They fought together as Brothers-In-Arms. They died together and now they sleep side by side. To them we have a solid obligation.

I had to do a presentation for my AFJROTC class and I had gone to the memorial for Dane Balcon in Woodmen Hills Colorado and have since then beeninspired by Dane Balcons dedication and service to his country. Thank you Dane R. Balcon

Dane,
Another Thanksgiving without you, yet I am thankful for all the beautiful memories you have left us with. As your mom, part of my heart is broken, and part of it still beats. I can't help but wonder what you would be doing or where you would be on this earth, but I know for certain what you would be thinking. Your memory continues to live on in the hearts and minds of so many and for that all we can do is be thankful. I love you mucho!

I have driven by the sign that honors you everday on 151 and Westover Hills. I had to learn more about you, so touched by your story. I will honor you everday as I see your name. Thank you for your service to our Country!
