I didn’t know you long, I didn’t know you well, and I didn’t even know your last name at the time. I didn’t have to - - you were that kind of guy.
I met you about a year ago. After being diagnosed with high cholesterol. I didn’t want to do the medicine routine and decided to include more fish in my diet.
That day forward we saw each other every Sunday for my weekly fish buy with a guaranteed smile and “how ya doing?”from you.
I missed you one Sunday, someone else waited on me. I thought maybe you had the day off. To my surprise several minutes later and a few aisles away there you were in front of me. You said to me, “Hey, I thought I saw you at the counter and then you were gone.” “I just wanted to say Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.” And all this came with a huge hug from you.
I thought, WOW, you searched me out to do that. That is so sweet, my eyes puddled.
I believe people come into our lives for a reason. Even if just as a simple act of kindness. I will cherish this memory of you for the rest of my life. Thank you, Mr. Ed Ervanian.
