You always remained that beautiful young man on the train in my mind and always will.

April 01, 2011
I was a long time fan of Mr. Grangers. But no one has mention the movie
Portrait of Dorey Gray. I found it to be one of his best.

Sincere condolences to the family and friends of Farley Granger. I, too, was a young teenager who developed a huge crush on this handsome man when I saw the movie "Our Very Own", with Ann Blyth. I'm sorry we didn't see much more of him in later years but that first crush lingers forever! Rest in Peace ...
Shalom.

As soon as I heard his name, I immediately thought of "The Gift of the Magi", one of O Henry's stories that was broadcast as part of the film called, "Full House", produced in 1952. I don't remember seeing Mr. Granger in anything else, but his role in that Christmas classic will always stay with me. Rest in Peace, Mr. Granger.
March 31, 2011
Unfortunately I passed up the chance to meet Farley when he was in our town to visit his cousins. I was about 11 or 12 then and had never heard of him My older sister, who was friends with his twin cousins, jumped at the oppor-
tunity to meet him. I guess most teenage gals thought he was a hunk but us guys were more into Roy Rogers. Years later as I watched some of his movies I became a big fan. I especially enjoyed "Rope".
March 31, 2011
I was thinking about Farley Granger the other day, and recalling that a friend and I were visiting NYC in 1960 or '61, and my friend spotted Farley Granger while we were in a bookstore. He looked smashing! I liked your writeup of him very much. Life is short. I realize that more and more. Every time someone we kenw of passes away, it brings home we better get our priorities straight. I hope somebody witnessed to him.
March 31, 2011

"No immediate survivors" -- doesn't sound like it to me. For as fans, we are the survivors. I find much inspiration in Farley Granger's work & it's regrettable he had to leave film due to the restrictive nature of the industry at the time. Farewell gorgeous man, think I'll pop in my copy of Strangers on a Train & watch Granger & Walker giving the performances of their careers.
March 30, 2011

Farley Granger was one of my most favorite actors of all time. His innocence on screen was remarkable. When someone you love dies, it leaves an empty spot in your hearts which could never be filled by any other person. Soon, in a new world of god's making, all pain, suffering and sickness will be gone forever. Until then, I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.
