Sgt,
11 years ago today, and we still miss you. You'll never be forgotten, you'll always be in my heart

SGT Griese, In a weird Deja Vu moment I was talking about you today to my coworkers and somehow received an email about this page receiving another post... I just want you to know that I don't only think about you on Oct 31st. You will always be in my mind and I have tried to live my life in a way that would honor you as the great person that you were/are.

Over the last three days I have thought about how I would write this entry. Finally I realized that unless all that I have faith in or have come to be believe in is false, Louis already knows what I have to say here. On September 7th, Stache left this realm for the next, and while I selfishly grieve; I know that he was welcomed by Louis and their game of tug-of-war (a remarkably ironic name) continues after an almost ten year delay. I know that Stache and Louis are at peace with the knowledge that all of us will join them soon enough and they will play and enjoy one another's friendship until, one by one, we arrive.

May God continue to bless you both.

Jim
