My deepest condolences to the Covey Family on the passing of a great man, inspirational leader, visionary, philosopher - Stephen Covey. From his first book to his last lecture, Stephen Covey will remain a living memory and legacy as a leader and teacher in human development and business. He will be missed, but his principles and teachings will remain alive in me. Although I never met him, Stephen Covey was personal mentor in my life. His wisdom and compassion have made a real difference in my life.
Its shoking to learn this late that you are gone my life changer. If I did not read 7Habbits of Highly Effective People on time, I'd be nothing in this world. You touched my life in a special way. Go in peace.
Mr. Covey, I mourn your loss. My employer introduced me to your "teachings" in 1994 and I have tried to "live" them ever since. What a gentle man you were...so very kind and caring.
Reading this Obituary somehow rekindles my likeness for Stephen Covey...Never had the opportunity to meet this great man, but his books have inspired me tremendously. I think he started and ended successfully. Though in arrears, my deepest sympathies to the family.
I have read Dr.Steffen Covey's "7 Habits of highly succesful people" as well as the "8th Habit" and plan to read all his books.I have started reading his books only this year, after Dr.Covey died, and it shows the legacy he has left even after he is gone. It was sad that God took away a person who has made a difference to the life's of so many people.Nilkanth (Ravi) Jatar
I had the opportunity of benefiting from the gems of wisdom in Covey books.7 habits of highly effective and First things fast books have transformed my life. Its been a paradigm shift.I thank God for giving us Steve and using him to impact mankind all over the world.
Gracias Stephen por compartir con el mundo tu aprendizaje y descubrimientos, dejando un aporte invaluable para que este sea un lugar mejor para todos. Te recordaré siempre a través de tus enseñanzas.
My life is forever better because you cared enough to share your wisdom. Thank you, Mr. Covey. You are a rare blessing.
Muchas Gracias Stephen Covey. Muchas condolencias a su familia.
I missed this sad news, really. I have just completed my PhD thesis and wanted Stephen to be my external examiner of the thesis. I am a Muslim, but Stephen writes more Islamic things in nature. That is why I want him to be my thesis examiner. And then I knew that he has returned to the AlMighty. It breaks my heart. My heart goes to his family. God gives us strength and steadfastness.
I knew Stephen Covey solely through his writings and one video. He is one of the most influential people in my life. My 7 Habits Day Planner keeps his spirit with me, guiding me in my work to make this a better world for children.
I worked at Covey Leadership Center in Provo for just a year. In that time I had the opportunity to attend the Seven Habits week long retreat! It changed my life! I am honored to have just that small experience, with such a great man. Deepest sympathy to his family.
I found out this morning this wonderful man passed away. I lived in Texas at the time so I guess the news didn't get to me. I have always admired this man, and I enjoyed his obituary so much that I will read it to my family at our scripture time tonight. I want my children to know about his early morning victories. Thank you, and I am sorry for your loss.
I am so emotional in hearing about his death. He was a man with a lot of wisdom. I loved the willingness that he had to research what it meant to have an effective life and teach us. I learned so much from him.
ENCONTRE UNO DE SUS LIBROS Y QUIERO QUE SEPAN EL GRAN CAMBIO QUE ESTA LECTURA A CAUSADO EN MI VIDA QUE DIOS LO BENDIGA POR LLEGAR A LO MAS PROFUNDO DE NUESTROS CORAZONES GRACIAS
i didnt know him but i know from heaven he'll be there and god bless him....im khadijah curryand in my class we're doing something about being an effective leader and he wrote a good book!:)

Thank you Mr Covey for your contribution. The world is a better place because you were in it.
Peace and healing to all who are close to this remarkable person. He is with the Savior and no fear.
I am so sad to hear this. I had to do some research on his book 7 habits of highly effective people for class. And came to the website and saw this. The world is now missing an angel that was on Earth to guide people to a better life.
Here the time is 1AM in night, just came to know the demise of Covey, feeling so much love for him, we miss him, but his teaching remin for ever to inspire generations... My well lived life by following his teaching is the honour to the great legend, may his soul rest in peace, I pray god for him... J Sampath, Chennai, India.
WOW. I am at a lost for words. I was just introduced to this book today. I am attempting to help my love to complete an assignment for the first chapter. When I decided to go to the website I discovered this great lost. I had just finished reading the foreword. I wept through the whole reading. This is how I felt all of my life. Yet, I felt that no one understood me. I was visiting the site so that I could make an invitation to Dr.Covey. I was hoping he could speak with my students, inspire them. I will read the entire book, and others. However, my heart is aching. Finally, someone who understands my heart. I only wish that I had the opportunity to meet him. I guess I will have to meet him in Heaven someday. Thank you Dr.Covey. The angels are rejoicing in Heaven. Thank you for validating my belief that there are things more important than what the world has been seeking. I used to think that I was a strange person. Now, I know that I am on the right track. Thank you. My condolences to the family. You are Blessed to have had him in your lives.
I just noticed today that one of the most influencial persons in my life has passed away. He changed my life and the life of people that I am responsible at my family and my company in Colombia (SouthAmerica), now I will recreate both since 2012, inspired again by Stephen, thank you very much, I can never forgett that nothing is impossible as you teach me and now I know is in my mission to replicate it to the world, I won't disappoint you.
My condolences for your loss of your Papa and Grandfather. We were lucky to have him because he taught us/me so much! He changed my life by making me find my "First Things" and helped me organize my life! Blessings!
What a wonderful light he was. How much he helped me to have a better life, be a better person! May he be blessed!
Your thoughts and teachings remains in the minds and heart of those who follow you. Thank you for inspiring me through your works.
I will leave a legacy and I owe that fact to Dr.Covey. He made a huge impact on my life.
As and empoyee of Thrifty Foods of Burlington, Washington we were presented with the Steven Covey program. It was very enlightening. Things we learned have stayed with me through my life.
God Bless ... thank you for your legacy and the education....
Dr Covey left on me a legacy, the legacy of trust and greatness that cover all my human being. Thanks to Dr Covey because through your greatness I grew up from deep inside. He achieved on me one of his most important goals: his legacy will stay on me for ever.
I was one of his biggest fan. His writings and teachings impacted my life and the lives of others, as I shared his knowledge and insight. Blessings and peace always.
Stephen Covey changed my life. I will forever be grateful for what he taught me.
The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People had a profound change and impact in my life back in 1988. The "Paradigm Shift" allowed incredible personal and professional growth for me. I attribute my successes since the day I read this book to the underlying principles. I later became a certified trainer for the company I was working for and loved teaching the habits. I was able to later meet Stephen in a small group in San Antonio TX where he entered the room and picked me amount immediately by walking across the room and rubbing my bald head. God Bless Stephen I know you were happy with "Your End In Mind".
After reading Stephen's book the 7 Habits of Highly effective People I soo wanted to meet him. Unfortunately, that wish has died along with a great man. I have the audio program of his work on my ipod and I listen to it with regularity - that must be the best tribute I can give. Sorely missed, RIP, Stephen.
Stephen Covey had a tremendous impact on me for good. I never met him in person, but he influenced me more than any other teacher in my life. I will miss him tremendously and always treasure his teachings. I'm very sorry for your family's loss.
"7 Habits of Highly Effective People" has substantially changed my thinking and approach to life. It was a paradigm shift. After reading this book, I bought all the other available books by Stephen R Covey. My personal life and professional life have been completely changed by the profound, yet fundamental insights into human endowments. I always view him as one of my best teachers. To that, I owe him great gratitude. Thank you and Goodbye (with tears), Dr. Covey.
After reading Dr. Covey's famous book the 7 Habits of Highly effective People I had a burning desire to meet him. Yet after the zeal to follow the principles in his book had died down the wish to meet Dr. Covey remained and then his death brought that to an end as well. I think the best tribute would be for me to read his book again and act on it this time. Goodbye Dr. Stephen Covey!!
I discovered his work many years ago. Thank God for giving us Stephen Richards Covey. His work has never been far away and I continue to use the skills I have learned with great success.
To Live, to Love, to Learn, to Leave a Legacy. Thank you for a life well lived, Dr Covey.
May the Lord's peace be with your family.

I am Polish. I read ''7 habits..." 3 weeks ago and since then I am changed. I think that I am a better person and I feel as if I knew him in person. Great man has just passed....
Our deepest condolences to the family of Dr. Covey.
A group of devoted readers and practitioners of Prof. Covey's habits.
I was exposed to and reflected on Covey's work in Global Health Program I have been involved in a couple of months ago. His contribution to the world in exceptional and eternal. He dies a hero, while championing at a personal level for good health; while riding a bicycle. I don't mind dying for health just like he.

It's a very sad time. The Covey family has lost their husband, father, grandfather and friend. And the world has lost a great teacher and mentor.
Dr. Covey profoundly influenced my life and that of my teenage daughter who eventually wrote a book partly inspired by the principles of the 7 habits. Covey's teachings and legacy will live on forever!
I am a Thai. I have read almost all of Dr.Covey's books and they have changed my life for the past 16 years. In my personal mission statement, I included the 7 Habits as my life's guidance next to my religion, Buddhism. And I will teach my teenage son to practice the Habits. I consider Dr.Covey one of the greatest life-philosophy thinkers of our time. He had a great gift in organizing and presenting his ideas in a very logical, clear, systematic and convincing way. I feel sorry today to have lost my hero.
I just caught a spelling mistake in Dr. Stephen Covey's Quotation. The error was made by Editor-in-Chief for ConnectCare Connections. To make sure I was right, I searched for Dr. Stephen Richards Covey on the internet. We are all surprised to learn demise of his mortal image, but I am sure he is IMMORTALIZED in the hearts of millions of community LEADERS.

My condolences go out to the Covey familly. He influenced my life and I am really thankfull for that.
I thought I just randomly found Stephen Covey's website which happened to be on July 16. I found myself back there today to find he had passed. I'm not so sure it was random at this point but I am sure I missed meeting a great man. I am very sorry for your loss.
I am very happy to know about you many years ago. Your influence through your messages in the 7 habits and many other books really have changed the way I see my life. I have changed for good. I am also inspire and commited to help and lead the change to other minds in my family, in my church, in my neighborhood, in my work place.
Definitively God have a special place for a complete man like you.
Rest in peace.
Dear Mrs. Covey & Family,

Know that the Filipinos "loved him back" and we'll have memorial services this Monday 5:00pm. With love, from our family to yours. The Ciriaco family
Mrs. Covey and family, tonight our pastor reported your lost. We offered prayers for you and your family. I was introduced to your husband's gift to the world this summer. Listening to the 7Habits during travel was a mini retreat for me. Ossun Elementry, where I am a second grade teacher, is in the process of adopting the Leader in Me as part of our mission.
To hear about your loss I was touched by the Spirit to let you know that even down here in Louisiana, your husband has and will continue to touch lives. May you know the peace of Chirst in your loss.
Thank you for your friendship. You made a tremendous difference in our lives. You were love never judgment. Love from, Dwight & Julie Hooker
Dear Mr. Covey,
Many thanks for helping me to become a better human being; for teaching me, in a charming way, the best words to interact with people everywhere; for letting me share your experience with people who need it.
Stephen Covey has had a great influence on my life and continues to do so. His ideas have influenced my teaching and continue to change lives everywhere. Our world has lost a great voice. Godspeed on your journey into larger life Dr Covey.
Stephen Covey is like a Tree planted beside streams of water, that the Bible talks about. I am sincerely great full for the seeds (and other trees) that the fruit that he bares is producing, in me and throughout all of creation. He has been like a mentor to me through the example of himself, through his books, videos, family and life. Thank you to the Covey family for the contributions that you have made and I hope will continue to make, for the betterment of society and throughout all of existence. Thanks.
Dear Mr Covey,
no words can express how much you meant to my family and me. You have changed our life so profoundly like nobody has ever before. You will always be in our hearts. God bless you and all of your family.
I write from Nairobi, Kenya from where I mourn the passing of a man who will never leave us. Generations will read and follow his example with success beyond measure. As a people who lived in his time, we are truly blessed to have known him and seen his example of struggle and joy from living the 7 Habits of Highly Effective People.
Desde que leí a Stephen Covey hace más de diez años, mi vida personal y profesional cambió. He adoptado sus hábitos como propios. Dejó un legado muy importante en mi vida. Descanse en paz.
Tijuana, Baja California
Thank you , Stephen, for forever changing a little family in southern Indiana for generations to come. Here's to keeping the saws ever sharp!
I know this Man blessed my life even though he did not know me I attended many events he was at and read his books and listened to his tapes for years. He was truly a Servant of our Heavenly Father and returned with honor.....Love Comfort and Blessings to you the family always
Pres. Covey was my husband's Mission President in Ireland. I can see so many aspects of my dear husband's life that have been inspired by a great mission leader. I, too, was touched by his life through my study of 7 Habits. How grateful we both are for his life and talents that have blessed our lives. We wish comfort and love to his whole family.
Brother Covey, your words of truth helped a struggling 19-year old girl get back on firm ground. Now, over 20 years later, your advice to "live your life in crescendo" spurs me on to a better future. Thank you so very much. My prayers will be for your beautiful family during this time of loss.
Steven Covey was perhaps the greatest teacher that has ever lived. His legacy will last as long as there are people on this earth. He learned from his mistakes and developed a way of thinking that others can learn to avoid their mistakes. But more importantly, how to be proactive in leading an effective and purposeful life.
Your teachings were lifechanging for me! I will always work in my circle of influence...thank you from the bottom of my heart. RIP.
I have thanked our Heavenly Father for Dr Covey's teachings many times- they have been a guiding light to me. It is strange to realize that I love this man without ever having met him personally. May God bless his family at this time and always, and may God bless the message, in both word and legacy, that Dr Covey has left behind for the world to know.
Godspeed - You will always be part of the firmament of Great teachers - Our Hindu tradition always values and remembers Teachers rather than any Royalty or Military geniuses.
Yours was a blessed life and may it be blessed all of eternity. My heart goes out to your beloved Sandra and family - I pray for your soul and for that of humanity - that was what you taught me.
Sir - Rest in Peace eternally - The Lord has ensured that you have earned your passage to Heaven by being a World Teacher.
You were a blessing to the wide world - Rejoice in the Lord's realm now that you have been called to embellish the same.
Stephen we wont forget your sweet words--like "keeping the main thing the main MAIN THING"
Dr. Covey and his work have changed my life personally, professionally and in my church service. As my school became a "Leader in Me School" I have seen the impact this work can have on young children and their families. Dr. Covey exemplifies the principles he taught: humility, respect, fidelity, responsibility, compassion, courage, etc. In a world devoid of true heroes, he is mine.
You and other great seers have guided me to a path only I can take. I am beginning to live the 8th habit.
Thank you Dr. Covey, your words will light up my days.
Simply two words.... THANK YOU!
God Bless you Dr Stephen Covey ! Thank you for being a guiding light ! You will be sorely missed from this planet. R.I.P
Deepest sympathies to his family.
Dr Covey, all your words through your books, your talks or wherever published changed my life and millions of others. You have significantly contributed in a great way to make this world a better place to live in by changing the way people look at life and their environment. Your principles will be a legacy to the world forever....
Even today I hear your voice talking about the private victory. It has thought me to proactively look at me before pointing my fingure at others. You changed me. May you rest in peace. My deepest sympathies to the loved ones he leaves behind.
Thank you Sir for everything. May your Soul rest in peace.
Steven Covey influenced my life extremely positively and will for ever be grateful. Very sad that he is gone!
All his writings are pragmatic , useful to be followed in the lifetime to become a good person.
Death is inevitable and Dr. Covey lived a fruitful life where he touched millions of lives positively. I had the privilege of attending one of his classes over a decade back in Minneapolis and I would never forget the simple manner in which he demonstrated to keep the bigger priorities in our lives first. It is a big loss to humanity and his invaluable contribution to enrich our combined consciousness will always be remembered. I shall pray for the peace of your soul Dr. Covey.
You have my deepest sympathy. May good memories provide solace for your family during this challenging time; and may God provide you with the assurance that you will see your loved one again in Paradise. John 17:3
My dear friend, neighbor, employer and mentor. Your special gift of inspired wisdom and common sense has changed our world forever. You will never be forgotten, nor diminished with time. Your legacy lives on in our hearts as we still strive to live according to the truths you taught. Go with God.
Dr. Stephen R. Covey
The impact you had on me, I'm so tremendously sorrowed, as a young man I was expecting and wishing one day to meet and speak with you. To speak to you about more clarification of understanding of your teachings, and to finally thank you. It has been almost 8 years since I picked up and read the 7 habits. Throughout those years and to presently I reread and review the book especially through tough times. Times that I evaluate, and I question for an answer. Amazingly when digging in I find the suitable response for the circumstance. With so many things I try to keep busy with myself, and the feeling that I'm still learning, and that I'm still in the process to Master your teachings, Although it may be an Early stage in my life to accomplish that, I regret with so much pain that I couldn't meet you in this world, to get those things I wanted answer from your teachings from your own opinions would have been I assume magical and the most treasured to me. I know deep in my heart that's how it would have measured. Tuesday morning when I heard this news, I felt what I feared of this day, the fear of what me the student that is still learning, from losing the Master Teacher, or its Greatest Leader, or losing the voice for so many people. I'm sure many people all over the world felt like this when hearing about you. A theme that you reflected was for all the work you provide on principles, that they have always been in existence since the history of beginning of this world, and that they are in our conscience for us to live up to them, and That you as a person try not to take credit for these principles. That may be true, but you did the work to deeply understand principles in relation to existence of human beings. To tell us that they exist and they always have, and will continue to be constant. I thank you for that. The moment I first read your work, there were parts that I felt inside I was waiting for it to be expressed and I firmly believe. Than other parts that blew my mind, things that I really looked at for the first time. When reading your work you get a sense of uniformity, that no matter whom you are, or what part of the environment or world you come from it is relevant. From the examples and learning's you portray from all types of people in this world is so widespread. The understandings of every corner of the world's philosophy, religion, wisdom literature, science, history and etc…are tremendous. You found the patterns of all these different literature and times which was very genius. In your work all of principles lead us to be a leader of our own life. I believe you have described the principles of the ultimate leader. Which you Say Gandhi were, that real leadership is moral authority not formal authority. Gandhi didn't have any formal position to use as power, but had the hearts, mind and conscience of the people. Same with Nelson Mandela, Martin Luther King Jr, and that all these men you said had the heart to forgive and not hate the very side that hated them, while they were pursuing justice. Dr. Covey I know I will meet you physically in the next world, I know you are there. Your work inspired millions and will continue to inspire throughout people, and societies throughout history of time. By your work you are presently still with us, and from your work I expect more will continue, as you say “your most important work is always ahead “. It amazes me how you taught empathy. Obviously you are of the most empathizer, through your action and lessons of your life, which you display in your work it is apparent. That blend added an incredible uniqueness. This is a celebration of Joy with God. So unique in this age to have one of the great thinkers of time that will continually change minds forever. Thank you So much Dr. Covey with much love, until next time, which we will continually learn, and look for those moments to help follow our conscious, you will be there.
I loved his wisdom and teachings. They'll both be missed.
Howie Nestel (San Antonio, TX)
The world has lost a great man but his teachings will continue to make it a better place.I only revently read the 7 habits, but it has had a profound effect on me. This sad news strenghtens my resolve to live by the universal principles he taught.
Thank you Stephen, and may you rest in peace. You and your family will be in my thoughts today.
Thank you for your lifetime of service. We are all better because of your applied kindness.
Dr Covey, when I listened to your audiobooks, I felt like you were talking to me personally. This makes your passing feel like the loss of a personal friend. You were my mentor in a time of turmoil.
Your voice will always remind me that true success is living according to your values, where your values are aligned to true principles. I will continue to meditate on the wisdom literature, of which your texts have become a part.
Stephen Covey changed my life ... A great friend signed up to a Covey course 16 years ago. From that day my life changed for good!!
Thank you Stephen!!!
Our family has been enriched with the wise and inspired teaching of Dr. Covey. I am rereading the book in honor of your patriarch and feel enriched just as the first time. I had him as a prof. at BYU in the late 70's and it is true how he made everybody feel as if they could make a difference. His teachings in the O. B. class have definitely made a difference in my approach to life.He even wanted to copy my class notes because he liked them so much how I created drawings of the concepts. It made me feel very good. Add our blessing to his service Saturday July 21, 2012. A smile from Judy
Stephen's work has been the driving force in my life. His wisdom & impact will continue to live on. RIP Stephen.
I took classes from Dr. Covey in the 70's & 80's at BYU and have studied many of his books including Spiritual Roots and Seven Habits. I feel I have lost a dear friend and counselor and am truly saddened to hear of his tragic passing. I know he leaves behind a marvelous legacy in his family. May you all find peace and comfort through your faith and Stephen's teachings.
Stephen gave a seminar to management of ZCMI Cottonwood many years ago. It was wonderful. It was inspiring and influenced all who attended. Years later I was working at Franlin Quest in Human Resources and was there during and after the merger. It was a great experience working with such great leaders. I will always cherish those memories and the special lessons Dr. Covey shared with us. My heart and prayers go out to this wonderful family. God bless you all. Sincerely, Jan Frost-Larsen Sorensen.
Dr. Covey, thank you for teaching me not only how to teach others but to work at staying aligned to my core. It has been an honoring working with you for 22 years. Terry Lynn Burel, Lithia, FL
May you rest in peace. You were a strong and positive influence in many lives. Thank you for your wise contribution to this world. I will forever cherish what you have taught me. Your legacy will carry on forever. I will always be one of your biggest fans. I have the utmost respect for you and appreciate your dedication. My sincerest condolences to your family.
Many years from now, a dear friend gave me this tape saying to me I should listen to it. I just put it into my tape player in the car and started listening. And I was taken by it ever since. It was a taped seminar by Stephen Covey about the seven habits. I read most of his books, infected friends and family and have nowadays regular get togethers with my friends to talk and discuss chapter(s) of the various books. Stephen, you are and will stay a big inspiration to me. Thanks for influencing my life in such an amazing and loving way!
Dr. Covey changed & shaped the course of my life when he guided me to develop my personal mission statement. He was and always will the biggest influence in my life and the person who made me who I am today. Since mid 90s I have been sharing his views his perspectives of life to thousands of my seminar/training participants. He guided millions of us to find our voice and inspired us to do likewise with others whom crossed our path in this life. Dr.Covey, WE are your biggest LEGACY because you will live in us forever and you will outlive your life through millions of us! Thank You Sir! We are very certain you will rest in peace! With highest gratitude, Mehan (Malaysia)
Dear Covey family,
I sympathize with you on the passing away of an author that I cherished so much.
The news of his death came as a shock to me. My family has been blessed through his books.
The Lord shall grant you the grace to go through this period of bereavement.
I remember sitting with you at Paul's, eating ice cream, and you telling me about this neat missionary you had met while at the dedication of the Swiss Temple. What a wonderful blessing to have so many wonderful years with that guy. God bless you and your family, you are in our prayers.
Reading (and re-reading) Stephen's 7 Habits have been the most redefining moments of my life. I'm so thankful for his gift to the world. My prayers and thoughts are with the family.
Stephen R. Covey has changed definitly my view of my life. Thanks a lot to this great man ! I'am integrating day by day his 7 habits and I am developing my capacities in teaching Stephen's thoughts because I believe in his words that teaching a habit is the best way to learn a habit.
I am very saddened by the news of Dr. Covey passing away. The world lost a great teacher.
His life was a mission, a principle- centered mission. A mission that brought light, and hope to millions of people around the world.
Being trustworthy, having an integrity, compassion towards others...
He teached the truth, the true living.
Dr. Covey began the journey with the end in mind. At the end, he passed the torch to millions to carry and find their own voice.
His teachings will live forever in our hearts, minds, and spirits.
Farewell to the Greatest Teacher of Our Times...
Dr. Covey had an amazingly positive impact on my life. I have read most of his books, and they all helped me become a better person. He will be missed.
Cynthia, I send my love in the loss of your dad. We always know the time will come, but that never makes it any easier when it happens. I treasure my time with mom and dad. What a blessing to have a loving family, a wonderful father who loved you all. He's taught us all so many good lessons as we've observed him throughout his life. I look forward to applying what he's taught, in making sure that I spend enough time with the Savior each day. We send our love to all of you.
He was a great influence for my family. He spoke at my college graduation and inspired me to do good things. His humble demeanor wins you over and his straightforward delivery makes you a believer of his not-so-common, common sense. My husband read his book every time he got discouraged. After he is reunited with his loved ones, I'm sure my late husband was in line to shake his hand and thank him for his inspiring words. God bless your family.
I have just came to know about Stephen Covey's book 7 habbits just today. I was interested to know about him.I searched about him and found out the sad news. It is very evident that he has infuenced millions across the globe. May his soul rest in peace.

Stephen Covey is a Change Agent, Philosoper, Guide & Mentor in my life for the past 16 years !!
He will ever continue to guide me !!
Thanks Stephen, for some much needed coaching. Your teaching helped bring some focus to this chaotic person. Next to the Bible, The Seven Habits has had the most impact on my life.
So sad. You made such a difference to so so many people, thank you.
Thanks for being such a inspiration for many of us.
Most of the people lives without that none notice their existence. A minor part represents a significant influence as long as their life. A much more restricted people leaves a sign that continues well beyond even the memory or knowledge of their same name. Stephen certainly belongs to this magical circle. Thank you.
Stephen Covey is a great man of history..
He lived, learned, loved and left a legacy.
My very Dear Dr Covey !! You left an empty space inside me. I so much wanted one day to meet u.
Even Being very far, in Mauritius, your books & videos has inspired me. U have helped me to find my VOICE. U have touched my life.
Dear Sir, My Respect & LOVE to U.

"You will keep inspiring us Stephen."
My sympathys to the family..My son, Stephen Downs, worked closely with President Covey as a missionary in Ireland and loved him dearly, He worked with him in the office as printer and learned so much from him.He also sang with the Mormonaires.
"The Habits" as I fondly refer to regularly with my children and have for many years, helped to guide our family and my professional life. I am profoundly greatful for the gift that he shared. No matter your religious affiliation, I believe that he touched us all, he certainly touched my soul. Thank you for sharing your dad. He will be missed but his legacy lives on through many of us and will through my generations to come. Susan
Condolences to the family and friends of Stephen.
His guidance will be sorely missed by those of us in the business community and by all who just wanted to improve themselves.

"Your inspiring energy has nurtured the light of hope in distant dark corners - it is eternal. Namaste
The Divine Center is my favorite book and has been and will continue to be my inspiration daily.
I have Stephen R. Covey to thank for helping me to make the decision to be baptized in the Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints. His book "Spiritual Roots of Human Relationships" was a given to me by a friend and it made all the difference. I met Brother Covey at a fireside somewhere and he autographed it for me and put down D & C 90:24 I was saddened to hear of his death but know that life is eternal as he did and I am glad that I was able to meet him that day. A very nice man.
Stephen, your wisdom completely transformed my life, both physically and spiritually. Forever l will carry your legacy forward. You are an inspiration to many, a world hero. R.I.P
My life has been profoundly influenced by Stephen Covey. His emphasis on integrity, character, and relationships as the basis of true success deeply resonated with me.
Thank you, Stephen, for the life-lessons you have taught us.
I will be forever grateful for the opportunity to have President Covey as my mission president! He was such a tremendous person and a great example for all of us. So much of what I am today is due to this great man!
Sis. Covey you and your family will certainly be in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
Your legacy (the lessons we learned from your books) makes a difference in many people lives..Thank u
You have changed my life and you will be forever missed!
I found Jesus then I found steve covey's teachings and he helped me grow in ways that i can't express. I thank God for opening my eyes to his work.
From the day I stepped off the plane at the Belfast airport as a missionary. I recognized my mission president as a remarkable man. I remember the ride down the hill into Belfast. President Covey was driving, obviously more interested in me and the others in the car than in driving. Sandra was nervously helping him keep an eye on the road while he turned around to talk to us. His enthusiasm was contagious. Down the hill we went and directly into a street meeting in the central city to bear our testimonies and learn how to speak to strangers on the street. Like hundreds of others, he absolutely changed my life by helping me change my perspectives. Eternally Grateful, Robert J. Cox
I will never forget the 7 habits. What an inspirational man. R.I.P. x
Prior to my mission, my Bishop gave me a copy of Spiritual Roots of Human Relationships. Next to the Scriptures, this book became a guiding influence in my life. Seven Habits coupled with a Franklin-Covey Day Planner have helped me achieve my goals, be more productive and most importantly brought me closer to the Lord. God bless the memory of Stephen R. Covey.
Way back in 1971, just one of hundreds but you connected with each of us. The empathy experience assignment was amazing. Still vivid in my mind ....your energy, humor and smile. Thank you.
Dear Mr.Covey. You are one of my role model and your words inspired me so much. Your words pierce through the intellect and reaches heart. Rest in Peace and GOD would have received you personally..
Dear Mr.Covey You were one of my leadership mentor. You gave the world a huge legacy for generations. We know you believed in Jesus, so I hope to see you in heaven and we can talk about leadership.
God bless your lovely family,
I like remeber you so: with your words.
Thank you very much
I'm not a christian but I loved your wisdom, rest in peace
I first read "Spiritual Roots" in 1972, right after my mission - I've read it at least 5 times since. My only regret upon reading it was that it hadn't been printed before my mission, so I could have applied its principles there. I had the privilege of taking 2 classes from Bro. Covey at BYU in 1974 and 1975 - I still have my notes from his Organizational Behavior class! He is truly one of the most inspirational and influential people in my life, and I'm grateful to have been touched by his teachings, his wisdom, and his love of the Savior. Truly one of the "noble and great ones"!
I first read the seven habits in 1995 as the mother of very active 8 year old and 4 year boys trying to balance a lot of things. Have used the planner ever since and so has my husband of 30 years. I never took the opportunity to personally hear Dr. Covey speak, but he still had a lasting influence by example as well as by word. He walked the talk.
I'm a Muslim from Egypt. Steven changed the way I see things in life into a more fulfilling experience; he made me see greater insights in my own beliefs. I will remain forever grateful to him.
read your words, saw u speak, shook your hand, next to the words of my father and the lord yours have been a deep source of learning thanks, you are already missed Joe ,New Orleans,La

I think that Stephen R. Covey has a wonderful Spirit I love reading his books and He played a big part in my growing up years. May the Lord be with your Family always. What a wonderful Legacy you will have.
I first read 7 Habits in 1993. I was thrilled to find a voice that put into words what I instinctively knew to be truth! I have applied 7 Habits to every facet of my life. God truly blessed this world when He sent Stephen Covey to share his life with all of us! Thank you Stephen for sharing your life and wisdom.
In loving memory of a great person. He makes the world a little bit better with his presence and his legacy will continue that greatness. Thx!
On the wings of Angels you fly in and out of our hearts forever.
You changed my life Stephen. Meeting you was inspirational. May you rest in glorious peace.
Dr. Covey was a distant mentor to me and my belief of our purpose in life. We all want to leave with the feeling the world is a little better than the way we found it. I believe he left the world a lot better. To live, to love, to laugh, to leave a LEGACY!
I have never met him before but your teachings in your book makes it look as if you are my personal advicer. My prayers go to his family, and may God grant you all the futitude to bear the loss.
I read Seven Habits of Highly effective people about eight years back. The principles of the book have helped in every aspect of my professional and personal life. It gives altogether different dimensions to every interaction you have with people with vastly different back ground. You start leaving life with purpose and positive energy. I credit my professional success to Stephen Covey. May God bless his soul with eternal peace.
Condolences and may we see you in the resurrection... The Holmgeirssons from the Philippines...
With gratitude for all your work that has inspired and changed many lives! Your life and work will be celebrated for many years to come through the principles you've taught and lived by. Thank you, Stephen Covey!
My heart goes out to Stephen's entire family. My last memory of him was when I attended a Sales Conference at Disney World. One evening my son James and I were at the China Pavilion when Stephen happened to be there on his scooter. A small group of us stood and watched the presentation "Reflections of China." He played "airplane" with James and we all enjoyed alot of laughs. That is only how James knows Stephen! He LIVED, he LOVED, he LEARNED and left ALL OF US such a LEGACY!
Thanks for your contribution to this world. Thanks for the impact in my life trough your books. Rest in peace. M.R.J
When my wife(Irene) and I first met we were both reading 7 Habits of Highly Effective People. Wow what a wonderful book that helped us then and continues to help us today. Your family is "a light upon the hill". Thank you and God Bless you and your family.

A few years ago I read some of Mr Covey's books in my educational leadership program and was really inspired. Mr. Covey will be missed and thank you for your books.
I already miss Steve and send, with Karen, our love and fond memories of you and Steve. Thank you for your lives. I first met Steve just days after my young mission enroute to a Y student leadership conference, and later shared responsibility for some training on campus. I always admired Steve's enthusiasm and smile. Thanks for being examples and allies in the Lord's work. Bless you all.
Dear Sister Covey and the Covey Family, My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time of loss. Thank you for sharing your husband, father, grandfather with the world. Our lives have been blessed and the world was made a bit better because of his wisdom and goodness.
The Principles that Pres. Covey taught me as a missionary in Ireland have molded my life. I have in turn passed them on to my children and they to their children. His legacy will live on forever. Our thoughts and prayers are with Sandra and all the family.
The God of the Mountain Top is still the God of the Valley Bottom. Gods Blessings this particular time. Dr. Enoch Kilonzo, Nairobi, Kenya
Dr Covey was a great influence in my life, I was excited to attend his trainings, read his books and put those learnings into practice. Myself, my family and friends as well as co-workers whom I was trained to teach in these principles have all benefited from his wisdom and insight. May you all be comforted in your time of sorrow. You were indeed Blessed to have such a great man in your family.
Thank you for sharing your wisdom, faith, and love for family- and success in living to all of us.

Dear Family: I was saddened to read of Steve's passing, earlier this week. I first met Steve while we were in Cambridge. My family had moved there in late 1928 and soon Dad was president of the Boston Branch which he moved to Cambridge for the Cambridge side of the Charles River was home to more Saints than Boston. It was years later that I returned to what had become the Ward, filled with many outstanding members. Sunday School and Ptiesthood meetings were memorable for the discussions which folks like Steve, Dick Buschman, Truman Madsen, Dick Anderson and others filled with wisdom, humor and learning. I can remember arguing with Steve and after all else was said, he concluded by quoting as authority his uncle.
I hope that your children, grand and great grandchildren will live to pass on to others the wisdom that your Dad shared with you. And I hope that we can all meet again on the other side of the veil, and go on to help fulfill the plans of our Heavenly Father. In the meantime, I pray that He will bless and keep you.
Your books were models for me personally and professionally. It was an experience meeting you. You touched numerous lives and we are thankful for your extended touch. Sympathy to your family. RIP.
May the love of family, friends and strangers give you comfort through this time of grief. Bless your dear father for his kind heart, his great intelligence, and his willingness to share all this with the world. It is a better place because of him.
We are truly saddened to learn of the passing of Dr. Stephen R. Covey. Stephen Covey was among the greatest of American inspirations .
We extend our deepest condolences to to the family of Covey. May his family, friends and loved ones, find peace and love in his spirit and memories.

A friend who always gave to others with no expectations of something in return. A man of leadership, courage, knowledge, and God.
God bless all of the dear Covey family. May you find peace in knowing what a gift Stephen was to the world. Thank you for sharing him and continuing his light by how you live and give. All who were taught and touched by his light will carry on living better lives because of him. I will miss him but am thankful that what he taught me and all who got to experience him is alive and makes the world a better place. Thank you dear Coveys for sharing him with the world. He was a true bright and shining light that has not gone out. May you find strength in knowing how much he accomplished in making the world better through the lives he touched. Peace and blessings.
Because of your amazing influence our school became a 7 Habits School. We are teaching the principles to each student and encouraging them to find their unique leadership gifts. Our staff are committed to learning and living the habits. It is changing the culture of our school. Your influence will go on.
A great light in the world has gone out. But Dr.Covey's life work will illuminate and improve lives for untold generations.
I have very fond memories of meeting Dr. Covey at the Dubai airport (as part of his Franklin Covey office in Dubai). He always loved a good joke and wore his toque to cover his head as he exited from the South African flight that we were meeting. He walked right by us before we recoognized him. It was difficult to get him out of the airport while he discussed "things that mattered" with the cleaning staff and the mothers and children. He engaged everyone that he met in very unique and meaningful conversations. My condolences to the Covey family! Rest in Peace.
Dr. Covey, the world is a better place thanks to you. It was my priviledge to work with you and an honor to travel with you and call you a friend. Until we meet again my friend!
Your legacy will continue beyond the veil. The Lord will bless you with "no empty chairs"
In sincere appreciation for your priceless contribution to the world and to my family.
May the peace of the restored gospel abide with your loved ones at this time, especially with your remarkable wife.

" You turned to be one very close friend, who I never meet",for shure you impacted my life in such positive way...what a gift! Mr. Covey!
I am deeply saddened by the loss of Dr. Covey from the world's landscape. He will be missed, his legacy will carry on for generations. What a blessing he has been to the world.
I've quoted some of his family stories in my parenting classes for years. Wonderful man who kept first things first.
Gone, but will never be forgotten. Thank you Dr. Covey.
Thank you, Dr. Covey. I remember the words to leave a legacy. Dr. Covey, you have left a great legacy. May God hold your family in the comfort of his hands
To the Covey family, I extend my deepest condolences. My own father passed away almost 2 months ago. At his funeral we read an article that he had recently written about his conversion to the church. In the part where he tells about his mission he wrote, "I was also very fortunate to serve in the Mission Home under the direction and guidance of Steven R. Covey, who is a great leader and mentor, whom I adored." He always spoke so fondly of Dr. Covey. I am so sorry for your loss.
Though I imagine that Dr. Covey wouldn't want anyone to be swallowed by grief, I am sad to the core. I feel as though I lost a beloved friend.
"Leave a legacy," Dr. Covey said ... indeed, none greater could be left.
Thank you Dr. Covey ... for your time, your magnificient work, and your heart. And, thank you Covey family for your many sacrifices and for allowing all the world to be drawn into your coven.
I shall mourn with you ... and then get about the business of giving Dr. Covey the greatest possible testamonial to his tireless work ... I shall grow in and live the 7 Habits ... to the best of my ability ... and until the day that I too shall rest in peace.
With all my heart,
I had the privilege of introducing him to a class of college students in April, 2011. It was the first time I had seen him since my MBA 40 years earlier. We had a personal exchange afterword. He looked up into my eyes and said, "Jim, congratulations on reaching the Private Victory." For those who know his philosophy, there could be no greater compliment. But HE is the person who has reached the real Private Victory. Heaven will be the better for his arrival there yesterday morning. His legacy is something most of us can't even dream of. RIP
A great educated and spiritual man. He will surely be missed. My condolences go out to your family.
It was such an honor to learn from and work with Stephen at Covey Leadership and FranklinCovey. He taught us all so much, not just by his wonderful teaching, but by is example. My sincere condolences to Sandra and his sons and daughters and all of his family. His untimely passing due to an accident has stunned us all, and he will be greatly missed. How fortunate we are to have his brilliant thinking to learn from for the rest of our lives. How blessed we are to have his example of a Christ centered life and love for family. He was truly a role model for me and, I know, for millions of others. God bless you, Stephen.
My condolence to the covey family.
We have lost a great guru.
As a new 26 year old Convert at the USC LDS Institute, Fall '57, I transferred to BYU as a Senior. This was the first year Stephen came to teach at BYU as a MBA graduate from Harvard. I went to all of Steve's Firesides and learned so many practial Gospel ways of living that I still remember them to this day. About 1970 Shauna and I got to know Stephen's dear wife Sandra and their delightful children when they came to live in Laie, Hawaii to write his first wonderful book "Spiritual Roots". It was inspiriing to see Stephen as a good example of a dad and husband to pattern my life after. I didn't have a brother in my family. Stephen became that brother.

Dear Family, I was in prison for about 14 years and found out about Stephen Covey from our warden. He would call some of the inmate leaders in his office and go over concepts from the book. The books that we were reading was "Principled Centered Leadership and First things First" which really helped us rehabilitate our lives. We all love you Stephen. Mikhail Muhammad 214.402.3470
My condolences to the family and the extended Stephen Covey influenced business family. Sad loss to the world of business leading from the front on principal based leadership, a quality that most of the business world could learn from... Influencing the business world with church orientated behaviour... May you assist people to sharpen the saw in the heavens...
Please accept our prayers and condolences for the family of such a great man. He influenced so many lives with his inspirational messages. I was fortunate enough to have seen him speak in person, read all of his books and still read his Daily Reflections of Highly Effective People. To quote his July 17th message "Whatever is at the center of our life will be the source of our security, guidance, wisdom, and power." May he rest in peace while the rest of us sharpen our saws.
We have lost a great source of inspiration and enlightenment in this world. His legacy is his family and those of us whose lives were changed by his teachings and inspired to dig deeply into our purpose. He will be missed by those who were touched during his lifetime and taught by those yet to hear his message.
Over the years I've read Mr Covey's books & found them very helpful-they're still on my bookshelf. Condolences to Mr Covey's family.
I teach college freshman basic skills, and use "Seven Habits..." to help them to become more successful students and adults. Thanks for your brilliance, leadership, and life advice. Your energy and words will live on in the many people you touched.

Stephen Covey was a light in this world. His 7 Habits of Highly Effective People was a masterpiece--very inspirational. I taught this course at UNCW in Wilmington, NC and wrote my mission statement while in instructor training. His life and work live on.

Dear Covey Family, Our heartfelt sympathy is extended to you in the loss of your husband, father, and grandfather. What an incredible legacy he has lived and left with you. He seemed so perfect in all he did. We know he has taught each of you those traits as well and you will all soar as a result of his teaching. The world and church has lost a noble and valiant person but he will live on in each of your lives. May you feel our Father in Heaven's comforting peace at this difficult time. The Cutler Family
Stephen Covey was a remarkable man. It was his value driven ideals that helped to create the Saturn culture and a wonderful place to work. Those of us who had the pleasure to work with him will always remember his enthusiasm and dedication. Prayers to his family and know that his legacy will live on.

Dr. Covey - you will be missed. I had the opportunity to spend a week in Sundance in the mid-80's with you. A life changing event for me. You we're the definition of integrity.
Feel very sad. Sorry for your loss and will miss his insight. Love listening to his words of wisdom. Vickie Hagman, Roosevelt, Ut.
Dear Sister Covey,
Back in 1964, as a recent convert, I had the opportunity of
spending Wednesday afternoons at the mission home in Belfast typing for President Covey. He was an inspiration to me, a wonderful example of a Latter Day Saint and instilled in me a desire to succeed.
He will be missed but not forgotten by those whose lives he touched in Northern Ireland.
We are so sorry for your loss. Jesus taught us to pray for God's Kingdom to come here on earth. That Kingdom will end pain and suffering and restore perfect life to our dear loved ones like Stephen R. Covey. Our prayers are with the entire family.
Sad to see such a great man leave us already. For me, he was a great professor in my MBA class, an insightful author on spiritual matters, human nature, and the timeless principles of leadership.
It was our privilege to meet some of his family and share our musical talents with them. And so open minded in one-on-one discussions in his BYU office!
Your words allowed light into a world hidden from view by a lack of awareness... You are missed
My heart goes out to Sister Covey and all your family in sincere sympathy at their personal loss in this life. The eternities will bring you all a joyful reunion.
Thank you for your example as a family leader in real life.
Thank you for your schooling in the Gosple of Jesus Christ. You will be remembered in the hearts of every Irish missionary.
Stephen Covey was a phenomenal person. His work influenced my career greatly and led to our school district being designated a "District of Leadership." His influence on the staff and students of our district is far-reaching. I enjoyed working with his son, Sean who shared his father's genuine nature and vision. The world is a greater place because of this father and his family! Darlene Darrow
He who binds to himself a joy,

But he who kisses the joy as it flies,
Lives in eternity's sunrise!
Thank you Stephen. You live in many hearts and eternity's sunrise. God bless.
I so enjoyed working with Cynthia, and Marie Covey in the Ireland Dublin Mission, they are testimony of what a great father Steven is. I have been greatly blessed by his books and teaching that will live on and become even more popular. My prayers with be with the family in this time of loss.
I met Bro Covey when he was just a young missionary in Liverpool, England, early summer of 1955. I was a very young pregnant military dependent, my husband being stationed at Burtonwood AB. Elder Covey came bouncing down the gorgeous stairway we had at our branch and looking at me said: "you will have a bouncing baby boy." Amazing, since only he and I thought so! It was a boy! He didn't remain in Liverpool long. He soon left us for the London Mission Home, leaving a huge impression on all of our Branch members, including this, then 18-year-old.
As a manager in a very difficult corporate culture in the early 90s, I discovered The 7 Habits and morphed into a leader who has been a model for others. As the friend who called me about his death stated, "I know he changed your life and the lives of many others". Rest In Peace, Stephen - a life well lived.
I share with you my deepest sorrow for President Covey. I can't begin to express the feelings I have. I loved him and you for the example and teaching while serving in Ireland. It literally changed my life forever.
What a blessing Stephen Covey has been to so many families!
To the the family of Stephen Covey - May God give you peace and comfort through his word and the Lord Jesus Christ during this time of sorrow, I know that he will be missed by many.
I loved his books and use his curriculum adapted for students. This focuses on developing good habits and beginning with the end in mind. A great man who left an awesome legacy.
We have lost a legend - Prayers are with his family. His "Seven Habits" will serve many more generations to come and he will "live on" and share his words of wisdom. M. Costic, Mary Kay Director
So sad to hear of Dr.Covey's passing. He made a huge difference in my life personally and provided a model for leadership I have used throughout my career. God bless.
God Bless the Covey family. He was a great inspirational voice to so many people. His books changed lives. I always looked forward to reading them, I learned so much from his series. He will be missed.
Thoughts & prayers go out to the Covey family. I've enjoyed Stephen Covey's books & getting to meet him during my tour in the Navy. Great person and may he R.I.P. All the best & God's blessings, Jimmy Paulk, USN, Retired.
In my first week of teaching 8th graders, I introduced them to ideas espoused by Dr. Covey. I was amazed at how much impact that had on my students' attitude, performance, and behavior. Thank you, Dr. Covey.
My sincere condolences to your family, and especially to your dear wife, Sandra. It was truly a privilage and blessing to serve with you in Ireland. You were a true example of goodness and helped form the foundation of service in the Kingdom for all of we missionaries.
My prayers and thoughts are with Dr. Covey's family. I had the distinct honor of learning the 7 Habits from him early in my career. Not only have the 7 Habits served as a cornerstone for a successful career, marriage and family, the love and compassion with which Dr. Covey taught these principles has served as an example for living my life. He will be remembered as one of the great leaders of our generation.
I was so sorry to hear of the loss of
Mr Covey. He truly was an inspiration to so many. May God be with the family &
give them peace-
Brother Covey's messages in his books are enlightening and inspired. He will be missed. The Lord must have another work for him to do. I will remember his messages and try to like a Christ Centered Life.
Stephen Covey was a great Mission President in the Irish mission and will be missed by all the saints in Ireland who knew him, my thoughts are with his family at this time
Dr. Covey's contributions to principle-centered leadership in all areas of life are second to none. He articulated principles in ways that have stood the test of time. He will be missed, but he has sown seeds that will endure generations. May his family be comforted and blessed by the love of family and friends during this difficult time.
As a proud certified facilitator of his work, I am saddened at this news. Dr. Covey changed lives around the world, including mine. What a legacy to leave. Covey family - you are in my thoughts and prayers.
I wanted to meet you. You helped me change my life so I could help others improve their lives too! you are worshiped!
Dr. Covey's many books on leadership provided a great foundation of learning for me and my thousands of Management students. I shall recall that he stressed that we all need to become less concerned about "human doing" and more concerned about becoming a "human being". His "eighth habit" will hopefully remind all leaders that "everyone has a voice" and can add value to your organization.
I had the pleasure of attending one of Dr. Covey's magnificent workshops. I have tried to emulate his philosophy of leadership in my lengthy teaching career--"to teach is to learn". My prayers to his family during this time of sorrow.
Dr. Covey's patient, gentle insights nudged me from a marginally successful "comfort zone" into a place where magic happens every day in my life. I will be forver grateful for Dr. Covey's presence on this earth. May his teachings and memory live forever.
Stephen Covey's "7 Habits of Highly Effective People" was the first real personal development book translated and published in post communist Romania.
It shaped our thinking and opened new perspectives.
We'll always remember Mr.Covey for the impact he had on us and our generation.
Thank you for being a teacher and friend over these many years. Thank you for keeping us focused in that first BYU Org. Beh. Graduate Group.
Our prayers are with your family.
You left our community, parents and staff of an elementary school in Millburn, NJ with a token of our memory of you as we as group studied your book for years, " Seven Habits" with a sign posted near the entrance of the school grounds. " You are a Winner"
Eternally grateful for your example of words and deeds. You lived the first and second great commandments.
Millburn, NJ 07041
His book and course changed my career. A true visionary.
God's blessings to the family of Stephen Covey. He changed the thinking and therefore the lives of so many people, including me. I credit the teachings of Mr. Covey for putting me on the road to success.
Dr. Covey will truly be missed. He was truly a man who chose to make a difference in the lives of those he came in contact with, whether in person or through one of his books.
Covey family, please know that you are in my prayers and thoughts.
As a former classmate at East High School I have great respect for Stephen and have had many opportunities to learn from and to teach principles he espoused in his books. God bless your family Stephen.
Ever since I met Stephen, I felt a closeness to his teachings. I taught the Seven Habits to the hotel staff for many years and feel a great loss with his passing. He will be missed but not forgotten.
Thanks for the anchor you provided for my lifetime during our service to the great people of Ireland. We missionaries will always be strengtened by your example and teachings, and the love you and Sandra gave to each of us.

To family and associates,
I had the pleasure of meeting/working with Dr. Covey in the late '80s. Truly a class act. His genuine enthusiasm and integrity through his written/spoken word(s)and exemplary life has blessed the universe.
This is a shock to hear. What a great man. He did so much good all his life. What an inspiration!
To the Covey family,
May you all look to God for comfort during this grievous time. Remember that he will "comfort all those mourning " (Isaiah 61:2)

Thank you Stephen for all of your advice, including my life motto I adopted soon after attending your Four Lessons in Leadership conference in Vegas in 2000: Leadership is a choice, not a position.
God bless you and your family. My sincere condolences,
This is a severe loss - not just to his family and to me and all who knew and loved him, but to the nation and the world.
Thankfully, he leaves a legacy of an exemplary family and many works of timeless wisdom we can and should take to heart and embrace as fully as we can as a tribute to this great, great man.

We lost a great man. I still have the Golden Goose I earned from taking his course and the golden egg for teaching his program.
I am sad to hear of the loss of Dr. Covey. He was an inspiration from his written word. I particularly enjoyed the one time I saw Dr. Covey at the Greenleaf Conference. A committed supporter of servant leadership, I know he will be remembered fondly for his many fine works and initiatives.
