My condolences to the Kucks family. My dad who died in 1980 was John A Kucks often called Jack or Jake. He grew up in Brooklyn on Rogers Ave. I was born in 1954 and grew up in Atlantic Highlands, Red Bank and Middlesex NJ. I believe he and Johnny were cousins. I have collected several of Johnny's signed items and cards. I wish I had met him. Much love to the family.

Laura-Jean and Rebecca, your dad and mom ,Johnny and Barbara, were special friends -especially during our time together with the Yankees. We were blessed to know them and have so many special memories. So thankful they are together now in their Saviour's presence. We look forward to seeing them there! Our thoughts and prayers are with you and family in your loss. In His love and ours,

Johnny was a great person and friend at Dickinson High School where we both attended in the early 1950's. Always had a smile and friendly attitude towards everyone. I never got to meet his family, but I'm sure he was the greatest Dad anyone could have had. I've devoted a page to him on my website at
