Mr. Galvin - to you - soar with the angels - relax and enjoy!! To your family, please speak of good memories often - and know many people are thinking of each of you at this time of sorrow. My husband worked for Motorola for 31 years - he did meet Robert more than once - and had the highest respect for him. Robert will be forever missed.

Sincere condolences to the Galvin family. We all lost a great leader and true gentleman. There are very few people who can touch so many lives in such a simple and humble way. I had the privilege of working at Motorola during Bob's tenure and it was a privilege. He made all of us feel good about what we were doing and that made work a joy. His leadership and vision are greatly missed. Carol Moore (Arlington Heights, IL.)

Bob was an inspiring leader and wonderful person. Coming on my 25-yr anniversary, I am very proud that I can say I worked that long for the great company he built. He is going to be missed by many. My prayers and thoughts go out to the Galvin family.

WE WILL HONOR BOB'S LEGACY.
I was one of the lucky ones. I got to work directly with both Bob and Chris Galvin. Bob and I even invented together in the 1990’s. The world has lost a great leader and visionary. I personally have lost a role model, mentor, inspiration and friend. I kept his last email telling me, “Keep it up, Maria. You are very much on the right path!” He steered my course to where I am today – living my passion in the Innovation Space. He believed that ANYONE could be creative and innovative, and together we could change the world. And we did, and we will continue to do so. My heart goes out to Chris and the entire Galvin family for your great loss.

I was fortunate to meet Bob a few times during my 36 year Motorola career. He was one of the most approachable executives ever. The company was a remarkable place to contribute, grow and learn while he was in charge.

A gentleman, and one the greatest global business leaders of all time. Bob once told me that success is easy... Uncompromising Integrity, Constant Respect for People, and Total Customer Satisfaction ... and everything else falls in line. He lived them to perfection - I will continue to try.

Bob was a remarkable leader. He had a profound impact on me when I worked at Motorola for over 13 years. I met him a few times when I worked in Corporate. I really got to meet him when he spoke at a luncheon for a volunteer activity I did for Motorola. We talked about Motorola and my family. I had lunch with him several times after that. He would sit down with me at lunch in the 1301 cafeteria. I was amazed that he remembered what we talked about at the volunteer luncheon. I have many memories of him. He is truly unique. He will be missed by all Motorolans. My sympathy to the Galvin Family.

The world ,the nation, and all of the "Motorola Family" will miss this truly Great Leader. Our family was part of Motorola for three generations. and were privileged to meet and talk, and be inspired by Bob on several occasions during my 45 years at Motorola. May Gods blessings be with the entire Galvin and Motorola family

Thank you for a great career that has enhanced both my personal and professional life.
