Spc. Johnathan B. Chism

It's been a very long time Chism, but today is Memorial Day so of course you come to my mind. I wish I could thank you for everything you've done. And know that we always miss you. I always knew that the crazy guy in ROTC, and one of my best friends would do something great with his life. And you did:) we love you Chism.

It's been a while chism. I don't ever post but I read stories about you all the time, I check back on what people drop in and say. I guess it helps to remember the days back when you drove my brother and I to school, skipping school and going ride to St. Francisville for no apparent reason. Jamming to nelly. I can still smell that purple car freshner you used in that mustang. I bet no one will forget that diesel isuzu you sported. You were a good friend to everyone and I can't think of one person that didnt know you. I can go on and on with stories. I'm sure everyone could. I just decided to post today to let your family know what you meant to everybody. A friend, mentor and a hero. The most noble person we know. Thank you for doing what most don't, thank you for not being selfish and thank you for giving life your all. It was short, but well honored. My thoughts are with you, my fallen friend and American hero.

To the family and friends of Spc. Johnathan B. Chism:
It has truly been my honor to sign Johnathan's guest book these past few years. Unfortunately, due to complications from my Multiple Sclerosis, this may be the last message I'm able to write. Please forgive me and know that Johnathan will always be remembered in my home.

Thinking of and Honoring Spc. Jonathan Chism on this day. His memory and sacrifice lives on perpetually even by strangers such as myself, who were aware of such events. Prayers are being said for his family.

I was with Jonathan in basic training, Fort Richardson, and over in Iraq with him at different COB's. I will miss him and I wish the family peace and comfort.

God Bless SPC. Johnathan Chism. Thank you for your sacrifice to our country, to my family, and every American. Thank you too your parents and family for allowing SPC Chism to serve our country. To the family and friends of Spc. Johnathan B. Chism:
Always remembering Johnathan. "Some gave all."

Chism, just started thinking about the old days when we all hung out in school and started missing you. Can't believe it has been four years already. I miss you and hope you know how much everyone loves/loved you and miss you. Watch over us all until we see each other again.

Spc Chism was/IS a war hero in every way. He gave his life for me and the rest of all of Ameica. We could never even begin to pay him back, nor his family back. Mr Chism died a hero.

I also wanted to state that my nephew was with Bryan when he lost his life, and to this day, and the rest of eternity I will be truly thankful to Bryan for his service to this great nation. I don't believe my nephew would be here today if it weren't for the actions of Bryan on Jan 20, 2007. We are a safer and better country because of him.

To the family and friends of Spc. Johnathan B. Chism:
Please accept my remembrance of Johnathan on the anniversary of his passing and know that he will never be forgotten.
