A truly original talent. There was no one like her. She could play anything--drama, comedy and everything in-between, including "A Christmas Carol." At M-G-M she was popular with everyone, I think because she was always herself, never a phony, and she said what she meant. She drifted through the years with her beauty maturing with loveliness. Above all, she was smart! Now she belongs to legend, and that legend will now continue to grow.
