Thinking about you today Andy, Riding bikes to nowhere being young and careless. Life can be crazy most of the time but having roots with a friend like you makes it all worth while. You made the ultimate sacrifice for the free world, I am forever grateful and will never let your memories die man. RIP and god bless America.

Its Memorial Day today and as I do often, I'm thinking about you. I'm lucky to have known you. Feels like just yesterday we were riding bikes, raking leaves or suffering on the sidelines at some football event. Give Jesus a high5 for me.

Just a thought and prayer for Andrew, his family and especially Al his dad who I met by chance in a parking lot at the supermarket last year. I was supriised to see a display of portrait drawings of all the Illinois Vererans killed in action in OEF/OIF at the last Oasis on the way out of town on 294. Spent a lot of time looking at all their faces. Was very moving. God bless them all.
