My heart goes out to Michelle and Adrienne's family and close friends. I am hard pressed to find the words to describe what Adrienne meant to me personally, our community, the feminist movement, and the consciousness and conscience of a nation. I am deeply saddened but also humbled and grateful that by coincidence of fate and instigation of a mutual friend, I was introduced to Adrienne and Michelle.
