My deepest sympathies for all of the good people from the White and Galvin families, originally from Ward 20 and Ward 2. A great leader, a visionary, and a gritty Boston politician in the very best sense of the word. Yes, I was at that Stones (stoned?) concert as a college kid, and later I was blessed...no other word for it...to work for him at City Hall and Boston City Hospital. I have toiled in many political campaigns and causes and no one ever came close to his energy, his magnetism, his toughness, and yes his ever endearing charm. We will miss you Mayor White. God speed for His Honor. God speed.
