My memories of Charles Kaman are wonderful ones, though a short period of time that I had the pleasure of meeting and getting to know him. It was, and will remain a highlight in my life. I was online looking at historical houses in the United States, and thought about the pictures that Mr Kaman shared with me once of his beautiful home on Avon Mountain, in Ct. The pictures he stated, were taken by a flyby in one of his Kaman Helicopters, and the view and his home,(the back yard)was spectacular. More memorable was the conversations about his life and inventions that he shared with me, and me, being a avid fan of the aviation industry and intrigued by the mind of an inventor, he had gained my undivided attention and reminded me of a younger time in my life when to dream was refreshing, and how he, as a dreamer had turned his dreams into a reality. I was overwhelmingly impressed and inspired. Mr. Kaman at the time was recovering at a West Hartford care facility, and my role was as a Certified Nurses Aide, and it was my Personal and Professional pleasure to have met and assisted him. My condolences to his family and friends on your lost, and a thousand and one apologies for my late acknowledgments. Respectfully. James Mclennon.

...a Legend, now, and forever missed by those who knew him, and worked for him.
I am Proud of working here for over 30 years, and even Prouder that "CHK" knew me by name. He was a man of class, and
distinction, who went out of his way to make sure that his "People" always had a paycheck at the end of the week.
God Bless You Charlie.
