Dear Nasima,
Every time the news of that terrible 9/11 comes up, the first person I think of is you. I had known you since my school days whilst visiting your sister Salma. I was always so impressed by the humble and welcoming nature of your family and just as I miss you today, I know they must be missing you too. Pray that you are happy where ever you are and may Allah give your family strength. May your soul rest in peace in Jannat e Naeem. Amen.My husband Hussein is reading this and joins me in conveying the same sentiments.

Nasima and I were roommates and friends at Columbia and I only recently learned of her passing. Sadly, we fell out of touch. I am so sorry, Nasima, that you are gone now - I will always remember the fun we had together and I will never forget your beautiful smile and laugh.

Dear Nasima,
Although we only rarely saw each other at family gatherings you only sadly touched my heart after your death, and for that I'm so sorry. You are so truly missed by all that knew you, especially from all the stories my dad shared. May Allah bless you.
