Of all the heros of WWII, the most notable, to me, were the Code Talkers. What a sacrifice they made...and were, literally, the unit that helped to win the war in the Pacific.
God bless all of the Code Talkers! I'm SO GRATEFUL for your service.

We wish to extend our condolences to the family of Keith LIttle, one of American's long lost heroes of WW II. We shall keep his soul in our prayers that he may rest in the peace with the LORD until judgment day. We can only, say thanks to those who served honorably such as the wind walkers did, to help save the lives of many during the war. No doubt brother the things you had to endure during that time. The prejudices and all the back lash for the color of your skin. But you know what minorities have had to endure such trials as if we could really help the way we were born. But God knew what He was doing to create such a beautiful person in the Navajo people.
The work that you accomplished by looking over the foolishness of men and went on about the business of war saved many lives and brought many families back together again. Awesome testimony of life. May you rest in peace my red brother and your legacy will go on in your great people and I know that the museum that you dreamed about will manifest and become a great site for young and old to see and learn from. To your family what a legacy you all have been left with. Honor it , hold it close,teach it to your children and your childrens,children and someday the world will know how the Navajo people
helped to win the war and with God's help the History books will carry the real message to all the young.

RIP from all your work

Dear brother, you may be little in name but you are a gigiantic at heart . If Gen. Mcarthur be alive today he would say that is one of my boys. Once he sad "Old Soldiers never die they just fade away" You jus fade from earth but not from history. You will be remeber for ever. Without you guys and your Navajo code, we won't be here today Japanesse Soldiers were means.

Brother, death is not the end... It is another step forward in Heavenly Father's plan for his children. Someday, like everyone else , your physical body will die. But your warrior spirit does not die, it goes to the spirit world, where you continue to learn and progress and may be reunited with loved ones who have passed on.

Death is a necessay step in your progression, just as your birth was. Sometime after your death, your spirit and your body will reunited --- never to be separated again. This is call resurrection, and it was made possible by death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

MAY YOUR SOUL REST IN PEACE...

This body is not me, I am not caught in this body.
I am life without boundaries. I have never been born,
and I shall never die.
Look at the ocean and the sky filled with stars,
manifestations of my wondrous true mind.
Since before time, I have been free.
Birth and death are only doors through which we pass,
sacred thresholds on our journey.
Birth and death are just a game of hide and seek.
So laugh with me,
hold my hand,
let us say goodbye,
say goodbye, to meet again soon.
We meet today.
We will meet again tomorrow.
We will meet at the source at every moment.
We meet each other in all forms of life.

Let us move evenly together.

Let us stand as one.

Let evil be cast from us.

Let no man cry for himself

Or listen to those without faces.

Let us move evenly together.

Let us walk as tall trees.

Let fear be crushed within us.

Let no man speak for himself

Or give secrets to those without blood.

We shall live together;

We shall walk with you;

We shall find in each new day what hides inside of you,

We shall wait together;

We shall see the day when we go hand in hand.

To the fire in the mountain,

To the water in the sand.

Keith was one of many Navajo Code Talkers in attendance during Pueblo Grande Museum Indian Market in 2001 as special guests.

As I recollect, it was a heartwarming gathering when PGM Auxiliary hosted a special honoring on Friday evening. The community room was filled to standing room capacity and an Honor Song was sung and there were teary-eyed guests whose hearts were touched by this special group of men who gave so much to their country and people. A flag that flew over the nation's capital on Navajo Codetalkers Day in 2001 was presented by museum staff member and US Marine veteran, Robert Serocke. Robert, in his crisp blue uniform presented the flag to Keith Little and he would tell me two or three years later that that was one of the highlights in his life.

During that weekend market, nearly 700 books were sold with long lines of guests waiting to express their heartfelt appreciation and obtain an autograph from approximately a dozen of the world-known Navajo Codetalkers. The number of Codetalkers has dwindled
significantly over the past decade that PGM was a host. The honor each of us experienced in their presence will be carried for years to come, but as for today, we share the hearfelt sadness of the Navajo Nation as it lowers its flags in observance of the passing of
Keith Little, U.S. Marine veteran and Navajo Code Talker.

Had it not been for the code talkers during World War II - we would have lost many more lives. Those brave Indian men were able to keep Hitlers forces from cracking the code. My husband also World War II Army was raised in New Mexico and new some of the Indian hero's personally. Our nation owes much to all of the special code talkers. Rest in Peace Keith, and thank you and those that have gone on before you. May Great Spirit gather you all in his arms for eternity.

With any question or hesitation, you and your fellow service men provided a vital assault to win WWII. No matter how many accolades, medals, or gratitude is finally being giving. To the Little Family,
As with any Vetern "thank you" isn't enough, but I am thankful to Mr. Little and you his family for loaning him to the U.S. for his service. These men and women will be remembered as true "HEROS". I had never heard of the "Wind Talkers" before the movie. It is very upsetting that this part of history was not taught or mentioned in school, and for that I am truly sorry.
A Thankful U.S. Citizen

Thank you for serving our country, thank you for sharing such an important part of what the Navajo did during the war! I had the privilege to meet you in Albuquerque and hear from you firsthand about your views on the war, and as a 10 year old, it gave me a great sense about history that I will never forget. I will treasure the picture I have of that event, and share it with my children someday in your honor.
Rest in peace,
Semper Fi Code Talker,
