Many years ago I met Ms. York at The Oak Bar in Manhattan. What a beautiful, talented, intelligent and sophisticated woman. The meeting was purely accidental and she certainly could have maintained her privacy, but she sat down at the bar--she was waiting for a business acquaintance--and engaged me in a pleasant conversation of some fifteen to twenty minutes. WOW--what a lady. My sincere condolences to her family.
