Phyllis was my favorite comedian of all time. She inspired me to laugh and not dwell on the negative. She was a true friend, and I loved her. I remember when she entertained a college crowd at Wayne State College in Nebraska. I was in my Masters study at the time. I sent her a bouquet of flowers before her show and she was forever greatful, she been sent me a thakyou note. "What a trooper!"
