Francis TRUSTER Obituary


News Death Notice

TRUSTER, Francis L. "Skeeter" Age 79, died at his son's home in Trenton at 2:55 am on May 20, 2015. He was born in Hamilton the son of Harry and Hilda (Allspach) Truster. On January 6, 1956 he married Charlene Petry in Liberty, Indiana. He retired as supervisor of stores at Armco Steel after 32 years of service in 1991. He was a member of Jacksonburg United Methodist Church. Skeeter was also a member of Southwestern Ohio Antique Tractor and Power Association. He was a former member of Butler County Farm Bureau and a former Wayne Township Fireman. He was an avid gardener and well know neighborhood handyman. Skeeter enjoyed restoring and showing his numerous antique tractors and his vintage 1949 Chevrolet pickup truck. Skeeter is survived by his wife Charlene, two sons Jon (Kathi) Truster of Middletown and Tom Truster of Trenton and one daughter Melanie (Bill) Brunner of Middletown, his brother Glen (Mitzi) Truster of Trenton, and five grandchildren Michael (Stephanie) Truster, Matthew Truster, Nicholas Truster, Benjamin Truster and Kayla (Bart) Klapper and two great grandchildren, Emma Truster and Larkin Klapper and his beloved dog, Zoey. Funeral services will be held at 10:00am Friday, May 22, 2015, at Weigel Funeral Home, 980 NW Washington Blvd. with Pastor Wes Souders officiating. Visitation will be held Thursday from 5pm to 8pm at the funeral home. Burial will be in Butler County Memorial Park, Trenton. The family wishes to thank his Hospice nurses for their tender loving care. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Vitas Hospice, 11500 Northlake Dr., Suite 400, Cincinnati, OH 45249 or PAWS Adoption Center, 2790 Cincinnati-Dayton Rd., Middletown, OH 45044. To The Entire Truster Family - I am sorry for your loss. Worked with "Skeeter" for many years at AK. He was a loyal and dedicated employee, but most of all he will be remembered as a "good man". He always put others first. He will be missed.
