Elizabeth there isn't a day that goes by that I don't think of you. You are in my heart you're in my mind and you will always be next to me. When I die I will be next to you and we will visit in heaven. I'm sure you're standing the gate so I know that only the best will be in heaven. So much is going on down here on Earth and I wish that you were here to share it with us. You always said "we're always on Earth for a little while with life to the fullest and carry a smile" I try to live by that same because it's important but so few people feel that way.
I will never forget you and I won't let anybody that I know forget you. So many friends on Facebook share my feelings for you and I know that they are there and I'm glad I decided to write you today. Rest in peace my darling you are not forgotten. G-d bless.

Your legacy lives on, my children 2 girls and 1 boy have read about you and have prepared a presentation to share your story to their class this coming Veterans Day. And we are running a 5K this year in your honor Team A1C Jacobson for the DAV Disabled American Veterans.
When I walked the halls at Lackland, AFB your picture, a memorial in the Security Forces Squadron inspired and brought sadness. A life taken in the duty of service for our country.
Thank you for your service. May you live on through those who came after you.

I worked at the office next to your resting place. I would often come down and pay my respects to you because I lost my father In Vietnam. Even though I never knew you I felt drawn to you. The one thing I would always notice was the flags that were left on your grave would always wave when there was no wind blowing. They would be perfectly still until I stood next to you. I think that was your way of telling me that your spirit is very much alive and strong as you were in life. If you remember me I was always making sure that everything was clean and I would always pick up and stand up anything that the wind may have knocked down that your family and friends left on your grave. Thank you for your act of selflessness and for your service to keep us free. I send you and your family love.

Liz Jacobson, A1C Elizabeth Jacobson. She was where she wanted to be on September 28, 2005. We lost a great part of us on that convoy from Camp Bucca to Kuwait. Our team left Goodfellow AFB and the 17th Security Forces Squadron with thirteen members, and returned with only eleven (one member returned early on a humanitarian). But the spirit and memories of Liz Jacobson carry with Security Force members, in our minds and hearts forever.

I think of you often and miss you. You were a nice friend growing up, and you always had the kindest, most flattering things to say. Remember when you changed your name and made everyone call you Nikki? lol. To me, you'll always be Nikki. I wish that life didn't have to turn out like this and that we could be in touch now. I'll remember you fondly. Rest in Peace, friend.

Dear Sweet Pea, I know this has been a long time in coming. This is my first time writing as you well know. I don't know how to say goodbye and that I will see you again soon enough. I love you more than you will ever know. You are always in my thoughts and I think of you on a daily basis. I talk to Rainbow all the time. I just had a heart to heart with Anna about two weeks ago. I asked her if she thinks you have forgiven me and are proud of me. Thank you for saving my life. Thank you for telling on me. We are so much alike. We are head strong, stubborn and opinionated. We are also very sensitive, soft and vulnerable. We love life and we love people. Gram has always been my rock. Jen hasn't been around for awhile. I miss my Princess too. I don't want her to join you. I want to do for her what you did for me. When you left us I had a reoccurring nightmare and was running in my sleep into the closets and walls to try and stop the bomb from blowing up before I could get you out of the Hum-V. It always went off before I could reach you. You are with me always. Every time I look in the mirror, I see you. Every time I say my name, I see you. When my belly ring and Star of David came off I knew you were telling me to let you go, I just can't seem to. You will always be my baby girl. You know I will never give birth to a child but having you and Jen has helped complete me. I'm an empty shell. I need you. I love you always and forever

Elizabeth Nicole Jacobson, we served together at Camp Bucca. I remembered you as a bright young security forces airman. I worked in the pharmacy at Camp Bucca, and would see you from time to time working on your way in and out and wondered why such a bright young woman would do such a difficult job. I was a army sergeant at the time and was inspired by the Air Force Women and their work. Thank you for your inspiration, hope and protection.
Thank you for your service. You live in each one of us remaining, and we will never forget you.

Hi Baby,
I didn't sign into the book this year, but we had a wonderful visit with you; Aunt Beth, Rainbow with Raheem who is adorable, and me. It was quiet, but we talked about how much we missed you and your ways, good and bad. Mitch called and we talked for awhile, his birthday with this day still bothers him a lot so he likes to celebrate it late. Rusty posted on Facebook as did many, many of your friends. Dad & I talked he tries to keep a stiff upper lip, but he doesn't do too good hiding it from me. Michael Pemberton had a baby boy on the 27th. Anna always writes how much she misses you too, Know that I love and miss you so very, very much.

A1C Elizabeth N. Jacobson is now inscribed on the Walkway of Honor at East Hanover Town Square Park. The Mayor and Council plus East Hanover Girl Scouts placed blue glass beads and stones around her name representing the Air Force and their visit to honor her. The American Legion Honor Guard fired a volley and Taps was played. It brought tears to my eyes.
