Cora, you're most certainly gone, but I can assure you that YOU will never be forgotten. Your LOVING CHILDREN WILL NEVER FORGET YOU. I ADMIRE THEIR ZEAL, AND DETERMINATION TO KEEP YOU ALIVE. You have motivated your children to carry on despite darkness, and your grandchildren will always remember your giving heart. I lost my mother at the age of 11, and I watched her die. I held her hand so tight and I said mommy if you can hear me please squeeze my hand. She squeezed my hand so hard and that alone gave me the comfort that she LOVED ME, Yet she couldn't control her dire situation. So to Cora, and Carol (My mom) RIP, and your children looks forward to Revelation Chapter 21 Verse 4. DEATH WILL BE NO MORE..

Family and friends, AOL discontinued their service for the memorial web site I made. There were four of us who were together from Jr high to High School, Cora, Adela, Maria and myself, Irma. Here is a link to the new site with updated picture's. I also submitted the picture here in Guest Book.

I recently lost my sister-in-law, Betty Razo Hernandez, who also grew up with Cora. At her funeral a lot of high school friends were there and we did reiminse of school days. As I mentioned in my previous e-mail, my parents still live next door to where Cora grew up and as always, memories of Cora always flood my mine. I also remembered Cora, and those who died, on September 11th. My prayers and thoughts are with you. Anna Mejia Razo

My wife and I were your house cleaners for 8 years and we think that you were a very kind person. A person with a BIG heart. You treated us like we were part of your family.
May God be with you.

My son went to war because of the tragedy that took place on that horrible day, and I remember the horror I felt for the victims and family and friends of those that were killed, and not knowing how in turn this would effect me personally one day. I am sorry for the pain the families have went thru and still are feeling to this day. It has only been 18 mos for me and it is harder even as times goes by, The only comfort is God's hand in my life and that I will see my son Justin Penrod (my hero) again, along w/many heroes who died on that day.

I still think of you even though I don't know you. I saw your sweet daughter Jessica on "Starting Over" and it touched me to the core. I lost my son in law that day. He was a firefighter and never found. I pray you are both in a better place and looking out after all of us. May God be with you, and espeically your family and friends who miss you terribly. We will all be together one day. Jessica, I hope you have "Started Over" and are doing better.

I still cannot believe that Cora is gone. Everytime I go visit my Mom in California, I see the house she grew up in right next door to my Mom's house. I see the windows we use to talk across almost every night before going to bed. I have so many, many memories of Cora - School memories, girl talk memories, when she got married, when she had children. They fill my mind. I think of her family often. God Bless. Anna (Mejia) Razo

So sad to hear the news so late about Cora. I also attended Sturges JHS (7-9th). I remember Cora very well as she was a very gentle person. I was to have graduated with the SBHS class of 67, but moved to Highland while in the 11th grade so I graduated from SG in 67. Irma, please say hello to Maria Alvarez, Adela Antilon for me and have them drop me a line so we can catch up!
