Our nation has lost one of our greatest ladies. I met Mrs. Johnson a number of times when I worked at Love Field in Dallas and she was always the sweetest and nicest person you could ever meet. The first time I met her I was struck by her beauty and her flawless complexion … photographs never did her justice. Our nation, in particular Texas will always be in her debt for all she did for conservation and beautification. Heaven will be an even more beautiful place now that our Lady Bird can add her special touch.
