The Mounts took me right into their family when Julie and I became roommates in 313 Watson at UVA, carrying me to apple orchards, Skyline Drive hikes, and myriad picnics. Then I shared Christmas Day celebrations with them once Julie's twins were born. I did not know Mr. Mount had died until JUST NOW when preparing to attend Jesse's wedding. But I know he will love meeting my daddy, a fellow phone company retiree, in heaven. I always wondered if the computer matched Julie and me as roommates because both our home addresses started with 1813! Synchronicity leads to perfect friendship.
To the family of Robert Mount...my thoughts are with each of you. Mr. Mount has found his peace, may you do the same.God bless each and everyone of you.

Mr. Mount was a great friend and neighbor. From the "great pumpkin" to croquet tournaments, he created many good memories. He will be sorely missed, and I send my prayers and best wishes to the family.
Mary Ellen, I am so sorry you lost your Dad so suddenly. I know this is a sad time for you and your family, and you will be in my prayers,
