Dear Laura, Brian, and families...I wanted you to know that you continue to be in my thoughts and prayers every day. We may not see each other anymore Laura but I need you to know that I am here for you and your family always. I am only a phone call away. I loved Dain, love you and always will...

Laura and Brian, Just a note to let you know, that I think of you all the time! I want you to know that Dain's passing will not be a fleeting moment in my life! I think of Him, and pray for him often. I wish I could help ease your pain, but I realize, the sorrow that you are still feeling, is only outweighed by how much you loved and miss him! There is no cure for this feeling. They say time heals all, but as you and I both know, that's not true! I just want both of you to know that Dain is not and will not be forgotten by myself, and I'm sure many others that have not written down their feelings! I see from time to time, Brie, John, Uncle John, Uncle Chris, Aunt Marina, Grampa Jack and Gramma Mary and they all still have a look in their eyes, that gives away the hurt they still, and will continue to feel. Who knows why you were chosen to bear this horrible burden? A "burden", that only God, and other families, that have suffered a similar fate, know the true feeling of. Know that I continue to pray for "All" of you! If I, or my family can do anything for you, please don't hesitate to ask! We love you folks, and don't know how else to help you, except Pray for you, and let you know, we are thinking of you, and you are not alone in your fight against this constant sorrow! God Bless all of you! Tim

Hello,
We would like to express our deepest condolences and also to let the Venne Family know that we recently sent a donation to the members of the Pennsylvania and Massachusetts National Guard who responded during Hurricane SANDY here in NY City in the name of Dain T. Venne US Army Staff Sergeant. We recognize that this is a humble tribute, but we wanted you to know that it is heartfelt and made possible by thousands of like-minded individuals in the youth hockey community and beyond. We will not forget. May God Bless you and keep you strong.
Sincerely,
Charlie Gili & Family

Prayer Shawls 4 Fallen Soldiers (ps4fs@charter.net) is an organization with groups throughout the country who work to send handmade prayer shawls and/or lap robes to families who have lost a loved one while serving our country. Members of Trindle Spring Lutheran Church would like to honor your son's sacrifice and memory by sending our prayers and comfort through a prayer gift which will be mailed to you. If you are interested, please contact me at gramman@comcast.net with the names and addresses of those who would like to receive one and which gift they would like to receive. We will send our gift as soon as possible. Also, if you know of any other families who are grieving the loss of a loved on who died while serving our country, please pass along my e-mail address. May God bless you and comfort you in the days ahead. Sincerely, Lynne
Dain was Ryans brother in the army, now they are bothers in death. May you be comforted knowing that you are in the prayers of many people.
Thank you for your sons service. God Bless you. Grandmother of Ryans sister.
There are no words to heal this pain, take away this loss or answer all the questions. Keep your faith strong and take each day one at a time. That is all you can do. We lost our father 3 months ago and we are still learning how to cope. Cherish the family you have with you and keep your brothers memory alive. When Claudio told me this I felt the need to express my condolences. I did not know your brother but want to thank him for defending our country and making the ultimate sacrifice. He is the definition of a hero. Bless you and your family Lucas.
