My brother and I read so many of the Berenstain Bears books when we were kids. They were our favorites! My condolences to the whole family...

I'm so sorry to hear of Jan's passing. My daughters and I are big fans of your wonderful children's books, The Berenstain Bears. Your books are just about all we read at bedtime any more. Thank you for the many, many hours you enabled me to share with my daughters at story time before bed. May God bless your family during this difficult time.

Deepest Sympathy to the Berenstain family. Both Stan and Jan's spirits live on through the wonderful books so many have enjoyed. My 48 year old son still has his original copy that he shared with his sons.

I don't know any child who didn't love the books. They were a special part of childhood for so many. Thank you for leaving us this legacy.

The Berenstain Bears books were a part of our home for many years. With the titles of "Too Much TV", "The New Girl in Town", and "The Bad Habit", my children learned so much about life. We also visited the Berenstain Bears area at Cedar Point in the mid-80s--great memories. Blessings to the Berenstain family. Judith Griffith Klink (Charlotte, NC)

Having raised three kids on your books, I think I can still recite "The Spooky Old Tree" by heart. Your books are amazing...thank you for the hours of entertainment, which also led to meaningful discussions with my kids. RIP, you will be missed.
