Mr. Lafortune was an unforgettable influence on my youth as I was a 5th grade transfer student. He was a teacher who motivated and a coach who taught integrity. He made school fun and I have thought of him much as he contrasted to most of my teachers before and after.

I was sad to hear a fellow classmate had experienced a shortened life. I attended Conant with Ken and he was wonderful in his youth, which I am certain followed him throughout adulthood.

My sympathy to his family.

To Sam ,Aaron, Joshua and Heather and the extended Lafortune Family,

I graduated from Conant High School with Ken, he was a dear friend who we had lost touch with over the years. In June when my husband passed away I never dreamed that I would be attending another classmate's funeral. My very deepest sympathy to you all, as I do daycare in Jaffrey his name has been brought up by many of my school-age children, always with much affection and enthusiasm. As I think of the place that Ken and Terry are, I know that God only takes the best. May God help you to heal . Sincerely, Judy Ouellette

Uncle Kenny was a wonderful man. Very patient, kind and warm. That is what made him the great teacher that he was. I won't forget how he took the time to tutor me one summer so I would not struggle in the sixth grade. May aunt Sam, Aaron, Josh and Heather find peace knowing he left an impression on many lives.

The families of Jaffrey have lost a woderful role model for their children. He was the kindest and warmest of teachers. He was always thinking of his students and what would engage and motivate them. May his family always remember what a wonderful man he was and how much he loved each one of them.
