I'm sorry to hear of the death of your beloved Harry. I had the great please to see you both at one of your performances in Manchester NH a few years ago and you were quite the couple! I also had the pleasure of seeing you during a Dolly performance in Boston back in the 90's and as a result of your friendship with my uncle Barry Mirkin got to go back stage to say hi and have a photo taken with you which I cherish very much!
The foundation that you and Harry started is so needed because the arts in our schools can really be a lifesave for so many children with no direction and I mention the foundation to many people.
Sorry to hear about Harry's death. I found out while searching for info about your movie. We met on Louisville in September 2009 and got to spend more time with Harry than with you. You both signed your book "Just Lucky I guess" and your cd. I am proud that the book is signed by Harry
Kullijian and Carol Kullijian. God Bless You. Jim

I had the privilege of standing next to Mr. Kullijian only briefly at the Modesto premiere of Dr. Channing's new documentary. I felt this gentleman's humanity, warmth and kindness. I remember his wonderful smile. I admire his desire to keep the arts in the schools. The arts make life worthwhile. I laughed when he said, "why would we be here? We're ninety years old!"
God bless his family and friends always and, especially, during this difficult time. May the memories of a funny, warm hearted man and God's love keep you strong.
Jennifer W. Turlock

I AM VERY SORRY FOR THE LOSS OF YOUR HUSBAND AND FRIEND HARRY KULLIJIAN.
MAY YOU FIND COMFORT IN FRIENDS AND FAMILY
IN YOUR TIME OF SORROW.
MAY YOU ALSO KNOW THAT OUR CREATOR IS THE GOD OF TENDER MERCIES AND OF ALL COMFORT AND WE CAN TURN TO HIM IN OUR TIME OF NEED.
WITH MY DEEPEST SYMPATHY.
My mother, Frances Johnson, has such fond memories of Harry and both of his special wives. Jerri and Fran walked home together each day after high school in San Francisco. They were best friends. Then their lives reconnected years later in Modesto. Jerri passed away about the same time my father died. Mom felt such a loss during that time and so appreciated Harry's friendship. It was the special years when Carol and Harry shared their anniversaries with my mom, that is so appreciated. As a person goes through life it is the memories of really true friends that is embedded forever. Mom is happy that Harry got to spend the last years with Carol who he truly loved.

I taught Sunday School with Harry at Cross Point Church in Modesto (First Baptist). He was always a lot of fun and played a mean accordian! I am happy that he was able to marry you after the death of Gerry. Your sweetheart story was so encouraging and you both deserve the happiness that you brought to each others lives. Carry on Ms Channing. Harry's memory and love will always be with you.
My condolences for your loss, Miss Channing. Yet, I'm so glad you found each other again and were so very happy together. I am sorry for your grief. Mary

I am so sorry for your loss, Ms. Channing. I met you and your sweet husband in Montgomery, AL about 6 or 7 years ago. Not only was your performance (and Mr Kullijian's) thoroughly entertaining, but after the show, back stage, we, the "star-struck" fans, enjoyed finding you both to be warm, friendly, and very real! Your love for each other was such a delight to witness. You will be in my thoughts and prayers through this New Years season.

Carol, I am so thankful for you, that you had the wonderful pleasure of being back with Harry, if only for a sweet, short time, after so many years without him. We all dearly love you, and feel for you, in your most profound sorrow...
Really something that I had been thinking of Carol and Harry all week and to hear this now...very saddened to hear of this gentleman passing and the heartbreak Carol and his family are feeling now....many blessings to them.
Uncle Harry was the family prince; handsome, intelligent, philanthropic, fun and wise (as well as a great accordion player). We all feel blessed he found his princess in Carol Channing, who brought so much joy and love into his life.
