Hello,
We would like to express our deepest condolences and also let the Hubbell Family and friends know that we will be sending Care Packages to deployed troops this week and we'll be dedicating several of these to your loved one. Each package will carry the name, photo and the hometown of Darren P. Hubbell US Army Staff Sergeant. We realize that this is a small tribute, but we do this with all respect and sincerity and we want you to know that it is made possible by thousands of like-minded individuals from across the American youth hockey community. We will not forget. May God Bless you and keep you safe and strong.

Sincerely,
Charlie Gili & Family

I was in highschool with Darren and we graduated in 1986. He was a warrior, a prince of a guy, a musician. He broke up a fight in jazz class one day that might have ruined two lives, while the rest of us were just sitting around letting it happen. He had a passion for the military and I'm glad he got to live his dream even as I am still angry with his loss. I don't think I had been around him since 1988. But I'm glad he was my friend. He will live forever in our memories.
