To the German Family,
I am very sorry for the loss of your loved one, Merlin. What a couregous young man. His positive attitude is a lesson to us all. God gave us a promise that soon no one will have to give up thier lives so that others may live Isa 2:4 ...Nation will not lift sword against nation, neither will they learn war anymore... May we all find hope in this promise where God's peace will reside on earth.
May God give your family strength during this very difficult time.

Stopping by here to let you know I think about Sgt German quite often. I remember the optimism during his long battle to recover and I was so saddened when he succumbed..... please know his(and his family) story truly touched me. Rest in peace- you will NEVER be forgotten
