"Don't Let The Memory Of Them Drift Away"
To the parents and family, I want you to know that you are not alone in the grief you are feeling. I know only too well what you are going through and what you will go through in the coming weeks and months ahead. You will have many questions as to why? You will have many things to get ready or go through and that should be done in time. Sometimes it just can’t be faced and that’s ok, for you will know when the time is right for you. Holidays make this harder to get through and you will find that celebrating birthdays, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter, Mother’s Day & Father’s Day will never be the same. The road isn’t easy that you are about to travel nor are all the books on grief going to map it out for you. It’s ok, just know that we are here for you and will not leave you. There is no right or wrong way to grieve. Grief is an individual journey, that unfortunately like my own self you now have to travel. It doesn’t matter how they died but how they lived that we should focus on. We know that each one in our military joined to make a difference in their own lives and to serve their country. Please know that each one no matter what is an American Hero and to be honored always and forever. I ask that God give the comfort, strength and courage that you are going to need. When and if the time is right for you please contact me. You can cry, vent, or just talk as only another person who has been where you are can really know what you are going through. May God continue to hold your hand as He gives comfort to you today and for the rest of your life. We also have a very active online support group for those who have died while active duty. You are welcome to join us as no one but those who have walked this path can even start to understand that grief.
In memory of my son

R.I.P Michael.... Your a true HERO!!!!!!
I currently attend the same high school you graduated from not too long ago.
We're all in a great debt to you and other like you. Thank you for serving.
THANK YOU, FROM A AIR FORCE MOM. MY HEART BLEEDS FOR YOU..
To lose a child is life's greatest sorrow. To lose one so far from home and in such circumstances only adds to the pain. My heart bleeds for you. As a fellow military mom, your circumstance is the one we all fear the most. Yet, while we fear it and while we all grieve with you I know you are feeling pride in your son and the man he grew up to be. Know you are in my prayers. I wish I could do or say something to ease your pain. I hope knowing he was loved, and appreciated is of some comfort to you.
For Michael's Mom...who I know not...but thinking of you as a fellow Military Parent.
Yellow roses grow in heaven, Lord pick a bunch for her. Place them in her Son's arms and tell him they're from His Mom. Tell him that She loves and misses him. When he turns to smile, place a kiss upon his cheek and hold him for awhile, because remembering him is easy, she does it every day. There's an ...ache...in her heart ...that... will never go away.
I hear you made it to Heaven
From the gates of Hell.
I don't have the words to thank you
For the high price you paid.
Sadly the road before you was already paved.
Thank You so much.
You gave it your all.
You made us so proud
When you answered the call.
I am sorry you will never again see
The land that you helped keep FREE,
But since you were so BRAVE and BOLD
You will now walk the streets of GOLD.
May GODS hands embrace you.
Your job here is done.
We will never forget YOU.
Thank you for giving your life so that I may remain free. You are and always will be a Hero in my heart.My sympathies to the family, my heart goes out to you. A marine mom, Arlene God Bless

A huge supporter of all troops..and
A marine mom
Rest In Peace CUZ We all miss you
Prayer for Peace
Lord, make me an instrument of your peace;
Where there is hatred, let me sow love;
Where there is injury, pardon;
Where there is doubt, faith;
Where there is despair, hope;
Where there is darkness, light;
And where there is sadness, joy.
O Divine Master,
Grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console;
To be understood, as to understand;
To be loved, as to love;
For it is in giving that we receive,
It is in pardoning that we are pardoned,
And it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.
Micheal, in the days that we met eachother here i never saw you without a smile, the last we spoke u left me with a laugh and a smile like you always did. you are a great creation of god to others and your family. you are loved in life and will remain loved till the end of time. you are missed deeply.
Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there; I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glint on snow,
I am the sun on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there; I did not die.
See Ya soon Mikie <3 R.I.P
Eternal rest grant onto him O Lord, let perpetual light shine upon him, may he rest in Peace. Amen.

I just want to say again I am very sorry for your loss. I just wish I knew him. I know he was a sweet young man because of the family he had. THANK YOU SO MUCH MICHAEL for everything you have done. You will never be forgotten. We Love You. Rest In Peace.
We offer our heartfelt sympathy to the family and friends of Sgt. Ingram and we honor his distinguished service to the cause of freedom and liberty. Sadly, America has lost one of its finest heroes, the U.S. has lost a friend and protector, and a family has lost an example of character and courage, which they will love and respect forever. Today, because of the sacrifice Sgt. Ingram has made, the house of freedom is stronger, sturdier, and more secure.
To the family and friends, of Sgt. Ingram, I would like you to know that a lot of people pray for you, and my hope is that their prayers will give you the strength necessary to carry on. Just as you were always with him when he was deployed overseas, know that he will always be with you wherever you may be. In the days to follow, may you be strengthened by the fact that Sgt. Ingram was a man distinguished by exceptional courage and will always be admired for his brave deeds and noble qualities. You, your family and your sacrifice will never be forgotten.
"Our debt to the heroic men and valiant women in the service of our country can never be repaid, they have earned our undying gratitude. America will never, ever forget their sacrifices."
Sgt. Ingram the flag of the United States of America has your blood sewn into the fabric; it shall forever wave in your honor.
Freedom requires sacrifice the protected will never know.
Patriot Guard Riders of South Texas

may you party with the king "Elivs" now and alway be watching over us. missng you everyday
the boys of 1st platoon,
These words that have come to me 'today'
I want to say 'Thank-You' for all that you've done
As a soldier, and who 'YOU'VE' become!
'A Fallin Soldier' now, is your title you see!
But your families know you better than me.
I feel for them and what they lost
'A HERO'... at a priceless cost!
May time heal all their sorrow
Remember... there is always tomorrow!
My Prayers are with them, only time will tell!
To give them the strength and the good will.
'This Hero' - is how I vision 'YOU'
A Soldier who did what they had to do!
You will 'NEVER' be fogotten - this is so true!
'Someone' of courage, through and through!
What did it cost to take you away?
It cost your life - and I say THANKS everyday!
We can now tell the stories and tell them... 'PROUDLY'
of 'OUR HERO' ...'AND TELL THEM LOUDLY!
You fought for your country, 'YOU'VE WON' you see!
Because you left behind your special memory!
Your family will always remember you
in different ways that I do!
You will always be known as this 'Fallin Soldier' you see.
This person who fought for my country and ME!

To the Ingram's,
I am deeply sorry for your loss. Being Michael's peer, I can empathize with the extent of your loss. I would like you to gain comfort from Isaiah 2:4 because this shows us that God has not forgotten about us even though it may feel that way when we go through trials like this. May you gain comfort from knowing that God is working on future blessings.
You are an angel in the heavens now looking over your mom and siblings. You will be missed so very much and everyday a memory will not go by without you in it. We love and miss you Michael!!! OX's
Your legacy will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew you and shared in your struggle to protect our country and the ultimate sacrifice you gave so that we can be grateful for what we have. Your family, friends, loved ones and fellow soldiers will stay in my thoughts and prayers.
A Proud Military Mom.
You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.
My heart breaks when I think of what you have given for us. Your life for our freedom. Thank you for answering the call to be a soldier. You encouraged my son Jared when he arrived in Afghanistan and then you became best buddies. Jared and our whole family mourn your loss as our own. We lost our son Jason in Iraq in April 2009. We never got to meet you in person as we would have liked. Thank you for your integrity and for being a great soldier who fought on the front lines of the infantry in Afghanistan. You will never be forgotten. Thank you for caring about my son Jared. Thank you for touching my life. RIP Ingram!
All of the stuff we have been through and gotten away with replays in my mind everyday. All the good times all the talks..Im luck to have know you during your life.You will always live forever in my thoughts and memories bro.
Our son fought beside you and he speaks of you with total respect. It saddens us to know you are no longer with us physically, but we are comforted in the fact you have gone on to your home in Heaven, this we believe wholeheartedly!! People say we have 'lost' someone when they die, but truly we have not....we know where you are and in that we are blessed and reassured you are safe and in peace!! Praise God for that gift to us!! Here's to your Eternal Life with Him!!! Respectfully,
My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.
You and your family will always be in my prayers.
You are a TRUE HERO!! Thank you for fighting for us! So brave and unselfish!! We need more people in the world like you! You will never be forgotten! You ARE Monroe's hometown hero!!
Thank you for being a brave young man. God bless you and rest in peace. We will never forget you. I'm sadden that we didn't get a chance to see you more but glad we got a chance to know you.
Thank you for all the memories, your a great friend. You will always be missed but never forgotten.

For you every single soldier
Those who served so honorable
Your life was forever altered
While I’m home safe and free
I stand with grateful admiration
I stand respectful and so proud
I know I’m only a civilian
And I don’t even know if it’s allowed
But I salute you; allow me the honor
to salute you with permission let me say
Even though I hold no rank know that from my heart
My humble gratitude comes from the deepest part.
I salute you.
For those missing in action;
for those who didn’t make it home.
I know you’re in God’s presence you are not alone.
For every neatly folded flag;
for every shattered family
I will do the only thing I know to dignify your memory.
I salute you, allow me the honor
to salute you with permission let me say
even though I hold no rank know that from my heart
my humble gratitude comes from the deepest part.
I salute you .

The Final Salute
“Brothers in Arms”, Military men and women down through the centuries, have traditionally exchanged “Hand Salutes” as a sign of recognition and as a way to render courtesy and respect one to another.
This “Hand Salute” is the last that we shall render to our Brother-in-Arms SGT. Michael Ingram. To his family it symbolizes the love and respect that we have for Michael. And to Michael it is rendered as a symbol of honor and gratitude to thank him for the ultimate sacrifice he made for his country while opposing enemy forces in Afghanistan. No greater love is shown than a man lay down his life for another. Michael, you are a brave American Warrior, a true Patriot and a national Hero. With your passing, our Country has lost a National Treasure. We bid you a sad farewell. You will be dearly missed from among our ranks. Be at ease. Rest in Peace.
