Correction: In addition our mother was also preceded in death by her other sister, Catherine Cahill (Zeck) my mothers sister and best friend here in the states. Our aunts death in 2004 took a devastating toll on our mother, she loved her so very much, they would call one another for everything and talk for hours on end. This was a huge oversight by all of us....We sincerely apologize to our cousins.

I thank God Almighty that He placed this precious woman in my life. I cherish our friendship and her stories of Dublin it was like we were transported to Emerald Isle. The only thing that top it was her love for Christ Jesus. Tonight as I watch the 2017 Inaugural Ball my thoughts went to Beth when Ireland's beloved Michael Flatley and his Lord of the dance team performed oh how Beth would've loved this. I remember when Riverdance first came across the pond and Beth went to Chicago to see it... she couldn't stop talking about it. Smile brightly precious lady your in the arms of Jesus.

I have known Betty since 1959 , when she first came to America . I fell in love with her immediately , and we have been fast friends ever since .
Was it any wonder , with her lovely Irish brogue , and sweet , kind personality , who could blame me ?

Oftimes , with my southern roots , and Southern Baptist back-ground , I would relate to famply and friends that Betty
was more Catholic than the Pope . We loved
her all the more for it .

Although we lived far apart in later years ,
we were never far apart in our hearts , and
I will miss her tremendously. My deepest
sympathy goes to all her children , whom
I love also , and I am praying the Lord will grant each of them peace .

I am looking forward to hearing your dear ,
sweet Irish voice in Heaven , Betty .

We will take up where we left off there .
