I did not know that this was still here until today Austin, but I am glad that I is. I see a lot of people posting memories of you, and for a very good reason. As I knew you as Deacon, Teacher, and Uncle, you were very special to my heart, and I think of you very often. You was a very good person Austin, you always kind to people (even as a student) and you loved to serve at Mass, and you was very good at serving our Lord in that way. Some of the poems I have read talk about or refer to you as not being dead, and really you are not. Yes, your body has left, but your spirit, your goodness, you love for everyone, your spirituality can still and does touch others, in ways that God has intended for them to be so touched. What little time you had on this earth Austin, was used in a very big way, and that was, to touch other hearts with your love, in a way that no other could. You see Austin, You was the only "Jesus" that some people got to see. Enough said for now. Later!

Like others you are missed. I remember your love of family and baseball . But that was you. You loved % in everything you did. And the love of children melted my heart. Keep watching over us until we meet you and that beautiful smile. Hugs sent to you from this earth to your heaven . Love Uncle Jim and Aunt Carolyn

Austin,

It's hard to believe that it's almost been 10 years. Sometimes it feels like yesterday and sometimes it feels like a lifetime ago. So much has happened since you passed. So many memories made; 5K's walked in memory and honor of you; babies named after you and the list goes on. There's not a day that goes by that you aren't talked about or thought of; that you aren't missed or cried over; and guilt sometimes comes to you for having moved on with your life, knowing that a piece is missing and you really can't do much about it. Pray; pray is what I do. I pray for your peace, I pray for the peace of others who are suffering from your loss, I pray that the guilt of moving on and living goes away, but most of all, I pray for the day that I will get to see you again. I miss you brother; I miss your smile, your singing, your jokes and I even miss your sarcasm. I just miss you. I miss being able to hug you (in the brief moments I was able to visit with you), to listen to you, to just hear your voice. I will never forget the last words I got to hear you say to me, I love you Ang, and I love you too Oz. Things aren't the same without you and you always have what if's that you think of. And although it is hard to understand and hard to accept, I know in my heart that on that day, no matter what the situation or where you were, God needed you home.

With all of my love brother,

Angie
