While we are saddened and know there will never be another "Clara Looper", think of all the young people she's had influence over - and have hope. All her work must not be forgotten.

She was one of the great ones, a pioneer in Civil Rights in Oklahoma. I once had the honor of sharing a panel with her on a local television show on Civil Rights. She was amazing.

My condolences to her family.
