HAROLD VANCE DUTEIL "HAL" 73, passed away peacefully December 6, 2012, at his home in Houston, Texas. Born June 18, 1939 to Annabelle and Herbert Duteil of Dayton, Ohio, he attended grade school and high school in the Dayton, Ohio area. In 1961 Harold graduated from Otterbein College in Westerville, Ohio with a Bachelor of Science degree. After graduation he was employed by NASA in Cleveland, Ohio for several years, he later relocated back to Dayton, Ohio and then to Houston, Texas where he worked and resided for the remainder of his life. Harold was preceded in death by his mother, Annabelle and his father, Herbert Duteil of Dayton, Ohio, by his brother Dr. William "Bill" Duteil of Texas, by his daughter Diana Duteil of Kenai, Alaska and by his granddaughter Ashley Marie Duteil. He is survived by his brother Eugene Duteil of Beavercreek, Ohio, his son Steven (Bronwyn) Duteil of Centerville, Ohio, by his son Scot Duteil of Beavercreek, Ohio, and by his grandson, Noah Duteil of Centerville. Preparations and Cremation was done by aCremation Funeral home of Houston, Texas. No services are planned. Donations may be made in Harold's memory to a favorite charity.
