Ten years have passed since this fine young American paid the ultimate sacrifice for her country. Much has changed in those years but her courage, ideals, leadership and that wonderful smile remain shining bright. God bless you Captain Hampton, and may your family be blessed with better days and memories.

I went to Kimberly's memorial service in Iraq. My husband and I now own a CrossFit gym in Peoria, IL. CrossFit has various work-outs named after fallen service members. Tonight we are doing a women's only work-out and are naming the work-out after Kimberly. We will be reading her biography to our athletes tonight.
