Thinking of Margie.
March 27, 2013
I just found out about Margie's passing. She was my first really good friend in college. We had a lot of great laughs and amazing adventures during my 2 years at Beloit. I had been trying to find her and reconnect over the past year or so, and recently she was on my mind, a number of times... so I am in shock at the moment...
Margie was a terrific friend. The last time I saw her was when I lived in S.F., back in 1987. She was kind, generous, fun to hang out with, and offered a wonderful opportunity for a meeting of minds concerning all matters artistic. She also introduced me to nuances of the Chicago art scene, back during our late 70's college days. She was a significant part of my life at a dynamic and developmentally turbulent/wonderful era of young adulthood, and stands out like some sort of endearing and memorable character from a classic coming-of-age novel, in my mind's eye... My deepest condolences to her family and friends.

I've just found out about Margie's passing. She was such a blessing in my life. I knew her before she had Nora. She is one of my all-time favorite artist.
We worked on art projects together and I witnessed her beautiful garden.

Although we lost track of each other through the years, she will always be in my heart and my heartfelt prayers to Jim and Nora, I know you miss her. With Love and Light always, Kathy Bibby
