I wish to extend to you my deepest sympathy on the loss of your son. My name is Patricia Jussaume and I am a music teacher at the Butler Middle School in Lowell, MA. Every year for the past 18 years I hold a Veteran's Day Assembly. We read the names of those who died for our country who come from MA. Their names and information is read and a flower is placed in a vase in their memory. TAPS is then played. Our school will not forget your sacrifice and your son's duty to his country. If you wish to attend this assembly please let me know.
May God bless you and your family during this difficult time.

I know there are no words to say at this time, except how sorry that I am. My thoughts and prayers are with you always. Matthew will never be forgotten.
For you every single soldier
Those who served so honorable
Your life was forever altered
While I'm home safe and free
I stand with grateful admiration
I stand respectful and so proud
I know I'm only a civilian
And I don't even know if it's allowed
But I salute you; allow me the honor to salute you with permission let me say
Even though I hold no rank know that from my heart
My humble gratitude comes from the deepest part. I salute you.
For those missing in action;for those who didn't make it home.I know you're in God's presence you are not alone. For every neatly folded flag;for every shattered family
I will do the only thing I know to dignify your memory. I salute you, allow me the honorto salute you with permission let me say even though I hold no rank know that from my heart my humble gratitude comes from the deepest part. I salute you.

I Salute You.

Hello,
We would like to express our deepest condolences and also let the Rodriguez Family know that we recently made a small donation to The Wounded Warrior Project in honor of Matthew R. Rodriguez US Marine Lance Corporal. We also sent a number of our campaign patches to the NBVTHS Hockey Team as a token of our esteem. We recognize that this is a humble tribute, but we wanted you to know that it is heartfelt and made possible by thousands of like-minded individuals in the youth hockey community and beyond. We will not forget. May God Bless you and keep you strong.
Sincerely,
Charlie Gili & Family

While we didn't know Matthew personally, he was a member of my Uncle Don Manos' family and when we heard the news we instantly mourned this hero. My husband has served two tours in Afghanistan and our hearts go out to his family, friends and loved ones. He is a true hero and we are so very grateful and humbled by his sacrifice. Some gave all. May you know that your family will never be forgotten.
