Dear Ed, I met Janet through her mother,Winnie, who was my mother in law's best friend. Janet was always pleasant, with a smile on her face. The past few months must have been so hard on both of you. I will remember both of you in my prayers.

I personally did not know Janet, but she was a friend of my sister, Lois Hazlett Kielkopf, and she was the sister of one of my classmates, George Boyer. I also have wonderful memories of her mother as one of our teachers in school. Please accept my sincere sympathy on Janet's passing.

I find it hard to believe that all this time has past. I remember Janet as Janie-Lou from the photos from our Grandparents. It seems like only yesterday That Janet and I took a trip to Trenton and Philadelphia with my late father in our Packard when we were about 15 or 16 years old. Growing up in California didn't give our branch of the family the ability to visit her's. My mother, Grace Boyer Koenig was Janet's Father's sister. Her Parents were my Aunt and Uncle. So we were first cousins. Her brothers were so young on our last visit that I never got to know them. Knowing she was there and having talked to her on the telephone over the years was a confort as almost all my family is gone. I will tell my mother (her aunt) later tomorrow as it will be hard for a 93 year old lady to loose her only niece. Please accept our deepest sympathies. I am certain that there will be prayers for Janet here today.

My prayers are with your family at this time. My Mother, Ann Kepner, just told me, Janet, has been sending her Christmas cards every year since Charles was in the Carlisle Hospital with my Dad, Charles Kepner in the early 1980's. My Dad passed away 2/9/85. I do remember meeting Charles when I would bring my son to see his Grandpa. Please hold on to all your memories and know how kind and caring Janet was to remember my parents for all these years.
