Our thoughts and prayers are with the citizens of Oso, Washington, especially those close to the Satterlees. Thom and his wife are remembered fondly by those who were fortunate enough to have spent time with them. They will be genuinely missed by all. We can use a change from such painful tragedies and look forward to a time when mourning, outcry, and death as a result of a natural disaster or even old age itself will be things of the past.

He was an awesome friend and a great man. One of the best I've ever known. This world could really use more like him. I miss you already my friend and will see you again.
