Abuelo siento un gran dolor en el alma por tu partida, sobre todo por no haber estado contigo en tus ultimos momentos. Todos extranaremos tu sonrisa, tus chistes y sobre todo tu fortaleza. A La familia Acevedo, siento mucho la perdida de su padre, sientanse muy orgullosos de el, los queria a todos con locura, hablaba mucho de ustedes, fue un buen soldado, buen padre y para mi un buen ABUELO. El guante de Vilorio que dejastes en mi bolsa ya no jugara mas tiene imprimido dos nombres Franklin Vilorio y Ramon Acevedo. Siempre te tendre presente, Descansa en Paz ABUELO.

Usted no sabe el dolor que siento en usted no estar aqui. Everyone that knew viejito had such a love and such a carino for him. He was loved by all. A wonderful man who brightened up your day with that smile of his and that little wave and his Que Paso. We had promised to go to dinner the night before and it was the hardest thing to go to dinner without him. We still held his spot for him and I knew that he was smiling at us from above. I loved him like a grandpa and I miss him so much. My heart truly broke the day that he passed. Mi viejo siempre te voy a querer y extranar. As la familia de mi viejo le mando mi pesame. My prayers are with you always. I'm sorry that I can't say much but it's so hard for me right now. I have some comfort knowing that he's not alone that he's with Franklin.Yo no lo conosco pero siento como si lo conosiera lo mucho que el hablaba de ustedes. He loved you guys so much. Descansa mi viejo.

MY THOUGHTS ARE WITH YOU AND YOUR FAMILY AS I PRAY EACH AND EVERY DAY FOR ALL OF OUR TROOPS AND THEIR FAMILIES AND FOR THEIR SAFE RETURN. WE ALSO HAVE A SON THERE IN THE 3RD ID SO THIS IS A VERY HEARTFELT NOTE TO LET YOU KNOW OUR FAMILY IS PRAYING FOR YOU. GOD BLESS YOU ALL AS WELL AS THOSE SERVING OUR COUNTRY.

To the Family and Friends of Ramon,

We may not have known Ramon personally, but that doesn't make any difference, one life lost, is one life too many and we want you to know we feel your pain. We are still trying to get our lives back in order after losing our beloved Granddaughter, A1C Elizabeth N. Jacobson, a Security Forces Blue Beret, who lost her life in Iraq, 9-28-05. But, rest assured she is now guarding the Gates in Heaven while waiting for Ramon to join her and keep watch over us. Without our children this Country would not be what it is today. May G-d bless our troops, and hopefully, someday soon, Freedom and Peace will reign, so they all can be brought home safely.

No matter what type of accident or act of war, a loss of a child or friend is very traumatic, I know that words aren't much consolation, but we thank you for allowing him to serve. He will always be a hero in our hearts and will not be forgotten.

Elizabeth's motto was "We're only on Earth for a little while, so live life to the fullest and carry a smile."

SFC Acevedo, your smile is greatly missed around here. You had a impact on everyone you came in contact with. You and your family are in prayers.

Siento mucho tu muerte aunque nunca te conocí pero teníamos un mismo lazo que nos unía que era mi mejor amigo Franklin Velorio, tu escribiste un lindo mensaje en el libro de Franklin y yo te escribí una carta en tu E-mail ya que ti dijiste que tenia unas fotos y un CD con recordando mi mejor amigo Franklin y te escribí pidiéndote que me mandara uno, veo que te fuiste al cielo.
Siento mucho tu partida
