I pray that he may grant you through the abundance of his glory to be made mighty in the man you are inside, with power through his spirit… (Ephesians 3:16) In this time of loss of someone special in your lives be comforted to know God cares and will help you to endure.

My sympathies to the family of Riccardo Cassin. May they find comnfort in the Creator and the Son who made the mountains that he enjoyed so much.

I too was born in Italy and share the love of mountains espacially around Lake Como, my birth city. My parents, and especially my mother, climbed the same mountains around Lecco. I feel they must have met on some mountain there at some point and hope that they are climbing together in a better place now.
Prego che il buon Dio benedisca tutte e due.
Con gran rispetto per un gran montanaro.

His story shows we can overcome obstacles in all aspects of our life. May his family and friends find comfort in the promise of Revelation 21:4 "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away".

I've always been a flatlander and could never understand why anyone would love mountains.I do,however, admire anyone that chases his dream at any cost.

I have never met this man,
but am inspired by his story
and his love of the mountains.
