This year, as we reconnected with many old friends, you were missed even more. You would have been so proud of your daughter and had so much fun with your grandson. Sending love up to you today and always. Love you my brother and miss you every day. Mom, Dad, Jim, Lance and I will never be the same without you.

I met Steve so many years ago in 1982. He had an amazing grin. It was hard not to fall in love with him. I remember his family and how kind they were. When I heard about his death it made me so sad. I will always think of him when I hear a Van Halen song. And the crazy stunt he pulled when he ordered a pizza to be delivered into his college classroom a la "Fast Times at Ridgemont" High. God Bless his family. You are in my prayers.

Bill -
This was a treat last night to see a post from you. Your name has come up numerous times over the years, wondering how you were. We'd all love to reconnect with you but there wasn't an email, phone, etc. Send your info and hope you are doing well!

I cannot believe that it has been 14 years. I think about Steve all the time and miss him very much. The site is great. Memories flooded back into my mind as I looked at the pictures. My love to all of Steve's family and loved ones. He touched a lot of lives.

I'll always miss his anticipating smirk and one liners. Like Laura said, many things remind me of Steve...mostly certain music. The haggard family will always be family to me. Hey, Steve, I hope your not driving Uncle Fred too crazy...Oh, Stevie!

One of my biggest regrets is losing contact with my good friend Steve and my other friends from Riverside. I still think about him after all these years. We had such great times together.
I hope your family is doing well.
I miss you buddy.

Stephen John Haggard, my firstborn son. What a beautiful baby, adorable toddler, handsome young man. Gone too soon but never far from my thoughts and always in a special spot in my heart. Missing you every day. Love you always. Mom

I remember Steve as such a kind, easy-going, funny person and a loving & wonderful Dad to Tanya!
I will never forget our (Joe & I) wedding on May 14, 1994 when Tanya was our awesome little flower girl and Steve joined the (Haggard instigated) "New York, New York" chorus line with gusto!!

My very first memory of Steve was on August 17, 1986. This was the day that Steve and Angela set Eliot and I up on our blind date at the good ol' Cask-N-Cleaver. Angela and I were standing outside waiting for them and Steve came walking out first and I said, "wow Angela he is cute, thanks!" She than proceeded to say, sorry but that's Steve!! Oops!! :) He ended up being our best man in our wedding 3 years later! Wow do we miss Steve. We love all of you Haggards!!

My brother Steve was the guy able to roll with the punches, handle anything life through at him. He loved so much in life and had fun doing it all. He was a good example for the rest of us, so many funny stories growing up. I know he's still with us, saludos darling!
