear wife Gwen and the children in front of Father's Throne.
We also pray for you.

Only heaven will reveal how many lives were changed and saved because of the obedience of this one man!
We will all miss the old prophet who was only 79! Our hearts go out to Gwen and the family. God bless you and keep you in your hours of sorrow and grief!
Saudades...
Your husbands book Cross and the Switchblade had a profound effect on me . When I read it as a teenager it put such a bitter taste in my mouth that i never wanted toeven try drugs of any kind.i hate that drugs are in our society. Thank you Dr. Wilkerson for writing the book. To his family you have my deepest sympathy.
We have lost a true prophet of God. We can rejoice that he is now with His Master, Creator, Jesus Christ. Let us admonish the Church and weep for the sinners. Let us battle in our prayer closets and shout the wonderful news of the gospel to bring glory and honor of the Lord God.
I am so saddened and shocked as many are at the loss of Pastor David Wilkerson.
I had hoped to attend Time Square Church and hear this great man of God preach from that pulpit.
Our prayers and sentiments go out to the Wilkerson family.
The world has indeed lost a great and mighty watchman on the walls of our great nation and our world.
KATHY A. RAINES
There appears such a emptiness in the spiritual world of Christians at this point. Pastor Wilkerson was truly our "Watchman on the Wall" and he will be truly missed. If he could say anything to us now, I believe it would be "look up for your redemption drawth nigh". May his family and church find peace in knowing that he is just where we all want to be - with Christ. God bless.
Rev. David Wilkerson touched many lives without even knowing. Many who have seen the movie and/or have read the book "The Cross and the Switchblade" have forever been changed. As a young girl, I met Rev. Wilkerson back when his book had just been published. It was through him that at that young age I felt the call to help others the way he did. Bro. Wilkerson, we will see you in heaven!
What an inspiration to me and my family. Your strong conviction, to live right for God. Thank you. Pastor Gilbert Cervera Jr. (San Antonio, TX)
I have enjoyed Davids Teachings for years God Bless his Wife and Family. We are Praying for you..
Brother Wilkerson was such a blessing to my husband and I. We are so sorry for your loss, but we are rejoicing in his homecoming. There is no doubt he is dancing on the streets of gold. He was a precious man with incredible insight. Our prayers are with his wife Gwen and his children and grandchildren. What a legacy he has left. We are praying for God's mercy and grace during this difficult time.
I would be dead and in hell! If it wasn't for the obedience of Pastor Wilkerson when he founded Teen Challenge.
As a graduate of Teen Challenge of 15 years. My life was forever changed as they led me to the one who heals and forgives "The Lord Jesus Christ"
Pastor Wilkerson's life effected hundreds of thousands of men, women and children! Now he is where all of us yearn to be! With the Creator and Savior! Well done!
He was a True Man of God if i ever heard one. we use to get his news letters and they was right on target, such a lost in the body of Christ, we wonder why but only God knows why he called this great Man home from labor to Reward, we say to his family be strong in the Lord and in the Power of His Might and know onething that he is in a better place, God is the one that called him home.
America has lost a great man of God! His sermons, newsletters & devotionals will be greatly missed, they ministered to so many in so many ways. He truely was a faithful servant. My thoughts & prayers are with his family, I cannot imagine your loss, I feel it and never met him! Praise God He is with his Lord and your family has that hope!
David Wilkerson was the featured speaker at a crusade I attended as a teen in the '70's. I thank God for his life because I was saved as a result of his testimony and incredible faith.
I look forward to meeting Rev Wilkerson in heaven someday!
All those years of perseverance when it didn't appear that any fruit was being yielded, and the work was life threatening...look at what God has yielded this man's labor and faith. If Teen Challenge were not enough by being thoroughly blessed with success worldwide, God has blessed NYC's Time Square with a church and has since cleaned up that whole area of the sin that was once there. God has used mightily the faith and voice of David Wilkerson. It grieves me deeply that I won't have the luxury of his monthly sermons, but I know he's where the Lord has called him, to rest, where he can finally be in the presence of the One he has loved and done all for. God bless David's family, you'll see him on the other side.
In 1971 in Illinois I attended a meeting of David’s during a hard time in my life. During this same time I was coming to the realization that Christ wanted to be personal in my life. From the early 70’s until the present I have received the printed messages David Wilkerson sent out. More times than I can even count, they spoke hope, peace and encouragement to my life, even Holy Spirit correction when I needed that.
I am grateful for his life spent for the Body of Christ.
May the Peace of Christ surround you in the days ahead.
a landmark servant of CHRIST!!! his rewards will be many and well deserved!!! the teen challenge centers are, alone, testimony to his faithfulness to the ONE that called him. ......patricia bell--baton rouge,la.
Rev. David Wilkerson's book "The Cross and the Switchblade", made a great impact on my life. I'll never forget the various incidents that happened in the book. He was truly a faithfull servant of God. I pray that God will give them peace and much love at this time.
Marie Ponton (Port Orchard, WA)
I am saddened by this news. I gave my life to God 39 years ago, after reading the book "Two a penny", and then seeing the free movie at the theater. I have never forgotten this gift. God be with your family.
As Pastors my dh & I have been greatly impacted by Bro. Wilkson's life. We considered him 'our pastor'. We are praying for the family, ministry and close friends who are missing him presently. Also, lifting up sis. Gwen.
Gwen, Gary and family: I have been thinking of you all day and night and want you to know he ran the race and won. He is now where he longed to be, with Jesus his savior. The road wont be easy for you Gwen but may the peace that passeth all be yours and the family. I love you all so much and for all the things you have done to better my life. God bless and keep you. Your friend in Yuma Jackie Van
"The Cross and the Switchblade"...................one movie I will now go watch
I am saddened at the loss of a man that has never backed down from the truth...the Word of God, and had a sincere compassion for souls...David Wilkerson. From my youth when he came to speak at our conventions, until my last devotional this past week, I saw a man who left a message..."Therefore, I have set my face like a flint, And I know that I will not be ashamed." (Isaiah 50:7)
A great man of GOD. I was saved at a Nicky Cruz crusade in Albuquerque New Mexico in 1973. Thanks to his saving message to Nicky I came to Jesus. He will have many jewels on his crown in heaven.
Blessed are the feet of he who bring good news. Your newsletters were life to me. There hasn't yet been one printed that has such an anointing on it. You taught the uncompromised Word of God and we all benefited from the righteousness you taught to us while you were here, now heaven rejoices as they receive you. We will miss you! But we'll see you on the other side. Denise Paul/Pensacola, Fl.
"Thank you Lord for the life and service of Pastor David Wilkerson. His legacy has touched many lives for the glory of God and his lifesong will continue to be sung through those having ears to hear."
He was truly a man after God's on heart. He with the Lords leading has caused many of lost souls to come to know Jesus personally. We recieve his newsletters and there is always something to read that helps us thru our situations, Bless his family Lord and continue to use them for your service. David Wilkerson was a true servant of GOD!!P&R Hobbs, Ovilla,Tx.
David Wilkerson will be greatly missed. He is one you could know would speak the truth and speak Gods word with out comprise! I've been receiving his news letters since the late 70's and they always had answers for me. I am so sorry for your loss and I pray the precious Holy Ghost to comfort you and give you the peace that truly passes understanding. This world has truly lost a true man of God,but Heaven has gained and welcomed a child of God home!
May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.
David Wilkerson's ministry has touched my life in many ways. He was one of the most dynamic upfront in your face preachers of our day. He had such a heart of compassion for hurting people. Over the past year I started receiving his daily devotionals through email. They have been such a blessing. May God's comfort and Peace be with the family and the Church Family of Times Square Church in NYC.
Such a real man of God. Who served Our Lord faithfully. The many crowns he has given our Lord. May all know that our prayers and love extend to his family and friends.
I am so sorry to hear this news. Rev Wilkerson did a great work for our Lord and led many to Christ. Well done good and faithful servant.
I saw him when I was young in Cincinnati, Ohio. I read the cross and the swicthblade. He went through some amazing times. It is a big loss for earth, and I know Jesus welcomed him with open arms. He will be missed. I pray in jesus name, that we will see him again in peace and joy.
David Wilkerson's letters and sermons have meant so much to me over the years. the words that he wrote always seemed to be just what I needed. I will miss him even though I never met him in person, I felt that he was a spiritual leader for me.
The Cross And The Switchblade had and continues to have a profound impact and influence on those of us that were teens in the 60s and 70s. Thank you David for your committment and caring then and now. Rest well" Thou good and faithful servant enter into the joy of the Lord" Les steele Cooleemee nc
My gratitude to the Lord for his life, and in the next... (He sees 'her' again!) His life and ministry made a eternal impact on my Christian walk and with my relationship with our Lord. I reread some of the Times Square Newsletters, as The Message never gets old. And, thank YOU for your service, while working along side of him. Blessings to you, your family and the Whole Family, in Jesus' Name...
I was saved at one of Rev. Wilkerson's crusades in the Chicago, Illinois area (Stone Church) over 40 years ago. I went to the meetings because I was curious about the author of the book "the Cross and the Switchblade." My family has continued to follow the World Challenge ministry and have come to depend on the Pulpit Series sermons for much of our spiritual support. David Wilkerson was one of the few national spiritual leaders who could be trusted. I am thankful to God for his and his family's commitment to Christ. Although his vision of ministry will continue, there will be a feeling of loss in our hearts and for the church at large.
Our prayers are with the family & friends. He was a prophet that God used for His glory. As a former director of Teen Challenge, he was a great spiritual inspiration to me in many ways. His focus was always on Christ and Christ alone!
To God br the glory!
Our Lord used Pastor Dave to strengthen my faith during a crusade back in 1982; and throughout these 30 years of this new life in Christ. I thank the Lord for keeping him.
Reading of his mission touched my heart and my life as a youngster. The Cross and the Switchblade brought to me that initial realization of the need to dedicate our lives to helping others. The world is a better place because he was here. May we all pray that can be said of each of us.
Tribute to a man who touched so many lives.Without him I would have never met my husband who graduated from Teen Challenge.I pray his legacy will continue.
I heard Brother Wilkerson preach many years ago. He was a great man of God. His sermon lasted 3 hrs., but it seemed like only minutes. It went by so fast because of the anointing. My sincere sympathy goes out to the family, along with my prayers. He is with his Saviour now, and what more can we ask than that.
So sorrry to hear about the loss of your loved one. You will remain in my prayers. The Lord be with you in the days ahead until you meet again.
God Bless David Wilkerson's family. I first learned of Pastor Dave's ministry in Sumter, S.C. What a great man. His Love for Jesus changed my life. I wish everyone could see The Cross L.Storms l.
David Wilkerson had a heart for the lost and addicted. God used him in a very powerful way. I know his reward in heaven is to meet the many whose lives he touch. Rosie loved you and contributed to your ministry on a regular bases. Please tell her hello for me-she is in heaven too! God bless your family with the knowledge and hope Christians share-one day we will all be together again. Raise up someone to fill his shoes Lord-as difficult as that may be-this is my prayer.
I saw him preach at SFA many years ago and I also go to visit the Times Square Church...a great man of God...
I have a wonderful 8x10 photograph of Pastor Dave and me from "Celebrate" that is close to my heart...thank you Pastor Dave for your ministry...
I do not know where to begin, I was told a few hours ago over dinner in a restaurant that my SPIRITUAL MENTOR had died. I froze for a few seconds in shock, then my spirit quieted down, and God showed me a vision of Pastor Dave & Jesus sitting at a round table in heaven. I asked God what did that mean? He said Jesus was showing David all those of us, and I say humbly and with great difficulty as tears swell in my eyes the truth of something he never knew down here on earth. Jesus was showing him how many of us that have the gift of Prophecy studied under him, he had no idea how many of us out here looked at him as one of the top Prophets out here. I asked God now what do we do he is with you? THE HOLY SPIRIT SAID "lean on me with your all totally now", I said ok dear sweet Lord....Yes my #1 Spiritual mentor is now enjoying the presence of the Lord in sweet victory for all he did down here for Christ. We must go out now as God's soldiers we are and do what one of the best examples of living for Jesus did with his life on earth for the Gospel of Jesus Christ, amen! Gwen I will pray God's healing power on you now, for it will not be easy to carry on without your beloved, someday soon you will join David, for now God still has some work for you to do before that day takes place for you.....May all of us heal at this tough time we are enduring, and remember Pastor Dave would want all the glory to go to God, yes Jesus Pastor Dave is now with you, where we all want to be someday soon! God bless us all in our Lord Jesus's holy, holy name, amen!
While I do not remember that Bro. Wilderson and I ever met in person, I have been a comrad with him in his stand against the modernizing of our Pentecostal movement. I have read many of his monthly letters and considered him a real prophet of these last days. May God's blessing continue with the Tmes Square church, his family, and many facets of the ministry. What a jubilee welcome he got when he stepped ashore in glory - Dr. Russell K. Pier, founder of Faith School of Theology.
The world is a better place because of his committment to the
We who followed his work are richer due to his testimony & work with those who needed deliverance from addiction......
God bless his family with the "peace that passes understanding"...

My heart goes out to David's family and all those who have known the pasion David had for the truth. I have followed David's teaching for 37 years and read his books. The church has lost a fearless voice of her conscience. May the Lord comfort us all as He welcomes David home.Artiel Nhema UK
I am deeply saddened by the loss of David Wilkerson. I looked forward every

always be right on it. He will be missed greatly. My prayers are with the family
We want to convey our deepest condolences to David Wilkerson's family , we sorry for your loss . Irina , Natasha and Sasha from Israel .
My heart goes out to the family of Rev. Wilkerson at the loss of a wonderful role model for so many young people. Years ago I chose his book as a class reading assignment for sophomore English students . Although they were from a small town setting with only a passing knowledge of the struggles and roadblocks he encountered, his long awaited successes were truly an inspiration to one and all. I am thankful for the positive and memorable impact he was able to convey so long ago.
I learned of David through the first book i read outside of school called run baby run, I am sorry to hear of his death, James
We want to convey our deepest condolences to David Wilkerson's family and feel sorry for your loss . Irina , Natasha and Alex .
My Mother, at ninety years of age, looked
forward to reading Rev. Wilkerson's monthly news letter. She is in Heaven, too; and now she will get to meet him.
To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. He has pressed toward that final prize, and won. My deepest expressing of sympathy is for those left to miss him in their daily lives.
I received Rev. Wilkerson's devotionals, daily, via email and so looked forward to them. A great believer and complete servant of the Lord. I know that he is with Jesus, but oh how we needed, and still do, this bold voice of The Spirit of Truth in the earth. He will be missed. My prayers go out to his family. God's Peace and Comfort over you!
MY HUSBAND AND I LIVE IN URBANA,ILLINOIS AND WE WERE GETTING LETTERS FROM HIM ALWAYS. HE WAS VERY MUCH INDEED A MAN SENT BY GOD TO PROCLAIM THE GOOD NEWS OF JESUS CHRIST. To Pastor Dave's Family
I am a Savanniah who moved to New York City a few years ago. Because my son Duane faithfully attends the Times Square Church here, I attend. Under Pastor Dave's ministry, we continue to grow in grace. We found sincere serving missions all over the world.I am going on my first mission trip to TSC Hope Inn's in Alabama to help single mothers and children, soon. We are proud to be a part of a mission church. It's not about us.It's about serving others. We will never forget Pastor Dave's visions and actions was not about titles and praising him, but he was about providing welfare for so many all over the world.

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.
Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."
It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.
God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.
When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.
I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.
There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.
If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.
So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.
And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

God bleesyou brother see you whith jesus, our lovely jesus, thanks for everything and for tobe an example for me, from Mexico
He touched so many lives! He lived his faith! A true man of God. For his family and friends....faith, hope and love. Take comfort in knowing where he is and whom he is with!
I received a copy of Dave Wilkerson's book, "...Cross and the Switchblade" in high school (I'm in my 50s now). His works have touched and changed so many lives. May God bless his memories and his family. The church (and the world) has suffered a great loss. But Rev. Wilkerson is with the Lord now. My condolences are with the Wilkerson family, as my love, thoughts and prayers are with you. Blessings.
He was a wonderful man of God and led many souls to Christ. He sought out those forgotten by the traditional church. I am very sad to hear of his death, but look forward to meeting him in heaven.
I am so sorry to hear this. I was just talking about him to a younger friend of mine last week and now find this out... I really appreciated his work and the things he did to help people, He left a Legacy! So so sad, I had always wished I could meet him sisnce I was a teenager, and saw the movie "The Cross and the Switchblade" I was amazed at what he did with those gang members, and I got to see him and hear him tell of his life and about how David Wilkerson had helped him, in person! It still amazes me...He will be missed and his work will live on! He was a wonderful and brave soldier for God! Bless his family God, and the people who loved him also, and be with them in their grief, comforting them. Let his testimony live on and let it touch many more even as it did when he was on this earth, Thank you Jesus! Amen!
I have to say he ran his race well..His sermons came in the mail and they were exactly what I needed to hear at that appointed time..I will miss his devotions and the Word that he brought to us by the anointing..I have to say I am glad he has made it home because I know that was his goal..In his last sermon I received in the mail he talked of his hardships but how we can endure..We have to keep on just as our Brother David did and when our time comes, let's be ready to meet him in Glory..
David was loved by me because he defined Christ and where the value of Christ is. It was through a ministry like Teen Challange that I got save by. One man for God,giving his heart, following his call is what Gog has called himfor, is I learned from Dave. For us this tragic because we miss him ,but his joy is full,God's love complete and the trials are over. May God bless all of us with complete love, joy and peace that David now knows and has for a moment. And continue to run the race God has given uss.
May you have the hand of God with you during this trying time.
I rec'd Bro David newsletters and signed up so many of my friends & we still share these letters today. He was an awesome man of God who stood for the gospel. He was a good example of how a believer should live on earth. My prayers are to the family. We will always cherish the fact that his life in Christ showed me a more perfect way to live.
I send my condolences to the Wilkerson family on the loss of David Wilkerson. He was an amazing man and author. He is now with the God he so diligently served. His work will never be forgotten. Alot of people came to know the loving God because of his love for God.
We are very sorry to hear of the passing of Rev. Wilkerson. He was a real prophet of God. We listened when David Wilkerson spoke. We had lots of confidence in him.
We will be praying for his family and the other ministries he had organized.
Extending sympathy to the family. Read his books as a teenager. Very influential to a young child. May God Bless!!
Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints. Psalm 116: 15 We have lost yet another great man of God.and for this I am sad, but I know he is with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He has been such an encouragement to me for many years. Thank you God for the life he lived and for the great love he had for others. May God Bless David's family and turn their mourning into Joy. Jeremiah 31:13 Mary Foster ( Salisbury,NC)
In 1992 I was diagnosed with cancer. As a Christian, I knew GOD was in control of my life...and my future...but the diagnosis will knock you right off your feet and it did with me. At times my faith was trong...and others as if a blanket of grief was put over me. On a Saturday night just before my surgery...I had one of those 'blanket' nights and I went downstairs and picked up Rev Wilkersons' newsletters and began reading about Shadrach, Meschach and Obindigo and how they were thrown into the fiery furnace. But there was another discovered in that fiery furnace with them...it was GOD! And when they emerged from that furnace there was not a hint of smoke on them...not a scar...not a burn...GOD was in that furnace protecting them. In the small voice in my spirit GOD confirmed to me...that HE...too was with me...and was going with me into that furnace and not to worry I would come out without the smell of smoke on me. I had my surgery and the problem area was removed...and after pathology was done...it was determined that no cancer remained...no smell of smoke on me and I have never, ever had another bout since then. GOD was my provision...and Rev Wilkerson's newsletter were words of encouragement as GOD spoke to me...personally...through them! I know that he is with GOD...and that on that day...when he stands before GOD...there will be millions like me that were touched by his faithfulness. I pray GOD's grace upon his family as they lay his mortal remains to rest...to await that day when the sky shall open and we shall rise to meet HIM!
Bro. Wilkerson's books and monthly letters of ministry has touched & blessed my life. I truly believe his is with his Lord & Savior today. May God bless his wife and children.
I loved David Wilkerson who blew me away when he delivered the message called The Vision in Minneapolis at the Lutheran Charismatic Convention some time in the early to mid seventies.
My wife and I consider Times Square Church to be our home church when we are in NYC. and what a blessing it is to us thanks to bro. Wilkerson.
I contribute a lot of my early years of being Born Again to the teachings of The Pulpit. I was an addict and his ministry really touched my heart. He was an amazing Man of God.
I seen David Wilkerson and Nicki Crews in momouth Ill years ago when Teen challenge was still around. loved reading his books as well as his pulpit ministries pamplets. He was a true Prophet of God. Another Soldier gone home to come back with our Lord And Savior
There is a spiritual void left on this earth. We could trust the spoken word of David Wilkerson. May God meet all family needs and bless your future.
iam sorry to hear about this my prays with the familly and all love you all. jesus be with you always.
Words can never express the gratitude I have for the ministry of David Wilkerson. Reading his monthly newsletter always encouraged me to continue to trust our Father. "Thou he slay me I will trust him." I knew that no matter what my circumstances are He is to be trusted. That is the message that I learned from David Wilkerson. He was an example of unwaivering faith and humility. I am rejoicing knowing he is with Him.
I feel a voice crying in the wilderness has been silenced. His letters were such timely messages of truth and hope. His legacy will live on in those he touched far and wide. A tremendous loss, but thankful that he was just closer to his heavenly home then his earthly one. May the love and comfort of God be poured out in great measure to his surviving family.
Judi Weatherhead (Limestone, Maine)
You have successfully finished the race...and reminded us of our commission...may we take up the baton and run with the same passion for the lost...God bless your family...Words cannot express the Love and gratitude for you...A bright shining light in the darkest night

I will miss this spiritual giant of a man, who had a heart after God's own heart. I had the privelege of not only meeting him but having him pray over me. His dedication to the Lord and to answer the call to go where others feared to go only proved that he heard from God and followed the path that was chosen for him. May God richly bless the Wilkerson family. Gary McDowell

We were saved in 1981 and later went to hear David speak at Bethel Church in San Jose, CA. We've been receiving his newsletters ever since. I've binders full of past messages. We feel as tho we've lost a brother, yet not - because the Body of Christ is not separated. Only in Christ can you truly love someone you've never known personally.
Our sincere prayers for Gwen and the family.
I grew up hearing of David Wilkerson in the early 70's when I was around 15 or so. My mom had his book the "Cross and the Switch blade",as a teenager, I loved reading that book.I also went and seen the movie that was made from the book. My mom passed away a year ago in Feb. Before her death, she continued to support David Wikerson's ministry for over the last 40 years. David Wilkerson was like a household name in our home.Me and my four sisters are saddened by David Wilkerson's passing. Although I did feel blessed, thinking of David Wilkerson and my mom rejoicing in in Heaven together.I also had friends that were helped through Teen Challenge; One of them was, and may still be, the director of the Teen Challenge in Florida.Another one met her husband at a Teen Challenge, they married and had 6 children, their dream was to have an outreach place of their own.Her husband passed away and my friend continued to persue their dream, she is now a director over The Lighthouse Ministries in Lexington KY. If it wasn't for my friend coming from Indiana to a place in Michigan called Teen Challenge; this place gave her direction and hope and I would say inspired her to reach out to others, by opening her own ministry. Just think, right here alone, just how many souls were and still will be, reached by this one girl that was helped through Teen Challenge, thanks to David Wilkerson.I think that the bible says, we will gain jewels in our crown for the souls that we led to the Lord,Well I just pictured David Wilkerson having a crown loaded down with jewels, but thats not all, I picture him having a crown just like the one I explained....Every day, through out eternity. (I am sending a photo of me,my son,my granddaughter and my sweet and precious mother that thought so much of David Wilkerson.)
I have been so blessed over the years by the Humility Of Brother Wilkerson.Truly he was one who went into the Highways and By-Ways and compelled them to come in that God's House may be full. Many sons and daughter have been brought to Glory by His outreach to New York City and beyond.I was blessed back in the early Seventies when Nicky Cruise came to Toronto to speak.Daniel 12:3 says that"they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the Firnament, and they that turn many to righteousness shall shine as the stars for ever and ever".To all of the Wilkerson Family we express our condolences and assure you we are praying for you.God Bless.Be encouraged by the Legacy of Faith left behind by Brother Wilkerson.
David Wilkerson has been a mentor of mine for years. I have grown and fallen more and more in love with Jesus as a result of Davids wisdom and his love for the Lord. He accomplished much and he will be missed more than words can express. I know that heaven is rejoicing over his arrival. Love, Bill & Marleen
My Prayers are with you all, family and collegues. I'd like to share that I was saved under David's ministry in 1965 at A David Wilkerson Teen Crusade in Pittsburg. I heard Nicky Cruz' testimony. I watch the Times Square Church's Ministry video's. David is a true testament of real faith in Jesus Christ. I will miss him.
God Bless and give you all His Strength
Our hearts go out to the family of Rev. David Wilkerson. what a awesome man of God he was, now standing in the presence on our heavenly Father. His work will go on, because God's work never stops. His books have helped millions, and millions more to come. I pray that God gives you all comfort. But rest in assurance that we will see him again. Our prayers are with you all.
It is so sad and unexpected death but he has been called home to be with Jesus. I have read his book and saw the movie which I had to write a book report in my school days. It was a very good source and educational material to read. I wish all young people will read this book and they will learn from it. I did and I am member of The Salvation Army for over 36 years. I am local officer, soldier, teaching young people and preaching to people when I am needed. I will be preaching this Sunday 5/1/11 on the message of "Message of the Cross". He will be miss and my prayers are with his family and friends. May God bless you all.
Met him briefly a long, long time ago. He came and spoke in our church in Uvalde, where my dad was pastoring. (Rev. Alfred J. Sisley). My dad has passed, too, and so I understand the grief and pain of the family. However, I know he is in heaven being rewarded for all the wonderful things he did while on this earth. I know it doesn't change the family's grief, but I will be in prayer for all of you. Take care.
While I was in prison his news letter kept my eye on the prize. His family is in my prayers and we know he is with God!!
What a loss to the church, the nation and the world! A true Prophet and a man with a message that sets those in bondage free! May God bring comfort to the family in this hour. May God raise up another voice such as David Wilkerson. Psalm 116:15
I read his newsletter so many times over the years and was so hepled and blessed by it. I read the book in my early teens and was touched by it. I pray his family has peace during this time. I am so sorry for your loss. What a wondeful servant of God...
Pastor Dave is the reason that I know my Lord and Savior the way that I do. My thoughts and prayers to his family. He will be missed.
I enjoyed his ministry so much, I still have many of his newsletters from many years ago all in a binder, that I look back and see how those things he prophesied have come to pass. Teen Challenge has also been a help to one of my nieces. My prayers are with the family. LA
very sorry for you loss siscerely , god bless your family special.
Heaven is rejoicing at the homecoming of a great man of faith. We mourn his loss among us. My deepest sympathies to his family. I believe he was truly a prophet to America and sadly many did not heed his messages during his life, perhaps they will in his death.
My family and I attended a Tuesday night service at his Times Square church during a visit to NYC and I felt like we had a glimpse of heaven as we participated in a wonderful service where the power of God was evident, the worship was genuine, the message powerful, and the prayer time was stirring as everyone from all walks of life came together to worship and cry out to God!
I read Mr. Wilkerson's book in the mid 70's, when I found it in my older brother's room. We both were active in youth groups in a very small southern town, and had not been exposed to the addictions that he spoke of in his book. His compassion, eagerness, and WANT to help addicts and gang members, led me to choose a career as a juvenile officer, and eventually a prison counselor. My faith was shaken when my brother died in a car accident (hit by a driver high on drugs) only a couple of years after reading his book. Thru my work, however, I saw glimmers of God, and eventually found my path again:)
I know we will miss Mr. Wilkerson on earth, but Heaven has gained another Angel...although I believe he already was one for many, while on earth.
God Bless him and the family during this time.
David Wilkerson--"A MAN WHO WAS FAITHFUL TO HIS CALLING"

My condolences to the family of Rev. Wilkerson. My prayer is that the Heavenly Father will send comfort to the survivors as they transition this life without him. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
I tend to want to credit Dave Wilkerson with cleaning up the streets of NYC. It's doubtful, that many realize the true impact he made on that great city.
One Friday eve while walking home from a tradeshow at the piers, I happend by a church in the theatre district and faintly heard beautiful praise music and singing of familier contemporary Christian tunes. My husband and I wandered in and enjoyed the remainder of the evening service, and decided to attend on Sunday Morning. Dave spoke that Sunday, the title of the Sermon being, A Place Called Wit's End. I ordered a printed copy of the sermon and have shared many copies with people who were in the absolute worst situations, and in every case the message brought to them the very hope their hearts were longing for and so desperately needed. One individual told me that he shared his copy with someone who then decided not to end his life in suicide. We visited Time Square Church every year when we were working our trade show and brought along many friends who were attendee's as well. They too made it part of their yearly visit to NYC.
Maybe some day Dave will realize the ongoing impact he made in the lives of so many. Well done, to a good and faithful servant. You truly blessed my life.
My sincere condolences to the family and friends of Rev. Wilkerson.
His teachings, sermons, and daily blog have helped and encouraged me in my own personal walk with the Lord. He will be missed. Rev. Wilkerson was a true and faithful minister.
May God bless and comfort you. You
are all in my prayers.
Anita Jones, Syracuse, NY
David Wilkerson was a giant of the faith. He loved Jesus with all his heart. Out of that love was birthed the ministry of Teen Challenge. I was blessed to serve as a director in Greensboro for twenty wonderful years.
You offered hope and truth to the afflicted and their famies!!
Thank you for your example of faith and hearing the Shepherds voice!
Mr Wilkerson was a wonderful mentor to so many, and his newsletters were always a blessing. My prayers go out to his family. God Bless.
Betty Petty, MI
Truly a prophet of the Lord who like John the Baptist or Jeremiah the Prophet was warning people to get right with God before it is too late. Perhaps, in death his words will be more poured over and heeded than in life. I pray people will wake up before it is too late. Our hearts go out to the Wilkerson family, especially Gwen
Our sympathy & prayers to you all. We have enjoyed many years of Bro Wilkerson's preaching & teaching & reading his books. He will be greatly missed by us all
Brother Wilkinson has certainly blessed my life.
I've been watching his vhs, dvd's, and cd's for a long time.
I will miss him so much.
My heart goes out to the Wilkinson Family.
May knowing you are in the Prayers of people all over the World, sustain you in this most trying time of your life.

What an inspiration Pastor Wilkerson has been to me with my walk with the Lord. He will truly be missed. He is in Heaven with the Lord now and one day we will all meet again....
David Wilkerson had a powerful influence on me. As a teenage girl, I read his books and was spiritually strengthened by them. I am glad that he apparently lived a full life up to his Homegoing!
Thank you so very much for your great faithfullness. So many lives have been changed and souls saved because of Teen Challenge. I know you are being shown the sites of Heaven by Jesus personally. I KNOW His first words to you were "Well done, my good and faithful servant." Enter into your rest. I pray for your ministry of Teen Challenge to continue with a greater fire than ever before.
Heaven gained, David won his victory. He did so much for youth, addicts, lost souls may the torch of his ministry carry on.

Thank you for listening and obeying the voice of the Lord and starting Teen Challenge. It is the vessel God used to transform my life, I will be forever grateful! If not for Teen Challenge and getting to know the Lord, i would probally be in jail, homeless, addicted and again I and my children will forever be greatful!I love you and we love you here at Fort Worth Teen Challenge. God Bless you Ol' Friend. I'll never forget the good times we had at the Boar's Nest.
The Cross and the Switchblade was the first Christian book I read as a teenager in the '70s. It had a great impact on my life as it opened my naive eyes to the hurting world around me AND helped me to understand the depth of God's love. Praise God for men like David. My prayers are with the family and friends.
I will miss my daily devotions with Pastor very much. My love and prayers go out to his family. He is with Jesus now.
For 22 yrs the sermons, books, and life of David Wilkerson has done more to strengthen my walk with Christ, deepen my love for His Word, embolden my dependence upon His Word, and teach me to pray than any other man on earth. I thank God for the grace shown through the life of Pastor Wilkerson. I loved him and prayed for him, his family, and his colleagues all these yrs as a natural response to all he has meant to me.
Very sadden upon hearing of the death of David Wilkerson. He was certainly a great Prophetic voice to our generation. We KNOW he is receiving a STANDING OVATION in the Courts of Heaven. Will certainly miss him greatly and send prayers to his family.
Our Sympathy & prayers go out to the Wilkerson family.
Heaven is rejoicing at the arrival of one of God's great prophets. Take your place alongside Elijah, Daniel and Isaiah. It won't be long now!
We are saddened by the loss of this Godly man. I will always cherish the e-mail he sent of encouragement and prayer when I HAD leukemia. Thank you Rev Wilkerson for your love, prayers and devotion to the Father. You will be greatly missed.
God bless and keep the family of this wonderful servant of Jesus! Praying his precious wife will be restored to good health soon. The world will cherish David's work and we know souls will continue to come to Christ as personal Savior as a result of his tremendous testimony. Love, hugs, kisses and prayers to the family.
I was pursued by the Holy Spirit after i read the cross and the switchblade. And the Holy spirit hemed me in, many years ago. I will be forever in debt to Brother David. A true Saint. Doug

David Wilkerson: IN HIS PRESENCE
RIP David Wilkerson , you are with our Lord and Savior Jesus now , we will miss you but one day see you again in Paradise and with Jesus :)
Your Sister in Christ , Sabine Marcotte.
Brother David, was living proof that to run in God's olympic, the race is not to the swift. He fought a good fight, he ran a great race and yesterday he crossed the finish line. You are already missed my brother. Our loss is heaven's gain but it still hurt so bad to say goodby. Thank you God for showing us through Brother Wilkerson, that this christian journey can be run without compromise.
Reading all these posts is an inspiration to see the many ways in which The Lord has used Rev. Wilkerson. I met him at a rally in Chicago in the 1980's and he prayed with me. I had also read and seen the movie "Cross and the Switchblade." My prayers are with Rev. Wilkerson's family and friends. May God continue to bless this ministry.
i have been so blessed by the life and heart of our brother David Wilkerson. His love, thirst, hunger, passion and never-ending pursuit to be faithful to his master -- JESUS. Never withholding to speak God's word to this generation - moving in the office of a true Prophet of God. He counted the cost with determination to endure unto the END! Again I am so blessed, thankful, and with sincere gratitude want to wholeheartedly say, "thank you Rev. David Wilkerson for giving to the Lord millions are glad you did."
At our Easter service this year we played a portion of one of Rev. Wilkerson's sermons and our church was challenged. To the very end he was touching lives of people he had never met. For that we are very grateful. To the family, may the love of God comfort you during your grief and may you find peace in knowing you will see your husband and father again one day. Heaven has truly gained an angel.
i read david wilkerson's books, the cross and the switchblade and twelve angels from hell. i've never forgotten these incredible messages and they remain with me to this day. thank you, rev. wilkerson
May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.
Thanks for sharing your hushband, father.grandfather with us i ment 3 times 3 diffent states through teen challenge, you all are in my prayers great man of GOD
David's sermons on record and book the Cross and the Switchblade really influenced my life in the early 1970s. I became a Christian in 1971 and am now serving as a United Methodist pastor in Illinois. May God continue to bless the works he founded.
Reading "The Cross and the Switchblade" was the catalyst that began my search for my Savior, Jesus Christ. Thank you, Reverend Wilkerson, for writing that book where you prove that God loves everyone, no matter what, and that salvation awaits all of us and is given only for the asking.
David Wilkerson was a positive influence in my life more than 45 years ago. I hope stories like mine and countless others will be a comfort to the family during this time.
Rev. Wilkerson's books were very influential to me when I gave my heart to the Lord in 1963. As a young christian I read every book he wrote that I could find, even "The Scarlet Purple Squish". I have admired his work and his ministry and I know he is reaping the profits of his labor. May God bless you all.
I was greatly influenced by his book "The Cross and the Switchblade," which I read as an adolescent. 40 years later, his words still affect me. We've lost a great person, but I'm sure he's with the angels in Heaven.
I was saddened to hear of Mr Wilkerson's death. While attending Adult Education I had to do a book report. Even though I was not in church at the time, I chose to do my report on the book " The Cross and the Switchblade" That story left an impact on me like no other. The teacher said that he could tell by listening to me that I was very moved by the book. God Bless the family of this very precious man. Annie in Maine
The message never changes! David Wilkerson had a passion to see those who were struggling in life be freed in Jesus. He never tired of caring for others. I was a teen when I came to Christ and I remember well going to the movies with friends from church to see "The Cross and the Switchblade". What a powerful testimony for the Lord that was lived out on the streets by this wonderful man! His unconditional love was just what Jesus wanted to show through a life well lived for the Kingdom! I rejoice with the angels today on high today for David!
To the Wilkerson family, I am so sorry for the loss of a husband and father. Rev. Wilkerson came to my church when I was 13 (40 years ago) and gave his testimony and spoke of his works. His influence carried me through life. I am a better person for knowing this man and his teachings. God has a new angel in his mist that I know he greeted with open arms. Prayers to each of you.
What a Godly man who set an example of integrity in ministry. His messages have always been timely and spoke to my heart.
Brother Dave was always a blessing to all. I know he was a real man of GOD. He was a good person to work for. He will be greatly missed. My prayers are with the family.
only in Heaven will we see all the reward
he earned and all the lives he touched.
I found and used your tape called "Why kids go wrong" of great help in my ministry. Rev. Donald Callaway KS
Back in the late 70's I worked at a juvenile detention facility in Southern California. I was in charge of recreation for 100 coeds. One of the favorite books that I brought in was "The Cross and the Switchblade" It was so popular that I obtained the movie starring Eric Estrada. The honesty of this story touched the lives of many.
May our choices each day tap into that
power that David's story talked about.
God bless this man and his family ~
Well done thy good and faithful servant.
To the Family of Pastor Wilkerson: I was shocked and saddened by the news of the passing of such a great man of God. As the financial officer of a small church on the east coast, I have received several letters of thanks from him for the semi-annual contribution our church makes to Teen Challenge. You are in my prayers. I know God will take you through these difficult times of sorrow. Be strong.
As a 2000 Graduate of Teen Challenge my life has been changed forever because of your obedience. Thank You David Wilkerson!
I will miss you.
Thank you to Gary Wilkerson for the wonderful piece in the Daily email today. It is true, “David served the purposes of God in his generation, then he died” (Acts 13:36) Only Heaven will reveal all that was accomplished for the Kingdom by this mighty warrior!
We were saddened to hear of your loss and our prayers are with you. I can only imagine the Angels rejoicing with open arms welcoming David home. God bless his family.
What mixed emotions, sad for those of us who have waited for those messages every 3 weeks, and rejoicing that he finished his race and is with our LORD. He always had a word in due season for us all. A great example for all who wanted to follow Christ. God bless the family and special blessings of recovery for you, Mrs. Wilkerson.
"This means everlasting life, their taking in knowledge of you, the only true God, and of the one whom you sent forth, Jesus Christ." (John 17:3) David Wilkerson was dedicated student and techer of the Bible and has made a huge mark on many peoples lives.May God be with the Wilkerson family and give the comfort and strength that is needed at this time.
Rev. Wilkerson's story is a wonderful testimony of an obedient servant. Thank you for anwering the call to minister to gang members.
Roger and Debbie and family, I was so sorry to hear of your loss. I know that Tiffany welcomed him in heaven with open arms. My thoughts and prayers are with you all during this time of loss, but we can all rejoice that we will see our love ones again in heaven. May the Lord gave you strenght for the coming days. Love in Christ, Joyce Mitchell, the nurse from Oakland School, where I had the wonderful priviledge to be a part of Tiffany's life in her last years.
I may have disagreed with David on some of his views, but I never doubted his heart. He loved and served God with unexelled passion. His desiire to remain faithful to God and to people in need, and his boldness in the proclamation of God's word will always be an inspiration to me.
Truly the world has lost a great man of God. My prayers are with the family and the ministry; may the Lord give comfort and direction to carry on this great work that has touched so many.
April 29, 2011 My heart was so saddened by the news of Bro. David Wilkerson's death. He has been a hero of mine since I was a young person. I have been extremely blessed by his sermons, and books. I will miss him.Praying for his family.
your book changed my life. rest in peace
You were an amazing man full of humility and love. You will be forever in the hearts of our family. Although we have never personally met you have had a big impact on our lives. We will see you in the next chapter.....
With great mixed emotions I send my prayers and condolence to the Family and Friends of Rev. Wilkerson. I loved him dearly. It is through his extended ministry I came to know the Lord personally. My Grandmother as well repented and gave her heart to the Lord, both of us the same night back in 1970's at a Nicky Cruz crusade. His love for the Lord and his faithfulness are rare to the extent that he showed though his work and his messages. I will greatly miss him as I know you will as well; I (we) know he is with Jesus and finished the course, he fought the good fight of faith!
The fellow of servants.when we where young and at school, there would always be a bully walking about. But knowing your big brother was about gave us comfort. That's what David Wilkerson meant to us.
David Wilkerson was a fine man and an awesome preacher. His crown of Glory he now wears resting at the feet of Jesus, where he has heard Well done my good and faithful servant.Rest in Jesus !
Now that I'm 60, the mother of two grown daughters and grandmother of three I appreciate more fully the book "The Cross and The Switchblade" I read as a teenager. I never was into the drug scene and that may very well be due in part to Rev. Wilkerson. I hate even the feeling I get taking prescription painkillers, and unfortunately due to some health problems I have to take them.
It's my hope that Rev. Wilkerson's wife and children see this and know just how far his book and ministry reached. Thank you Lord Jesus for the fine work this man has done in his earthly life. The total lives touched, rescued and saved may never be known.
Brother Dave was like Noah- People may not agree with this teaching but the FLOOD will come.He walked with God and he is a man of God.He is rejoicing in the Fathers presence. I attend TQC .

I SAW THE PLACARDS ALL OVER DARMSTADT, GERMANY, "DAVE IS COMING" AND HE DID! HAD JUST READ THE BOOK "THE CROSS AND THE SWITCHBLADE" AND WAS VERY EXCITED TO HEAR THIS PREACHER. WHEN HE CAME TO THE "EVANGELICAL SISTERHOOD OF MARY" IT WAS VERY POWERFUL AND HE PROPHECIED! HE SAID HE WOULD STAY ALL NIGHT AND PRAY WITH US TEENAGERS. i WENT UP. WHEN HE PRAYED HE SAID :i FEEL JESUS THERE! i NEVER DOUBTED AGAIN THAT JESUS WAS WITH ME AND THAT THIS MAN WAS A MAN OF GOD. A FEW LATERS I WENT TO HEAR HIM AT MELODYLAND, CALIFORNIA. I WENT UP AGAIN AND THERE HE SAID: i FEEL LED TO TALK TO YOU. i SHARED WITH HIM IN FRONT OF THE CROWD THAT I HAD RECEIVED JESUS A FEW YEARS EARLIER IN GERMANY, AND THAT BLESSED HIM! NOW I WAS SEEKING MORE OF THE LORD AND THE HOLY SPIRIT. Soon thereafter the whole Jesus Movement ensued, of which I became a part! What exciting times! I credit him for a vital encounter in the beginning of my life-long walk with the Lord Jesus Christ!
I was first motivated to a call to work with drug addicts through Bro. Dave's book and hearing him speak. I recognized my gift and passion though his. I have now worked for 42 years with addicts, having also begun a work for women. My wife and I first begun in ministry with the Wilkerson's in Brooklyn TC. His life definitely was definitive for mine. I am sorry for the loss Jim Isom
The Cross and the Switchblade was one of the most important books in my life. It changed my life totally. He will be missed so much. The world has lost a wonderful man, a wonderful Christian, but at least we know he will be with God. My prayers are with the family, that God will heal your hearts quickly.
I read his book, The Cross and the Switchblade, when I was in Junior High School and it truly was "real" to me. God knows best - but he will truly be missed. My prayers go out to his family - what an awesome example of Christ he was.
To the Family of Rev. Wilkerson...
I hope you find comfort in knowing, your loss is the worlds loss and we share in your sorrow however we can rest assured in knowing that where there is a sunset, there is a sunrise.
You have my deepest sympathy.
My condolences to Mrs. Wilkerson and their children. Losing a loved one is hard. Stand on God's Word, he promises that those that mourn shall be comforted. Though i never met him I was touched by the book he wrote "The Cross and the Switchblade". I'm certain he touched many lives. Your memories of him will keep him alive in your hearts. May you feel the Lord's Presence, love, and comfort now and always. Mrs. Wilkerson I pray that you will recover from injuries sustained in the accident. Once more, my heartfelt condolences.
Although I did not know him personally Rev. David Wilkerson was a part of my everyday life. He was such an amazing man of God. During the past 14 months I have been a caregiver to my best friend who passed away on 04/22/2011 from brain cancer. The devotionals that I received each day were so appropriate for our everyday situations. There were many times I printed them out for my friend so she could attempt to read along as I read them to her. Those devotionals gave us the peace that passes all understanding and ministered to many TRUTH. My spirit rejoices with the Kingdom of Heaven upon his arrival but my flesh will miss him and the wisdom God imparted to him for the Saints tremendously. Today God is collecting the tears of the Saints for the loss of an amazing servant of God. My prayer for the family is - May God our Father, Christ our Saviour, and our precious Holy Spirit comfort you and keep you safe during your time of greif.

What I remember about you was your humility. You were never caught up with titles or prestige. You loved GOD and you loved HIS people. YOU LOVED ME!!! An overzealous young woman with a passion to learn. You loved me and my son personally. And for that alone, I am forever grateful.
I love you, my brother, my friend. This world is going to miss you. Because of your investment, I will meet you there.

I never had the opportunity to meet Rev. Wilkerson, but the Cross and Switchblade was very meaningful to me. I also received his sermons each month and those that I read, were right what I needed to hear.
I almost felt like I knew Rev. Wilkerson because of my friendship with Rev. Rick Hagans who was mentored by Rev. Wilkerson. I served in Rick's ministry a couple of years and Rev. Wilkerson had a profound impact on Rick and his ministry. John Berardi, Opelika, Alabama
To the the family of Rev. David Wilkerson - May God give you peace and comfort through his word and the Lord Jesus Christ during this time of sorrow, I know that he will be missed by many.
Thank you Father for our brother David who had a heart for you and your will. David loved your Word and always had a message from you to give to your children to comfort us and bring our inner man truth from your heart to ours. We know David is with you, filled with great joy and peace. We will miss him greatly, but will see our brother again. Much love for his family. Grace that only our Father can give will be their rest. It was truly our pleasure to know Pastor David Wilkerson.
Many times through my darkest days his letters would come at the very moment I needed them. He was a great man of God and will be missed dearly. My prayers are with his family.
I remember you coming to Oak Cliff Assembly of when Rev H C Noah was pastor. God rest your soul.. May God's comfort and peace be with the family

I went to Times Square Church for 10 years and I'm so blessed to have had Pastor David Wilkerson as a part of my life. I've learned so much under his ministry. He was truly a man of God, and I know he is with Jesus whom he loved with all his heart. I will surely miss his blogs and newsletters. And I will miss him very much. :(
RIP Dave Wilkerson. Rest With Jesus.
his work on earth is done...see you soon david..God bless your family...
I have had the wonderful priviledge to read all the monthly pulpit series every month. These have been a wonderful blessing these many years! Rev. David Wilkerson will be sorely missed, he surely was one of God's great prophets forewarning us what is to come!! May God Hold all the Wilkerson Family in the Palm of His' hands giving them Peace, through this sorrowful time. I have no doubt that Rev. David Wilkerson , is now with Jesus, reaping his' rewards from his' patient industry here on earth!!
If ever there was a man of God, Bro. Wilkerson was. He will be missed. I felt he was a prophet of God. I know he is having a wonderful time in heaven!
Pastor David Wilkerson has been apart of my life for a long time spiritually and physically for the past 13 years since I relocated from the Midwest to the East Coast. He is truly a blessed man of God and I rejoice just knowing he has been spending the last day and a half in the presence of Jesus Christ. I thank God for having known him here on earth and look forward to reuniting with him in Heaven. I love you Pastor Wilkerson tremendously and see you and your spirit as I pray.
A man of God a man of the Word. A man who knew the Word of God and the God of the Word. The voice of a prophet who loved the lost and the saved. He is in the presence of Jesus.
Pastor Wilkerson was such a blessing to me in an era when many ministers preach a watered-down message. I will miss his precious words in the newsletter! My prayers are with the family and Times Square Church!
He was an amazing man who followed GOD's will for his life during uncertin times, May his vision live on in those who he ahs touched
May God continue to comfort the family and Church Family of Pastor David Wilkerson. I am deeply sadden to hear of his passing. I know that the angels welcomed him in. I did not know him personally, but I remember hearing his story on T.V. many years ago when I was a young believer. His life was a true example of sharing the Love of Jesus with others. His Life and Works will speak for him. God bless.

A true man of God. He lived what he believed as we all should.
Pastor Dave was an instrument of G-d that both challenged and inspired me to live a life dedicated unto the Lord. He is one of the last great men of this generation that has impacted our society as a voice to the nation. My prayers are with the Wilkerson family and Times Square Church.
Blessed are those that mourn, for they shall be comforted.
You will truly be missed.
At a Methodist Church Camp in the mid 1960's I was introduced to The Cross and the Switchblade. he was such an influence in my life's journey as a Christian. May he rest in peace and comfort be brought to his family.
God bless his soul, he was a good hearted man and we will all missed him.
I was truly touched by the prophetic words of Pastor David Wilkerson. He was a true man of God with so much wisdom and a beautiful humble heart. I held on to one of his prophetic promises, prayed earnestly, and a true miracle of God happened for my daughter and I through his words. His leaflet still hangs in my cupboard 6 years after as a constant reminder that God is faithful and cares about all the details of our lives. He will be missed. I have saved many of his mailings and passed many on to non-believers. He now joins my mom, dad and all God's own in the glorious place Jesus has reserved for his little lambs. He will live on eternally and here on earth in so many ways!
I remember reading "The Cross and the Switchblade" as an adolescent and it profoundly touched my life. I know you will all miss him but I'm also sure that you know you'll see him again and share eternity with him. May God Bless and Comfort You, Dawn Filholm
I have supported Rev. Wilkerson's work for many years as he truly had a heart to change people's lives. Great rewards for him, but cannot say I won't miss him.
When I was young i met him on the TV show celebration that Rev Bob Gass ran back in the 70's my mom had me read Cross and the Switchblade and Run Baby Run. totally awesome books he will be sadley missed but so many will continue the Good News because of his works here on earth I am sure my mom will be there to meet him and talk of old times my prayers for the family I guess God has plans for him now in heaven may God bless
I feel like Elisha must have felt when Elijah was taken in a whirlwind to the heavens. Where do we go for a fresh, bold Word from the LORD now? I have met Rev. Wilkerson when I was a small child, I have followed his ministry for almost 50 years. My prayers are with his family and he will be greatly missed. It is as if my own father died again. God help us all.
i heard him preach in miami fla in the 60s what a powerfully annointed man of God he is in the presence of our lord forever
I graduated Teen Challenge in 1979. David Wilkerson's obedience to God saved my life and my soul. I'm grateful for his ministry. I will miss his influence here, but am comforted knowing he is with Jesus.
I am deeply saddened by our loss of Pastor David Wilkerson. I graduated from the Teen Challenge Program in 1981 and his ministry has been a huge part of my life ever since. His newsletters always seemed to have the encouragement I needed at that moment. He was one of the few preachers left who stood for righteousness and holiness. I will truly miss him and my heart goes out to his family.
My life was forever changed when I was 15 years old and attended one of Pastor David's crusades in Bangor Maine - he has remained as a powerful influence in my life for the 30 years.
Even today as a pastor, next to the Lord Jesus I can think of no other man who has directed my steps and impacted my life as did Pastor David Wilkerson.
My heart and prayers go out to his family during this time. since then.
Pastor David Wilkerson has been a part of my life since I was 14 years old, when I first read The Cross and The Switchblade. Heaven is a glorious place today, and Earth is much darker. R.I.P. Pastor Dave. We will miss you and your words of encouragement so much.
Pastor Wilkerson will be dearly missed. His teachings were outstanding continually pointing our way to the Lord. He surely will hear, "Well done thy good and faith servant" from the Lord. His teaching and his presence will be greatly missed by many. "Welcome home, my son." His journey through this life is over but his life is now beginning!
I was a drug addict in 1976 and when I was dying of an overdose of drugs, a lady named Elizabeth Taylor was in the Sauna Room in Houston, Texas and saw that I was dying and told me that Jesus Christ could give me a new life.
I did respond to that eargerly and Elizabeth found a place for me to go to get off drugs. She called the Teen Callenge in Houston, Tx. and I went there and they accepted me and I was given a new life.
I also attended Walter Hoving Home and completed my graduation and then went to Lindale, Tx.
I thank God for David Wilkerson and Gwen Wilkerson. While I was in the Lindale Academy my job was cleaning David Wilkerson's house once a week (I thing, it was a long time ago). Gwen was very sick, but when I went to clean her house she would usually get out of bed (sick with cancer) and ask me to come to the kitchen and have some cookies with her. What a nice thing to do for such a frail person as me.
Also, David Wilkerson gave me $20.00 one time when I was cleaning his son's room, He said God told him to give it to me, and it was such a blessing.
Bless you Gwen and family, David was a great man of God.
I love you in The Lord
I began receiving Bro. David Wilkerson's sermons several years ago. They were very inspiring, and you could tell Bro David was very much 'in touch' with the Lord and master. What an example of a life well lived!
2 Timothy 4:7 I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: 8.Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.
I've followed him for my entire born-again life. His newsletters ministered GREATLY to me. He was truly a watchman on the wall. My condolences to his family and prayers for a speedy recovery to Gwen...
It is a sad day for me, it was his preaching at Times Square Church along wtih Bro. Don and Bro.Bob Phillips that taught me what a right relationship with Christ should resemble. What a lost for all of us. To Gwen and his family may GODS grace carry you
I sat under the Ministry of Pastor David for over 15 years when he pastored Times Square Church in NYC. I consider him to be my spiritual "Father".He is now with the Jesus he so loved and preached. Many have been saved and have been delivered of
great sins and addictions through this ministry. A more humble and kind man will be hard to find. He is surely a Saint of God. We all will miss him terribly and will see him again someday on the other side !! Condolences to his family and friends.
Very inspirational man and he will be missed. I read his book The Cross and the Switchblade when I was 17 years old and was quite moved by his story. My deepest condolences.
Pastor David was one of our favorite ministers. We loved his books, newsletter, and daily devotions. We got to see him at meetings in the 1980s in Illinois. He was a huge blessing to millions, greatly used by God. He'll be missed so much, but hopefully we'll join him soon....Come quickly, Lord Jesus!
Margie Bess and her daughter Barbara
Mr. Wilkerson saved so many through Teen Challenge, my son being one. God speed on this new journey. We will pray for his family. Karen Penswick (Natick, MA)
I had just subscribed to Pastor Wilkerson's daily devotions.Only for a short while, but what he had to say from GOD'S WORD each day was always s encouraging to me.I will miss him and the uplifting devotions.Praying for his wife and family.so sorry this happened.
I'm completely heart broken and shocked about Pastor Wilkerson. He is such an inspiration to me. What a great man of faith! Times Square Church has always been my favorite church to attend. I just wish I had told him in person, but I will when I see him in heaven. My condolences and prayers for his wife, children, and other loved ones. Love in Christ, Yolanda Tolentino

David's life touched mine the first time in Chicago 1883 as he preached the gospel and we( a team of 200) workers helped pray with everyone. HIs love for jesus and steadfast encouragement will be missed. May the Lord comfort his family during this time.
Such sad news I was a next door neighbor in Chester, N.j. to The Reverands son and his wonderful family. My heart goes out to all of them. He is with the Lord and his precious granddaughter. Sent with much love to all of the family
"Well done thy good and faithful servant"
Your Life, your Books and Ministry have touched the hearts of many. His family members are in my prayers.
We shall miss you David. So many lives have been changed through your sacrificial ministry.
Yesterday, the world lost its last prophet. May God help us all.
I accepted Christ as a teenager in New Zealand after reading "The Cross and the Switchblade". after forty-five years, I still consider that book to be one my all-time favourites. My husband was a
So saved through Victory Outreach in the eighties.
My prayers go out to the family.
I have known David for over 60 years. Our prayers are with Gwen and family Jerry Hiller Jeannette,Pa.
I loved his sermon "A Call to Anguish" and his book The Cross and the Switchblade. I helped a teen get into Teen Challenge once and saw great results. He will be missed. He is Home.
I have been blessed by the monthly sermons from Reverend Wilkerson, they have helped me through some tough times.I will be praying for you.
Rev. David Wilkerson is with the Lord Jesus Christ. Pray for his wife. She was in the accident too. She is in critical condition as a result of the accident. I will miss his God inspired messages.
Our condolesence are with you and your family. If it hadn't been for Pastor David reaching out to Nicky Cruz and never giving up on him and Nickfy eaching Pastor Sonny, where would many people be. I Thank God for Pastor David and his commitment to reach a lost and hurting world, he truly will be missed. He is now in the presence of the Most High King.
He will be greatly missed.
I have been taught and inspired by Rev. David Wilkerson for many years. I was a teenager when I first read the book, "The Cross and the Switchblade." I have often been strengthened by the knowledge of the power of God that was expressed through him. This has challenged me to allow Christ to be empowered in me. Although I have never had the privilege to meet him (this side of Heaven) I feel the loss of a close friend and family member. May God keep and bless you during this time of loss.
Dear Sis. Gwendolyn and Family,
We are so sorry to hear of Bro. David's passing. We sorrow not for Bro. David, he is forever safe in Jesus arms, but we sorrow for we who are left behind, but we sorrow in hope, because we know we will be reunited sometime soon with him at Jesus'feet!
I always enjoy the wonderful newsletters that he sent out, they are a part of my spiritual food!
We pray The Comforter will wrap His arms of Love around you at this most difficult time!
God Bless you! Love in Jesus, Karen and Otto Samons
Deepest sympathy to the family on the loss of a wonderful and Godly man. He will always be remembered. God Bless.
Pastor Dave, no one in my life has impacted me like you have....you will never be forgotten. Thanks for giving your life that many are saved, love you so much.
We will never know God's will in all our lives, as to the "why" life is like it is and when we meet up there, it won't matter ! Pastor David was very unique, so different to most ministers that I never knew him to ask for money for the works that God gave him to do. To me, and so many others, that stood out as one truely called by God.
We suppose that when our work is over here that it is time to leave. It is hard to release people from this life that we feel are doing so much good for people, but God is still the One in authority. The Apostle Paul tells us that to be "absent from the body is to be present with the Lord" and I am sure that that is the greatest meeting anyone could ever have. We pray for God's comfort for the family during these so difficult times and also in the days ahead.
Take comfort and strength from the comfort of the Holy Spirit.
God's blessings to you.
Sincere, heartfelt condolences to all the Wilkerson family from a receipient of "Bro Dave's" daily messages online. The Holy Spirit used him in the lives of others every day of his life and in his final words prophetically gave hope to all of us. He is now with our Savior, Lord, and Redeemer. May the Spirit of God keep you in the hollow of his mighty hand in the coming days; especially for the healing of your dear mother.
He is in Paradise with OUR LORD.
Welcome Home my faithful servant.
David helped so many people in his life. May God welcome David into His loving arms!
Rev Wilkerson was a great man of God but he was also an amazing individual. He was strong in faith and preached the gospel in much the same manner Christ did: with passion and confrontation. No wishy washy with this pastor. My family and I travelled two hours every Sunday to attend Times Square Church and be blessed by his ministry. He will be sorely missed though without a doubt he lived out his destiny with all his heart. Our nation is the poorer without his voice ringing out. Heaven surely shouted at his arrival though!
No matter how old I get, I will always remember David Wilkerson's work, movie and book. He was and remains an inspiration.
I have been a follower of Rev. Wilkerson's teachings since becoming a Christian in the early "70's. He will be sorely missed here on Earth but at the same time, I rejoyce that he has won the race! Hallilujah!!
Our prayers and thoughts are with your family at this hour. We know that his message of JESUS and The CROSS will continue on until HE COMES BACK AGAIN. Always remember HE CARES and HE'S JUST A PRAYER AWAY.
Reading his book, The Cross and the Switchblade, was very inspirational to me.
Run Baby Run is the reason I became a Christian. I picked up that book thinking wow this is a "racy book" and right in the middle of it, I met Jesus. Since then my whole family knows Jesus and my one brother is a Minister at the Allison Park Assembly of God near Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. So I praise God for David Wilkerson and Niki Cruz. I am sorry for your loss but I know David is in the presen ce of Jesus Patty Stover Fort Wayne IN
for god so loved the world that he gave his only begotten SON that whosoever believeth in HIM shall have everlasting life.Life has just begun.Eternity is FOREVER TO BE ABSENT FROM THE BODY IS TO BE PRESENT WITH THE LORD.
Bro. Wilkerson was at an Assembly of God church in Pampa, Texas in 1972 and showed a film on the day Jesus comes back. That week I accepted the Lord Jesus Christ. I thank God I went to see him that night. May God be with his family at this time. Sandra Belt in Midland Texas
I was sorry to hear this tragic news. I have been an admirer of Rev. Wilkerson ever since I read Cross & Switchblade. May God comfort the family and church.
As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.
My thoughts and prayers go out to the family and friends of Mr. Wilerson. May God wrap his loving arms around you and comfort you in your time of sorrow.
We have followed David's ministry since the early 70's. We have always trusted in his integrity. He will be greatly missed by all. Ron and Carol Wilhoit
I'm sorry to hear that Rev. David Wilkerson has left to be with God. I have read his books and I also read the daily devotionals, e-mail. My son got saved at Tme Square Church and I know that he must be heartbroken.
My prayers are with the family and his followers all over the world.
David Wilkerson was an inspiration to more people than he would ever know, myself included. His compassion and love for the lost reached out to many and straightened lots of lives out. After reading his book "The Cross and the Switchbade", I was so moved that I did volunteer work helping others with Teen Challenge in New Orleans, Louisiana. I saw many, many people turn their lives over to Christ, who in turn, turned their lives around completely! Those were people whose family and friends thought there was no hope for these people and turned their backs on them. There were a lot of testimonies given by people who thought change would never hapen, but with Teen Challenge's help it did. Dave Wilerson was a true giver. His unconditional love for the hurting was phenomenal. I could go on forever about Mr. Wilkerson, and Teen Challenge will always hold a special place in my heart. My deepest condolences to Gwendolyn, she loved and supprted her husband through good times and bad. Cathy S., Mandeville, LA
My favorite Pastor and Prophet. I will miss him greatly. I know God is saying "well done my good and faithful servant."

I heard him speak when I was a teenager - late 70's.
Rest in peace with Jesus.
I am so sorry for the passing of David Wilkerson. His book "The Cross and the Swicthblade" was one of the first books I read after I was saved. I lived in N.C. but had been raised in N.Y. State and it had a big impact on me. My prayers are with his family here on earth as he now is with his family in Heaven.
I'm so sorry to hear of the tragedy - and yet to know that it is a time of rejoicing for Pastor Wilkerson. May his wife and family feel the comfort of God and the prayers of His people. Blessings. Lonni Hillman, Spokane,. Wa.
A champion of the Lord has gone to be with Jesus. He will be missed. He has been such an inspiration to me. His newsletter and on-line devotions have been wonderful. What a faithful servant. All family and friends are in my prayers. Linda Bowie, Olive Branch, MS

I was blessed each month for many years by this man of God, his messages were always right on time for me. Rev. Wilkinson has given me many moments of peace and yet also challenged me in my walk with the Lord. I pray for comfort and healing for his family.
I remember being introduced to the work of David Wilkerson as a child through my church. What wonderful work he did; may his legacy of compassion live on. May God bless everyone who was touched and helped by Rev. Wilkerson and those who will be touched in the future. May God comfort his friends and family during this sad time.
I want to express my sympathies for Rev. Wilkerson's family and to let them know how very much he meant to me. I first read his book in about 1966 when I was 15, and it made a very strong impression on me that remains to this day. My best to all of you.
This man was a mighty vessel greatly used for the Kingdom of God. His life and legacy is one to be honored. His life's mission of winning souls to Christ was not in vain. He is now forevermore with our Lord and Savior and has been presented with a crown, finally getting to hear those coveted words, "Welcome Home! Well done my good, and faithful servant."
Such a great man of God, he shall be missed prayers going out for u all in this time of loss, NJ
As a young person in the 1980's I met Pastor Wilkerson, it is a very sad day!
