My deepest sympathies to your family. I expect, though, that you had many terrific years with a truly outstanding man!
I was just a kid when my parents watched Mr. Paar's show. They didn't know it, but I was fascinated by him. I used to get out of bed and listen from the top of the stairs.
One day I was so thrilled. I sent him an autograph book (which I still have) and he returned it with his signature. That was so kind of him.
I'm 54 now, but have always looked for articles, news items and programs about him.
