”Honor and Remember” - “Project Compassion” We love our Soldiers! We love our country and we cannot express enough love and compassion to the families of our fallen heroes. War does not discriminate – It breaks our hearts to see the faces of the fallen. We want to give this gift to the hero’s Mother, Father and/or spouse. We are a 501c3 nonprofit organization! Almost 2,100 portraits have been completed and shipped to the parents and or spouse - at no cost as this is a gift from one American to another!
This is a gift! We have wonderful sponsors who help with the costs, and want you know that everyone here at Project Compassion does and will always CARE.
Contact us directly at or go to . If you have already had a portrait completed, we pray that you are enjoying the portrait and God Bless You.
Sincerely and Respectfully,

"Don't Let The Memory Of Them Drift Away"
July 20, 2009
Hi my friend how are you? I greet you this way because you still live in my memories and I still cannot believe that you are gone. I miss you and your crazy ways, what good times we had together, it’s very hard to look at your picture I came across it while surfing on the internet. I don’t call you mom as much as I use to I got the feeling that each time I call I remind her of you. Not saying that’s a bad thing however can help but to wonder do I cause grief in calling. I still have your award and uniform in my possession safely tucked away just because they are yours. The boys are coming to my house in Atlanta this weekend and I am sure your name will come up as it always does when we are together. You would be happy to know that we don’t go to the Black College Weekend anymore down in Daytona Beach Florida, many of use felt like we were too old now and we must move on to something else. Don’t want to be call grandpa down in Fla. LOL. Take care my friend we miss you, care about you, love you and thank God for the time He allowed us to spend with you. I will write you again soon

In My Pocket

I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.

My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.

They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.

Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.

But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.

April 25, 2007
Thanks for giving your life for our country. We bless your spirit and are blessed because you made us safe her in the United States. May your family find peace in Jesus name

Psalm 23

The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not be in want.
He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters,
He restores my soul. He guides me in paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.
You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.
Surely goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.

This is a verse that I have found to be comforting to me during my husbands death. Remember that when it seems that no one else is round, God is still there with you! And he will be your rock!

My daughter,McKaLyne, and I send our heartfelt sympathy for your loss! God Bless this warrior, God Bless those whom serve freedom's cause! They are our true HERO's!!!!

If you need anything, please feel free to contact me!!!
