Thank you, sir. I, and the free world, are forever in your debt. The life that I and my family enjoy today was made possible by men such as yourself, General Sedlacek. You risked your life to fight not one, but two of the greatest evils the world has known. Your intelligence, your character, your personality, and your courage brought this about. We cannot repay you. But we will pray for you and your loved ones. And we will never forget you. Never.

As an American Veteran, I find that I am more and more moved by the actions of great military heroes. Too often, we only learn the details of their heroism after their passing. I know that General Sedlacek was a rare and courageous man of great character and I salute him! Thank you, Sir.

Even in America we honor you for fighting for freedom. Dekujeme! And God's blessing on Czech Republic!

My deepest thanks to this gentleman for the great sacrifices he made in his lifetime to aid in freedom for his people and the world. He was not thanked properly (Stalin hated smart and brave people) until later unfortunately. I remember studying about him in college in the states. God bless his family and friends at this time of loss. What a life!

A sám Buh bude s nimi.A setre jim každou slzu z ocí a smrt již nebude a nebude již ani truchlení ani krik ani bolest. Drívejší veci pominuly.“
