Dr. Ryan A talented artist and animal lover... If only there were more like you. You touched this life, and the lives of others, with hope -- may you have eternal peace in return. And may your family somehow find solace after this loss.
Godspeed on angels' wings
Dr. Ryan, you had a magical way of making people feel attended to, heard, and beautiful. I have never in my life met anyone as talented, aware, hard-working and sincerely kind as you. You are the only doctor that I truly felt I could close my eyes and trust. You are greatly missed. Thank you for showing us a true and pure example of a human being. Eternal love to you and your family.
Dr Ryan, You were a wonderful and talented doctor. I will miss you.
Dr Ryan and I are from Ohio and attended Ohio State University at diffrent times. I emailed him over a year ago as to a consult and was surprised that he responded due to his busy schedule. I feel sad and a lose as so many others. My heart goes out to his family and people he touched so deeply. His spirit will shine forever.
Dr. Frank Ryan is the best. He worked on me about 8 years ago and it was a wonderful experience. I have been back to visit him at times while I was on vacation in California and he was always welcoming and gracious; he even sent me a wedding gift when I got married. I really hope I do not need any work done in the future because I would not even begin to know what to do or who to go to. Dr. Frank Ryan is second to NONE.
Dr. Frank Ryan worked on me about 9 years ago; his work was magnificent! I will always remember his smile, his beautiful blue eyes, and most of all, his generous heart. He helped many children at his Bony Pony Ranch to which I have made a donation in his memory, and I hope that many will do the same. He would be happy to see his Ranch continue its mission in his name. Thank you Dr, Ryan, I will always be grateful to you. My sincere condolences to your Mother and rest of family. God bless you.
I was fortunate to be one of Dr Ryan's patients. He was a wonderful surgeon and a beautiful human being inside and out. He will be missed.
Dr. Ryan, I was scheduled to meet with you next month. I was looking forward meeting you, as hearing that you are very talented doctor. I am sad over your lost. I know this must be hard for your mother, as no child should go before a parent. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family. He will be greatly missed!
As a young widow of a physician who has also undergone a number of cosmetic surgeries, I was shattered to hear the news and my heart grieves for this talented and gifted surgeon, his family and all who knew him. The world has lost a beautiful and priceless human being and medicine has lost a genuis. My deepest, heart felt condolances to his Mother and family and to all who knew and loved him. Truly a tragic loss. May his beautiful soul rest in peace.
Dr Ryan I am one of the last lucky piece of your art.You did my surgery a week before our great loss. WisH I could have been able to show it to you, hug you, and appreciate you

Dr. Ryan I didn't know you, but I have heard many great things about you along the years. You changed many peoples hearts and lives , I wish I would have had the chance to meet you, I know many others feel the same, but now threw this terrible time for many of people here it's hard to say "Goodbye". You will always be missed and talked about the wonderful things you said and done, and you will NEVER be forgotten.
I am devastated and heartbroken after hearing the news, that Dr. Frank Ryan died. I was a patient of his and proud to say he was my friend as well. We had so many laughs together. He always had the best sense of humor, and was kind hearted. Beverly Hills and Malibu will never be the same without him. Although, his legacy will live on forever. I pray for his mom for God to give her strength through this difficult time as well as his relatives. I pray for his dog Jill, that she will heal from her pysical wounds as well as her emotional wounds. Dr. Ryan will be greatly missed. I will never forget him and he will always live in my heart. He was taken from us too soon, but God wanted his angel to go home. I am thankful and grateful to God for letting him give us Dr. Ryan as long as he did here on earth. He is in a better place and I know he is looking down smiling at us. I pray that he will be my guardian angel. I can't wait for the day that I will see him again in heaven! I have the biggest hug for him. There will never be enough words to describe what a brillant, caring man Frank was. He changed many lives at the Bony Pony Ranch, that gave people hope and made them feel NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE if you work hard at something and never give up. He made people want to better themselves and their lives.
Mary Kate you are an angel yourself. You raised a fine young, respectful boy with a big heart, who turned out to be an amazing man! God Bless You.
This tragedy shows us we are here one minute and gone the next. We need to live each day like it's our last. We need to be kind to people, be givers not takers and not take each day we have here on earth for granted. Dr. Ryan was a great example of that.
I love you Dr. Ryan,
See you in heaven! : )
So sorry for the death of your son. R.I.P.

I had the privledge of working for Dr. Ryan for a couple months this year. He was a very sweet and caring man and I had so much respect for him as a surgeon. May God bless Dr. Frank Ryan and his family. I send them my deepest sympathy.
I met Frank 30 years ago at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. We became instant friends. We did embryologic research at the University Amphibian Facility as we were ambitious pre-med students and the best of friends. We grew up together in college, partied together, went to many rock concerts, and praised the achievements of one another. Over the years and up until his last moment, we remained as close friends, as we exchanged greetings by text, e-mail, and calls over every holiday and every birthday or to pick each other's brain over medical issues, or to talk for no reason but to share some laughs or to reminisce. He was and always will be one of the kindest and most generous and respectful individuals that anyone could ever be blessed to know. I still have the beautiful sweater that he gave me for my 21st birthday--and I am now 49. I feel honored that he attended my wedding over 26 years ago and had continued to be an excellent and solid friend as we each progressed through our respective milestones of our medical training programs. We checked in on each other by phone to make sure that all was OK during his surgical residency and my neurology residency and up until present. Frank always knew that I had his back and was always in his corner--regardless of what was going on in his life; he did the same for me. I knew the REAL Frank--a superb and fine person of great ethics with a boundless heart. Thankfully, I conveyed all of that to him and we never left anything unsaid. With a very heavy heart, I struggle to process this loss, but I know where he is. He is in heaven, at peace, and surrounded by angels and the love of God and the love of all who love him.
Dear Dr. Ryan,
Words can not describe the immediate sense of immense grief, sorrow and sadness that took over me when I heard the news. It was such a privilege to work with you on the ranch. At the ranch last Sunday, hearing you talk so proud of Bony Pony Ranch and the hard work you had put in to it, made me feel that I was definitely part of something special. You are and will be greatly missed and I know your legacy of kindness, generosity and goodwill will carry on.
Such a tragic loss. My thoughts and prayers to Franks family. May Frank RIP.
Dr. Ryan, I thank you for your willingness to serve your fellow man.
I am very sorry for your loss of Dr Ryan.
(Family of Dr Ryan) I am proud to call you a fellow American.
May your tender kind spirit always be with your family and friends. Just meeting you 6 months ago you touched my heart
and will be missed. I'm very lucky to have spent time with you. You will be hard to forget.
God Bless your family

God bless you, Dr. Ryan, and God bless his mother, his beloved Jill, his family, friends, and colleagues. May he always be an example to us to live our lives selflessly... with kindness, generosity, caring and compassion - and most importantly - with love! xoxo
Dr. Ryan was nothing shy of selfless. He dedicated his life to helping those in need, and was so very proud of the Bony Pony Foundation he created to help underpriviledged children. He changed the lives of so many of these children, including troubled teenagers who came there to better their future. He was truly one of the most beautiful human beings and friends I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. I am so very deeply saddened. Dr. Ryan was the brother I never had. I loved him dearly and I will miss him so much.
Heaven is definitely receiving one beautiful angel.
I am so very sorry to hear about the loss of Dr. Ryan. My thoughts and prayers go out to his mother, friends and staff.
Tremendously talented, Dr. Ryan was also warm and engaging, expressing an interest in others. He was a remarkable man that demonstrated the quality of his character by sharing his talent and success with those less fortunate. He is greatly missed.
In deepest sympathy,

I was stunned by the news and feel such a sense of loss. My deepest sympathy to all of you. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

I met Frank at a charity event a few years ago. He should be remembered for his humanitarian efforts first and foremost. A generous man that will be missed!!
To the family and many friends of Dr Frank Ryan, I offer my condolences and sincere sympathy. I first saw Dr Frank on Gene Simmons Family Jewels and you could just take one look at that man and see that he was just a wonderful human being. May he rest in peace and his family, friends and patients be comforted in this time of sorrow and know that he was loved by many who knew him as well as those who didn't know him.
Rest In Peace Dr Frank. The angels will love you. :)
The loss of a child, at any age, is tragic. My heartfelt condolences to his mother.
The loss of a truly good man is also tragic; my condolences to everyone who was touched by his presence in their lives.
I first saw Dr.Ryan on the Bonnie Hunt show-and found him so honest and sincere about his choices concerning his recent celebtity patient. I respect bonnie and her show and I hope (they) show him the same respect he showed them by coming on their show and explaining (which he didn't have to do). With much sympathy to his family.
I am greatly saddened by the loss of such a kind,
caring and talented man. We, who knew him and
experience his gifts, will never forget him. My deepest
condolences to his beloved mother, family and staff.
He will be in our thoughts always. He gave so much and we received the benefits.
Frank was a genius in his profession and a humanitarian of the highest caliber. He was a devoted son to his dear Mother. a generous professional with his staff, and a loyal friend to those he was close with - he touched the souls of many people from all walks of life. A huge part of my life that I had become accustomed to sharing with him is now gone - his annual Christmas party, celebrating my birthday and his. Ah, the great fun he had living life - he did it all. I will always honor his kind spirit that inspired me to follow my dreams, and now in the wake of death to live them to the fullest.
My condolences to Dr Frank Ryan's family. He will forever be in our hearts. May God Give you the strength and comfort to guide you through this time of grief.

I viewed him on television. May God comfort his family and friends.
I will deeply miss Dr.Ryan. He was such a caring person to all. I met him at my place of work at Neptune's Net where we became friends My heart goes out to his mother who is the sweetest person I ever met. When the both of them would come in they would always have a smile on there face.He gave so much of himself to be taken at an early age. May you be at peace and one day we will meet again.
To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.
Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."
It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.
God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.
When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.
I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.
There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.
If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.
So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.
And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

Dr. Ryan was a kind, caring neighbor. He was always welcoming if we stopped by his ranch to say hi. He had many BBQ's at his ranch and invited the neighbors every time. He took care of the canyon and his neighbors. He made sure the graffiti and garbage was cleaned up in the canyon. He was a delightful gentleman and his kindness will always be remembered.
I am going to miss Frank at our annual Thanksgiving at Anatasia's. My prayers are with you during this trying time.
You are all in my prayers.
Im so sorry for your loss. May god give you strength to get through this tough time
May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief.
My condolences to Dr. Ryan's Mother. the rest of his family, his staff and close friends. He was so much more than a Celebrity Plastic Surgeon. I am so proud to have known him, and will be forever grateful that he was my doctor, too! He was loved and will be missed by many.

I was deeply saddened to hear of Dr. Frank Ryan's untimely death. This has shocked us all. Frank was a wonderfully kind and warm person; a charitable man, and a delight to be around. He was sincere and had an easy laugh. I had just commented on his FB photo of his beloved dog, he adored Malibu and the seaside. I did not know him professionally, but living in L.A. we have all been witness to his talent as a surgeon. Bless his mother and family in their loss and sorrow.

My deepest sympathy for the family of Dr Frankie Ryan. He was a childhood playmate of mine in Toledo Ohio back in the 70's when we both lived on Berdan Ave where he lived with his mom. He lived across the street from me and I have very fond memories of playing tag and hide and seek. God Bless as he is in heaven now as a star.

I have followed this Drs. work for a long time. Recently he was part of the Gene Simmons family show and he did work on both Gene and Shannon Tweed. Excellent work and he was also at the sweet 16 of their daughter. He was a very well known respected Plastic Surgeon.

Dr. Frank Ryan was a true renaissance man. I am honored to have his work a permanent part of my body. He always joked with me and made me feel number one when I was in his presence. I could write a book about his gentle nature and his humbleness. The thing that stands out the most for me thinking of him was that sparkle in his eye. It was the largest I have ever seen. Ill miss you Dr. Ryan. Greta Waller
