Of the times you gave me the opportunity to help paint a script of yours on SNL, I can't think of a time that I didn't laugh until my ribs hurt. I was sorry you left us then and sorrier that you have left us now. -Bill Taylor.
Met Tom at the Icehouse, in Pasadena a long time ago . what a wonderful guy . My heartfelt condolences . John Hobbs AKA Biddlin Foster
To the family of Tom Davis I knew in high school and always enjoyed the humor he and Al brought to the parties. I got to keep up with his Snl from his mother Jean who worked at our family boutique in the mid 70s . Our mothers were aquatennial queens a few years apart . Jean was so proud of his humor and accomplishments, I remember her first trip to NYC to see the show. Talk about a proud mom!!! My deepest sympathies to your family. God bless
tom you are one in a zillion and thankyou for all the times you made me laugh and think.
We knew Tom casually and are very sad to learn of his death. He brought us many laughs and smiles and we are grateful for his life.
Mimi, he fought the good fight his way, It was simply a pleasure to care for him, sorry I never got through to him on the phone, I am sure he has settled in nicely on his final journey, Love Rita Gurry
I really enjoyed his work! God Bless the family and friends at this time of sorrow. It really doesnt matter if you know its soon, it still hits like a ton of boulders when it happens.
To the the family of Tom Davis - May God give you peace and comfort through his word and the Lord Jesus Christ during this time of sorrow, I know that he will be missed by many.
Tom was an extraordinary man to EVERYONE....rich/poor, famous/unknown...he had a gentle way of always including everyone and making all feel important/special. And if lucky enough to be loved by him the world was a better place!! RIP dear man......Thanks for making my life much more fun
Franken & Davis: "The comedy team that weighs the same." Classic stuff. Godspeed.
I will love the skits forever and always thanks for making me and my family laugh may you rip
Such a great writer, straight man and comedy team player. I found it so funny when he pleaded the audience to laugh at Al's one liner joke, due to his bandaged head and memory loss "He only took tips", it was so funny. I love the tone of his voice. I will buy his book. When a serious movie star dies it is sad,but when a comedian dies it is so moving as I associate them with laughs and great times. Thank you so much for the laughter you gave us. My sincere sentiments are shed on those friends who will miss him and his family who loved him.
To Mr. Davis Family,
May the comfort of God help you during this difficult time.
Saturday Night Laughs in the mid-1970s. M*A*S*H, Mary Tyler Moore and All in the Family made us chuckle. SNL made us laugh out loud. Thanks to Tom, best wishes to his family and friends.
Thank you for giving us so many hours of SNL laughter. Those early SNL classics are forever in our hearts and souls.
RIP Thanks for the laughs, SNL and "Hans and Frans"."You pumped me up" You'll not be forgotten. Condolences to the family.
Please accept my condolences during this time of sadness. May your faith in God strengthen you as you meditate on His words at Isaiah 65:17, 22-24.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family and friends or Tom. Thank you Tom for all the years of laughter.
Rest in Peace
Thanks for the laughs! Peace to your family and friends.
Almost 30 years ago he asked me,” what qualities do you find attractive?" The answer which rattled out of my naive mouth was a long list including a great sense of humor, good looks, ambition, modesty, artistic passion and intelligence. His answer was shorter and much more thoughtful. "Kindness", he said. This is what I will remember most when I think of Tom Davis. My sincere condolences to his family.
Our deepest sympathy to your family...may the God of comfort your family during this difficult time and you rest assured we have the hope of seeing Tom again as promised at John 4:28,29...our heartfelt condolences

As a comedian, Tom Davis was a hero of mine. His talent was beyond measure. While I never had the honor meeting Mr. Davis in person, I was influenced by his writing and I am saddened to hear of his passing. I would like to offer my sincere condolences to the friends and family and say thank you, Tom, for the laughs.
The best cousin anyone could ever ask for! Made the whole family laugh, cry and sometimes wonder what the hell??
