Just as no man has power over the spirit or can restrain the spirit, so no one has power over the day of death. Just as no one is discharged during a war, so wickedness will not allow those who practice it to escape. All of this I have seen, and I applied my heart to every work that has been done under the sun, during the time that man has dominated man to his harm. (Ecclesiastes 8:8,9). Patricia is missed by family and friends and prayers continue to pour out for his family may you all have peace.

Sigrid...Who could forget
you role in Hogans Heros?

WEEP NOT FOR ME

Do not weep for me when I no longer dwell among the wonders of the earth; for my larger self is free, and my soul rejoices on the other side of pain...on the other side of darkness.

Do not weep for me, for I am a ray of sunshine that touches your skin, a tropical breeze upon your face, the hush of joy within your heart and the innocence of babes in mothers arms.

I am the hope in a darkened night. And, in your hour of need, I will be there to comfort you. I will share your tears, your joys, your fears, your disappointments and your triumphs.

Do not weep for me, for I am cradled
in the arms of God. I walk with the angels, and hear the music beyond the stars.

Do not weep for me, for I am within you;
I am peace, love, I am a soft wind that caresses the flowers. I am the calm that follows a raging storm. I am an autumns leaf that floats among the garden of God, and I am pure white snow that softly falls upon your hand.

Do not weep for me, for I shall never die, as long as you remember me...
with a smile and a sigh.

Dear Sigrid,

I was to hear of your passing. I heard that you are Latvian and so am I. It is great to see that there are some Latvian entertainers. I had always wondered since Hogan's Heroes went off the air of what happened to you. I liked the show and I still like to watch it. Uz redzeit.

Patty Crane portrayed very convincingly a lovely German maiden on Hogan's Heroes. Midway through the show's run, I was stationed in West Germany, and had the opportunity to meet and date some young women similar to"Hilda". They weren't familiar with the series, but were friendly and outgoing like she was. Only later did I fully understand why hard feelings between the elder Germans and we troops remained for decades. When I watch Hogan on TV Land, it's like reliving my years in the land of Klink and Schultz.

To the family of Pat Crane: Your mother was so genuine. I spoke with her when I cared for her mother at Knott Ave Nursing Home. Her mother kept bragging about her daughter Pat and during an update I asked if I knew her. She was modest but spoke to me for over 20 minutes aboute her favorite times and mentioned her illness. All I could do was wish her the best and continue to check on her mother and keep her informed. You may have lost the physical Pat Crane, but her spirit and memory will live on. Best Regards. There is no such thing as "death," it's only an illusion this thick dimension creates. Sadly, the seperation it creates is real (for the time being). We'll see our loved ones again. And think of the wonders and joy she is experiencing right now! Bob's takin' her on a tour!

To the family of Patricia Crane,

I feel for your loss and words cannot express my sorrow as so many fond memories have gone on to heaven's greener pastures, especially John Banner, Werner Klemperer, and Leon Askin. May she now be welcomed with open arms by her husband Robert and may the Blessings of the Lord open the way to the after life. May God Bless You and Keep You.

In My Pocket

I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.

My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.

They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.

Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.

But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.

Be Still

Be still like the grass on a melancholy summer day
Be still like desert shrub.

Be calm and you will hear your loved one speak, in the stillness, in the calm, their love resounds.

If you are still this promise I make, you will hear the voice of your loved one helping you along your way.

I remember watching "Hogan's Heros" with my father on a black & white tv in our basement. You were so pretty & such a fun character, flirting with Colonel Hogan, while helping him with his plots to escape the concentration camp.

Rest In Peace, Sigrid Valdis. Your fans will always remember you.
