I really appreciate all that you have done and I will be praying for you.
My name is William Cody Mann im in the 12th grade at Winfield City High School. We were given a writning assignment to write soemone who has served in the military to fight for our freedom. Im a senior and i play football because you fought for that right for me. I want to say thank you.

He did what he loved and will always be remember for that.. I want to personal say thank you both for all you did for our country and to read something like this was very touching to my heart.. He's never gone to be forgotten.. Thank you for everything and just know one day you will meet again and gods is taking care of him while he's there with him!! I'm sorry to hear this and I want you to know your a great wife/ mother and will always be.. Hes a great man and did what he loved doing and that's a honorable man!!
Miss you my Brother, you was a great friend of mine, I will always cherish the good times and laughs we had in Iraq. NEVER FORGOTTEN!!
Hey, brother. Just wanted to say that I am proud to have served with you, and had a lot of good times in Afghanistan with you. No matter how tired, or pissed we were from mission you would always take the time to make sure our trucks were square to roll back out. Or that one time one of our trucks got stuck in the afghan mud in that village, up to the undercarriage and you had your guys come tow us out, lol. Thanks for that. No matter what you always had a smile on and were ready to crack a joke, boosting the morale. I remember when you got that tight helicopter, lol... You were always flying that thing around man.. Lol, We made jokes about turning it into a UAV. You were always there for your guys, and definitely willing to fight tooth nail for them. You taught me a lot of good values to have as a leader, and I will never forget them brother. I wish I could've been on this last deployment with you.. Ashley and the kids are in my thoughts and prayers. Love you brother, you will always be missed and never forgotten. Ashley, if you ever need anything feel free to ask the Palatas family, we will help any way we can. God bless you and yours.
Thank you for sacrificing yourself for families like mine that you didn't know but who prosper in the freedom you gave your life for.
It's funny to look back as an adult upon your childhood...flipping through faces of people that were apart of your life, but so many years later you try to remember them. Childhood is a sad thing in some aspects because as a child you sometimes do not reach out to people you would normally reach out to as an adult. When you grow up you see different things about people and are more curious to know things about them. I saw all these things because these are truths I have about you. Childhood has so many "groups" (not sure that ever changes.) I know for sure we weren't in the same "group" of people but we had MANY of the same friends. I know for sure that you didn't go unnoticed. I remember passing you in the halls and catching a glimpse of that contagious smile. You had it and it continues to live on through your Lily?. I'm sad that I didn't get to know you the way everyone else on this site may have. I have come to know you through all the messages I have read about you. I have connected with Ashley first by sending a special sign I created for Lily and now I've established an amazing relationship with her. She is a sweet girl and I'm lucky to call her a friend. You will live on through your gorgeous little girl and I know without a shadow of a doubt you will NEVER be forgotten.
I can remember being on patrol with Ashley when we first got to Hawaii and we got a flat tire. We both looked at each other and were like um yea we aren't changing that tire so Ashley called Kelly who brought a soldier and they changed our tire for us :) they had such an amazing bond that I've never seen between two people besides my own parents. Lily your daddy loved your mom more than anything in the world (well except for you)!!!
The ultimate sacrifice deserves the ultimate respect… and at the very minimum to always be remembered. My family is grateful and we won't forget you.
Ashley and Lily, May you have comfort and healing for your loss. I am so sorry for you both. Thank you for your sacrifice. Continue to believe that Kelly hears your thoughts and prayers and will help you find happiness once more. God Bless You.
I miss you everyday Kelly. You were my soulmate and will forever remain as such. Meeting you Iraq, allowed us to find something amazing in a place many would never expect to find love or much of anything. We were lucky to find what few are capable of. Marrying you was the greatest gift in my life, aside from the birth of our daughter Lily. You have left a legacy that everyday will be my mission to make sure you are not forgotten, and Lily will have the honor of telling of the Hero her daddy was. You promised me Forever and Always, and I look forward to the day we can be together again. Lily and I love you and miss you. Please watch over our baby girl, she is all that is left of you.
This world has lost someone so special, I am sorry I never got the chance to say goodbye, we went our seperate ways. God has sure taken another angel. I am glad you got to have the family you deserved, they were blessed to be part of you and I will keep them in my prayers. I still cant believe you are gone.
God needed a worthy Armour Bearer and call you into service, he needed you more, Go with God young warrior and guard the gates of heaven. God Bless you
Saw your story Ashley...just praying for you and Lily.... Here is what came to my heart.......http://www.bing.com/videos/search?q=youtube+i+drive+your+truck&FORM=VIRE1#view=detail&mid=DFE54188416AFA6E8551DFE54188416AFA6E8551

Kelly, our heart weeps for a lost future and swells with pride for the brave and honorable man and soldier you were. No parent should ever have to bury their child.
Heroism is described as conduct fulfilling a high purpose or attaining a noble cause....you are a hero in every sense of the word. We will love you and miss you every day of our lives and we will work to make sure your sacrifice is never forgotten.
John15:13 - Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.

For you every single soldier
Those who served so honorable
Your life was forever altered
While I'm home safe and free
I stand with grateful admiration
I stand respectful and so proud
I know I'm only a civilian
And I don't even know if it's allowed
But I salute you; allow me the honor to salute you with permission let me say
Even though I hold no rank know that from my heart
My humble gratitude comes from the deepest part. I salute you.
For those missing in action;for those who didn't make it home.I know you're in God's presence you are not alone. For every neatly folded flag;for every shattered family
I will do the only thing I know to dignify your memory. I salute you, allow me the honorto salute you with permission let me say even though I hold no rank know that from my heart my humble gratitude comes from the deepest part. I salute you.
I Salute You.

To the Lacey Family, Please accept my deepest condolences for the loss of your love one and hero William, and my sincerest gratitude for his service for our country.
God bless you Sgt. First Class William K. Lacey...you will not be forgotten.
I knew Kelly as a young boy about 5 or 6 years old, his family lived near by. Kelly would often come over and hang out with me when I was down by Pine Lake. One day I took him out in the john boat and he caught his first bass. He got mad because I made him let it go. Kelly was a fine young boy well thought of by all the neighbors. In my mind I still see him as that youngster, but I know he is a true American hero! My wife Takako and I send our heartfelt condolences to his family.

I knew Kelly in 9th & 10th grade at Niceville High School. Even though we didn't know each other very well I remember him as a very nice and sweet person. I was very saddened to hear of his passing, but am eternally grateful for his selfless sacrifice for our country. My thoughts and prayers are with the entire family. May you rest peacefully Kelly. God bless!
Although I didn't know your son, I represent my sons and NHS in saying we are so humbled by his commitment to laying down his life for others. I have 2 sons in the military-1 in infantry, 1 in helicopters, and it's men like your son and mine who encourage others by their witness to value integrity and sacrifice. As a military mom, I grieve deeply for your loss; as a Christian I rejoice in meeting him in the future. Keep your focus on the Lord and He will guide you through this season of life. Blessings to your family for raising and encouraging the heart of your son to serve for my sake.
Love you brother: the angels came way to soon: we miss you dearly

we knew Kelly in his younger years. he spent a few thanksgivings and Christmas with our family. he was a kind, sweet and loving man. our times of laughter were joyous. he loved family, friends and an old bull dog. sadness is the feeling of death and yet our hearts are joyous knowing that the Lord has chosen a special man to join him in the kingdom of heaven. our prayers are with the family, our memories within our hearts and pride of this great American.
